Chapter 9 (Reasons)

"So first of all...I am not a sage. I am the Great Spirit Of War.

"Not that great though haha....anyways i have to tell about the backstory to Yamato too so I will just force him to wake up by creating a nightmare in his mind."

Spirits..especially the war spirits have many abilities other than speed and those Yamato has not developed in himself yet.

The spirit puts a horrible imagine of his friends getting slaughtered in his mind which woke him up in an instant.

*YAMATO SAVE US*

*YAMATO!!!!!!!!!!!*

*huah* Yamato takes a deep breathe and wake up

"That was a damning dream. Anyways i gotta go to Yuna now or she might be worried."

Yamato goes to meet up with Yuna where he found her still sitting and snacking on food while waiting for Yamato

As she sees her she shouted "WHERE WERE YOU LOST YAMATO? DID YOU FORGET YOUR WAY IN?"

"Lady Yuna I wasn't lost I just got interested in the view outside. The cold breeze, the flapping of birds, and the shooting of guns. All very peaceful right?'

She pouted for a moment and then asked "First of all you shouldn't leave a lady alone and so you mean the shooting outside was a crime scene right? you should be careful or you might get in between all that"

"Yeah yeah I'll be careful thanks for your concern" Yamato said

"Anyways i gotta go cuz I have many pending tasks at home. Thanks for your time today i really enjoyed it. I hope we strech our friendship more to a..... nevermind I'll go now"

she said that and left Yamato confused

Yamato then also left the club and went home

"What a troublesome day it is. Now that I remember for an introvert like me this is the first time ever I ever got to spend time at any place with my friends so I guess I owe her for this time"

As Yamato reached his apartment and rested on a chair a voice in his head which was of the spirit said

"Aren't you a lucky kid to spend your time and make someone worry for you huh"

"Oh you are that sage right? and no I don't seem to be lucky." Yamato said

"I am not a sage I am a spirit so Sir Yamato are you interested in knowing about me?" The spirit asked

"Sure, it won't hurt to hear your past"

The spirit started to tell Yamato about her past

"I was born in a different world many many years ago as spirits have a greater lifespan. The world was full of demons, beasts, mages and of course the spirits. That world is called 'Elypt' and we are called Elytians. The time I was born it was very peaceful at the time and my name is Zelfred but you can call me whatever you want like I had a nickname of Akari"

In Planet Elypt about a hundred years ago.

An old lady particularly the mother of Akari and one of the elder spirit was teaching Akari about the basics of the world

"Listen Akari, even though we are one of the most powerful breeds, we still have to work as we are told for our lives especially as a female spirit. This world has no open rights and to survive here obedience is obligatory but that doesn't mean we can't train ourselves to make it better so that's why I'll be teaching you about the dark level skills for your defense"

"Okay mom"

The woman gets up and guides Akari

"So first you have feel the power as it is running inside you and then try to reshape the mana you have into your body shape and make a body shield which more precisely is body strengthening"

Akari does as she is told and creates an unexpected amount of mana and her body gets way too hard making it unable for her to handle and she collapsed

Her mother heals her with healing magic and says "You have what it takes but you need some training because what you did was something a normal spirit could be able to do after years of training. With enough training, you will, for sure become a legend"

"Now that I think about it, that was the first-ever skill I ever obtained making a path to become one of the most powerful spirits." says Akari

Akari was sent to a training school where she spent a lot of time training and making memories. She spent 5 years in the school before something disastrous happened

Akari was now about 12 years old according to human age and was having a great result and time at her school.

"You again beat me Akari just how strong are you" said Yuri who was a friend of Akari at that time

"You need a lot of practice Yuri or you won't be able to pass this term" said Akari

"I am under your care miss Akari"

They both were very good friends though Yuri was one of the weakest whereas Akari after getting a hold onto her mana was totally unbeatable. She won every tournament and was the ace of the school and naturally had many who hated her but she always ignored them.

Akari was now 15 years old according to human age and had learned many high-level skills that she could herself become of the greatest spirits but she wanted to increase her knowledge and kept on studying.

It was a normal day and Akari was returning back to home after school and sensed something weird around her town.

As she got close she was terrified. It was a strong scent of blood. As she reached her house she saw all the town's people dead. Fully terrified Akari went into her house where she saw her mother on her last breathes

"Akari my daughter....this is what happens when you disobey them...please live on and get us spirits freedom....I am counting on you" These we Akari's mother's last words.

"I swear to you mom they will pay" Akari pledged...

"I have been waiting to ask that who are "them"?" asked Yamato

"They are the church that controls every breed on the planet so yeah my fight is against that whole world." Akari said
