Chapter 7 (A New Friend)
Yamato wakes up again by the dramatic beeps of his alarm
*SLAP*
"Shut up for once you damn clock."
Yamato had been training since the past 2 months to get used to his body and it helped him a lot as he has been doing his hero job now and then. If his level was 1 before then now it's 10 so it's pretty tough to level up with his powers.
"My body hurts uhh I have been staying in this form for a lot of time nowadays. I wonder if it's doing any good."
He gets up and continues his half daily life of school.
As he reaches school he saw a poster of a festival that's going to be held in school.
"Hmm so it consists of soccer, basketball, racing and volleyball in sports section. With my current level I can surpass every single of them".
He took the noticed and filled for every game.
"You sure you can do them all dude?" one of his classmate asked
"Even with your strength, these all games are of speed do you think you can play them?" asked another of his classmate
"Just watch me beating the world." Yamato said with a deadly smirk.
It was then time for the matches to decide if Yamato was good enough for the games
First it was soccer and with his fast speed and accuracy Yamato tackled every opponent and was selected.
And he got the same results in other and got selected for all.
Everyone was shocked as they looked at his speed and performance.
"HAH I am not even using 10 percent of my powers. This is easier than I thought."
After some time it was now the break time.
Yamato as usual went to the roof to spend his time alone thinking about his new strategies to fight the upcoming challenges the mage in his head was talking about when suddenly a classmate of his named Yuna Sakumi too went to the roof to talk with Yamato.
"You are Yamato right?" she asked
"Umm yes I am? You want anything?" Yamato asked
"That attitude will get you no where dude. Atleast be a little nice when talking to a lady."
"Huh what? what did i say that you think was rude?" Yamato asked in confusion
" 'You want anything' You know that's pretty rude."
"Oh sorry I was thinking about something else when I said that and maybe because I don't talk that much. So anyways what brings you to me?"
"Well everyone was talking about you that how you changed after your friend's death and everything and some even hate you so I just wanted to ask if I could be any help to you."
Yuna said in a cute way.
Yamato noticed that and made an awkward face and said "Umm miss I am thankful that you were worried about me but I don't need any sort of help. But thanks for noticing my lonliness."
"Not miss it's "Yuna" dude you don't even remember the names of your classmates and what's with the awkward face do you think I am a pain?" she asked and pouted
"Well to be honest you are forcing your way in my life lady Yuna and it will cause both of us trouble----
while Yamato was talking, Yuna intruped and said "gosh... you are making me look like a loser and if you think it will cause me trouble then done worry I shall cause the trouble a grater trouble and I'll be following you from now on as I don't have any other thing to do."
"Don't go on deciding things on your own..."
Yamato complained
"Shhh no complaining, we are going to meet at the front gate after school today. I still want to know you better. Think of it as a date. I'll be waiting." Yuna winked and went back after saying that
"Girls are such a pain...I guess I can't let her hanging so I'll go with it for today." Yamato sighed and went back to his classroom.
"I'll be waiting for you outside the school." she whispered to Yamato in the class.
"Can I have a moment of peace lady Yuna?"
Yamato complained
After school Yamato went to the main gate and instead of her waiting for Yamato it was the opposite.
"I so wanna run Away right now but my instincts tell me that something bad will happen if I do so so I guess I'll just wait for the little princess."
"SORRY FOR THE WAIT"
a high sound came from the branch and it was noone else but Yuna running towards Yamato
*BAM*
And she falls
"Even her falls are dramatic hah."
She gets up and again started to run towards him
Ash she got close she said "You know if you see a woman fall, as a good gentleman you should lift them up. But anyways let's start our date."
"I don't know how it is a date when it was supposed to be an interview but I'll just get myself in."
"It is an interview of course. Just stop complaining Yamato." said Yuna
They both went to a cafe and introduced each other
"I am Matsume Yamato same grade as yours same age 16 and lives on standards" said Yamato
"I am Yuna Sakumi and the same as you."
"You are energetic that's the different." said Yamato
"Hahaha you make good jokes."
Then they ordered some cups of coffee as they talked about the incident with Izumi
*Yuna starts to cry*
"I never thought it would be that sad *sniff* I'm sorry for asking."
Yamato patted her on the head to comfort her
"There there no need to cry what's done is done."
"Yamato...you have a sweet and cold personality. And I like it." She smiled
"Well I don't care about it at all so suit yourself." Yamato replied
"Yamato...can we be friends?" she asked whole blushing.
"Huh why? you wanna spend time with this cold boring guy?"
"Just say yes or no. I don't mind your personality and I just wanna be with you for time being."
She said while blushing super hard
"Well it would be cold if I turn her down after this" Yamato thought
"Alrighty *he pulls his hand ahead* let's be friends lady Yuna." Yamato said with a smile
"Yayy let's be besties though your smile is creepy." she said as she laughed
"I took another trouble on myself again. *he sighed* have I learnt nothing from the past?"
