Chapter 197 I don't mean to cry

Yin Chen went back to the room and searched for the phone until she found it and brought it back with her.

The suit cases had been placed in the car trunk and she walked Liling out.

"Thanks for taking care of her. I know that she is really grateful even though this happened," Liling told her when they reached the car. She nodded and took a while to say," Liling, can't we do anything for them? They might have misunderstandings but they love each other. That one I'm sure."

"We all thought the same thing Ms Yin Chen. But it turns out that he has been playing with Li Fei's heart. He did it to avenge his wife's death." "That cannot be true," said Yin Chen. "Unbelievable, isn't it? Apparently, he has been dating Lee Meili and was just using Li Fei. Please do tell him that his plan succeeded and she is destroyed beyond repair. He can now live in peace with his girlfriend and we wish them a happy marriage with lots of healthy kids," she spoke sarcastically before adding," Please excuse me Ms Yin Chen." With that, she walked to the car and started it then left the place.

Yin Chen went back inside the house with lots of thoughts. She couldn't believe it. She knew Jin Liwei since he was a child and she knew that his feelings for Li Fei were sincere. She saw the way he looked at her, just like the same way he used to look at Shan or even more. Not to forget, he was devastated when she left.

If he indeed said that, she knew that he had a reason behind it.

Li Fei noticed that the maid followed her everywhere she went and always kept a close eye on her. "You don't have to keep an eye on me," she told her. "I'm sorry but I have to. I was ordered by my boss." She didn't reply and walked to the bedroom before grabbing a towel to head to the bathroom.

"Are you going to follow me in the bathroom too?" she asked looking at her. "No but I will have to check incase you take long," she said.

Going to the bathroom, she looked at her reflection in the mirror. She realized that she had never looked this terrible in her entire life, not even when she was in prison. She once again wished that she was left to serve her full sentence that way, it would have been better. Her eyes caught sight of the heart shaped pendant in her neck and she wondered why she was still wearing it.

Her hands reached for it and she pulled it off with great force that it left a mark on her skin and she threw it on the floor. She remembered the day he gave it to her, and she exhaled loudly through her lips.

Her mind started recollecting the moments they shared together and she couldn't believe that while she was keeping them as precious, he was laughing behind her back, mocking her. Unknowingly, tears were flowing from her eyes and she wondered when she was going to stop crying for that man. She had to hate him but she didn't know if she did. She just wanted to disappear from the surface of the earth and an idea popped in her mind. What if she throws herself in the way of the train? She will easily be crashed and end this miserable life of hers. But then her mother, will be the one to suffer because of her.

A while later, Liling came back and the chauffeur carried Li Fei's luggage into the house.

"Where's she?" Liling asked the maid. "She's in the bathroom. She assured me that she's not- " "I told you not to leave her alone!" she said before running to the bathroom and opened it to find Li Fei laying in the bathtub with her eyes open but thoughts so far.

Noticing the tears flowing from her eyes, she squatted besides her and said," I know this is hard for you but you should stop crying Li Fei. You're going to fall sick. You don't look healthy." "I don't mean to cry. Sometimes tears flow on their own without my knowledge," she said. "It's because you think about that man all the time. Let's distract your mind with something. We can go shopping, we can go watch the movies, we can visit the museum, anything you like," she proposed.

"I just want to die," she replied and Liling pursed her lips. "Again with that?" she asked. "I won't do it though, for my family," she said. "Then eat before you die of hunger. You've grown so thin in just two days," she said. "I will eat but you should go back to your house. You have a husband and a business to run." "I won't leave you in this condition. Jing Yue is okay with it and the business is being ran by people I trust."

The next morning, Li Fei went to the kitchen and Liling came tiptoeing behind her to see what she was intending to do.

"I promised not to kill myself," Li Fei said letting her know that she had seen her.

"I know but I can't help to get worried," she said. "You shouldn't be. Liling, you should go back to your husband. I'm perfectly fine."

"And I said, I'm not leaving you." "I get but you should at least go and check on your husband and the business. You shouldn't pause your life because of me."

Thinking about it, Liling said," Okay. I will rush home and have a change of clothes then go check on Jing Yue before heading to the restaurant. But I will be back before you know it so, don't do anything stupid."

"Trust me, I won't," she said and Liling ordered a number of food then stocked it in the fridge.

"Make sure to have your meals on time, Li Fei. I will know if you didn't," she said after the two had breakfast.
