Chapter 18 (The Rough Wielder)
The streets were unusually loud and people were running and shouting for help. It wasn't a war nor a terrorist attack or any common emergency or a festival but the horrors coming from outside were no different from a war.
"Did a war break outside? Has World War 3 started?" Yamato asks while gearing up.
"Huh? your world had only 2 wars yet?" Akari surprisingly asks.
"It is not a destructive world like yours. Anyways what's going on outside?" Yamato replies and asks with confusion.
"I won't know until you see it but I can sense the awkward presence of creatures which are not from this planet," Akari replied with a conclusion.
"So can it be that the kings have started to take action?" Yamato asks.
"Most precisely. Now's the time to introduce you as a hero Yamato." Akari replies
"Maybe. Cuz I don't know if I will survive it. We still don't have any idea what's the thing making all this ruckus." Yamato says with a nervous voice.
"Don't be scared. We won't know until we check for ourselves." Akari comforts.
*IN THE FORTRESS OF KING GARRISON*
"I can not let that man go on a rampage with no weapon, I must assist him as much as I can," Garrison mutters.
"Now then what weapon would fit that guy." he thinks as he bites his nails.
"What are his attributes again? Oh yes, he has speed and IQ for now and the bloodlust. I am glad I asked Almeida for his info. So now, what weapon will fit him?" he thinks more intensely and finally comes to a conclusion.
"As his main power is speed, he can't use spells or bullets as they would be no fun for him and that just leaves a sword. YES. THAT'S IT, he needs a sword. And as for that I know exactly know which one to choose." he says with a grin and walks to his basement and then to the weaponry room where he keeps all his treasure some weapons.
He opens his swords cabinet and picks up two identical swords which can be used by a dual wielder. The swords were pretty unusual and had erotic energy coming out of it.
"THESE ARE PERFECT!" he shouts with joy
"Now I should send it to him. Though it takes too much of my energy," he says and started to make the magic circle
*INSIDE YAMATO'S ROOM*
As Yamato was heading out fully geared with his mask on, he saw a magic circle appear.
"Hey Akari what is this circle?" he asks in confusion
"That's a magic circle for teleportation. Don't worry it may be someone helping and sending weapons as these circles cant teleport anyone from another world to a different world." Akari replies
"Ok then," he says
A box started to appear on the top of the circle as it vanishes.'
"Wow looks like it's a high-class weapon. I can sense its energy pretty well" Akari compliments.
"So may I open it? Is it safe?" Yamato asks
"Yes go on, open it. I guarantee you that it is safe." Akari replies
Yamato walks near the box and as he opens it, a huge amount of energy releases from it inside Yamato.
"Now these blades have chosen you as their master. You may give them a name and call them and they will come running to you." A mysterious voice came
Yamato picks up the swords and two scabbards appear on his back and the swords reacted to it and rush inside the scabbards and go in camouflage.
"Woah, now I can carry them anywhere without an issue. And they are light too" Yamato says
"That's not even the best part. It's a magic sword means you can use elemental magic on it. I'll teach you that later so for now, head out already." Akari says
As Yamato went outside, all he saw were people running, spreading fire and also blood. When he gave it a clear look, he saw many demons chasing after people and even murdering them.
For a moment Yamato was surprised and sad and after a second when he heard a voice of a kid asking for help, his sadness turned into anger and his ideals turned down to revenge.
"So it's a demon attack huh? Must be that Almeida bastard. ill make sure to end the boss later but first, I got to pass the 1st floor of this dungeon." Yamato says with a smirk.
He then used his 1st form to speed up and in an instant, he was near a demon and kicked him as hard as he could.
His attack did drift the demon away but he was still standing unharmed.
"My leg nearly broke and yet that guy is still standing. How can I even beat it?" Yamato was annoyed and asked Akari.
"Are you a dumb ball? That attack might kill a human but it's not a human it's a demon, of course, it would take more than that," she replied
"Then why don't you tell me how to beat it?" Yamato counseled.
"Alright... Do as I say," she replied tiredly.
"Okay, teach me the tri--" as Yamato was finishing his words the demon attacked back and Yamato's reflexes saved him.
"You are an interesting one." the demon said with a delighted face.
"Cmon...you didn't have to talk yet. Now it makes it harder to kill you." Yamato says with a sigh.
"Try me, kid." The demon taunted.
Yamato then started to transfer all his mana on his fist which made it super tough making his punch weight more than 300 kg.
"Let me give it a shot then. Here I come." Yamato said as he ran towards the demon and punched directly on his heart which made a hole in his body making his heart explode.
*A Few Moments earlier*
"Well to make your punch give it a slice, you have to use a trick that most of the warriors in combat use. Though it depends on your emotions. So first you have to create red mana which means putting your rage aside and then you have to pull it towards any part of your body. Your rage will make you strong in this way." Akari guided Yamato on how to defeat the demon when he and Yamato were talking.
The body of the demon started to turn into ashes and left its axe behind.
"Hah serves you right. I wonder how much that axe will cost." Yamato wonders
"You should concentrate on becoming a hero rather than a businessman. And head up, you attracted many of his friends." Akari scolds Yamato after sensing the enemies.
"I'll take care of them in no time," Yamato says
He pulls his swords out of the scabbards and boosts towards the demons in an instant cutting all the necks under 3 seconds.
The sword he used, cut through like the bones and skin was nothing but wool as its sharpness was on another level.
"Introducing to you, thee swords of the ancient beast hero Ranon. Actually a heroine. The blade she used is called Ramnion. It was kept in secret for ages and now it has chosen you as its successor Yamato. It's an extremely powerful weapon that assists its wielder with the powers of its old user. Even I couldn't get my hands on it." Akari briefly describes the weapon with enjoyment.
"You are a bigger nerd than me you know that." Yamato teases Akari.
"shut up." She replies while pouting
"Now then, time to take care of the rest of the mess."
Yamato holds his swords in reverse grip and finishes all the leftover demons which were about 30 in one minute!
He then cleans the blood out of his sword and says
"That was a piece of cake haha."
Yamato realizes that all this time, the people around him were watching his play. And now Yamato was nervous.
"Seriously dude? Now you got to feel nervousness?" Akari complains.
"It's not my fault..." he says.
"Just DO THE INTRODUCTION AS WE PLANNED," Akari shouted.
"Ok ok fine." Yamato sighs.
Yamato takes a deep breath and as he was about to speak, one of the residents said.
"ARE YOU ONE OF THEM?"
"If you mean by those demons then I am not," he replies.
"THEN WHO ARE YOU?" the man asks
"I AM NOT A BAD PERSON, IN FACT, I AM HERE TO SAVE THIS TOWN FROM ANY OF THESE ATTACKS," Yamato replies.
"HOW CAN WE TRUST YO?" the man asks
"YOU CAN TRUST ME BY WATCHING ME SAVE YOU, AS OF NOW I INTRODUCE MYSELF AS THE PROTECTOR OF THIS TOWN, YOU MAY CALL ME........... THE ROUGH WIELDER."
Later that day
"Hey Yamato, stop making that desperate face and speak up. What is troubling you?" Akari asks
"You noticed huh. It's just, what I did today was basically murdering the residents of your world which means I killed people of your world and that just makes me a murderer. I feel like I have lost my human self for this cause. That's what's troubling me." Yamato explains
"Well it is true you killed the people of my world but the formula of being a hero is power is equal to sacrifice. You may have sacrificed your innocence and humanity for this cause but it is for the good so don't overthink. You did something good and that's what matters." Akari confronted.
"Thanks, Akari...but the fact doesn't change that I am now a murderer too," he says.
"Yeah, you have to bare it. There are more enemies coming and only you can defeat them," Akari replies
"Yeah, Afterall I am the new hero...."
