Chapter 192 I don't believe a word you're saying

When he came out, she quickly approached him and blocked his way then said, "Don't you think you owe me an explanation?" "About?" he asked nonchalantly. "About! About everything Jin Liwei. You left yesterday morning saying that you were coming back. I waited for you all night. You didn't call or text to let me know that you were not coming back nor did you answer your phone. I slept in the living room waiting for you and when you come back, you simply have your way with me. Do you take me for a fool?!"

He walked past her and went to the closet then got casual clothes to change into. She followed and watched him get dressed, not bothering to answer nor look at her. After, he walked away and made way to the study. Li Fei who was following right behind him asked," Why ain't you answering?! Don't my words make sense to you?!"

When he reached the door, he turned to look at her and said," I don't want to be disturbed." With that, he closed the door right in her face before locking it and she remained standing frozen on the spot.

He had never ignored her even when she threw tantrums and did foolish things.

What could she have done?

Jin Liwei leaned against the closed door and closed his eyes then exhaled heavily. This was the most difficult task he had ever done. How it tortured him treating her like this. He couldn't imagine how devastated she must be feeling right now. He loved her so much yet he couldn't be with her. He couldn't embrace her, even though he died to. He was a monster, who didn't deserve her at all.

He realized that mistreating her was going to be so difficult almost impossible and thus, he decided to go with the second option.

For the whole day, Li Fei had decided to stay away from the room and she declared that she wasn't going back not until he came to apologise to her. She sat at the backyard of the house all along trying to recall if she had done something to anger him but nothing crossed her mind. Could there be another woman? But no, it couldn't be. She had complete trust in him that she was the only woman in his eyes.

"I'm sorry for the interruption but I've been meaning to ask," Yin Chen's voice broke her from her trance. She turned to look at Yin Chen and replied," It's fine." "I don't mean to be nosy but, did you two fight?" she asked.

Taking a deep breath, she replied, "I honestly don't know Yin Chen. I don't know if we are fighting. I don't know anything at all."

"The young master seemed strange when he came back in the morning. I hope everything is okay."

Not knowing what to reply, Li Fei asked," Has he eaten anything?" "Just like you, he said he has no appetite," she replied and she nodded.

"Please excuse me," Yin Chen said and left.

Li Fei continued sitting in same spot thinking. Checking her phone, she realized it was three yet he hadn't bothered to look for her. She felt her eyes sting with the tears she had been trying to suppress and soon, her cheeks were stained. Was he getting tired of her?

When it clocked seven in the evening, Li Fei was beyond disappointed. For the whole day, he hadn't bothered to search for her. It has never happened. He always doted on her and couldn't allow her to leave his side for a minute. She now realized that she must have done something so bad to him and she was yet to find out.

Walking back to the bedroom, she opened the door and found that he wasn't there then she went to the study. She caught sight of him sitting while smoking and she frowned. She had stopped him from smoking and he ceased doing it but here he was.

Walking to stand in front of him across the table, she looked at him and asked," Are you going to tell me what's wrong?"

Not getting a response, she was raged and said," Will you answer me?! What did I do?!"

Finally looking at her, he said," I already told you that I didn't want to be disturbed."

"And I will disturb you!" she snapped. "You leave the house, don't come back for the whole night and when you finally show up, you behave as though you're so mighty! If there's a problem, bring it on the table and we sort it out, period!"

He stood up and walked out of the study making her follow after him.

"I'm talking to you, don't ignore me like an idiot. What the hell happened!" she shouted and when they reached the bedroom, he turned to look at her and said," What happened is, I've been eagerly waiting for this day." She looked at him questioningly before asking," Which day?"

He took a while to say," This day, when you will get to know the truth. The day you will get to know that everything has been a lie. That there's nothing like you and I. Everything has been a trap, and a plan for revenge."

Not understanding what he was saying, she said," I'm not getting you."

He turned his body such that his back faced her and he said," As I said, I planned everything. To make you believe that I had fallen in love with you such that this day could be as hurtful as it was for me, when I lost my Shan." A while later, he heard her chuckle and she said," Nice trial Jin Liwei. But I don't believe a word you're saying."

He cursed under his breath. He knew something like this was going to happen, but he had to make it as believable as possible. He turned to look at her and said," This is exactly what I wanted. For you to have absolute trust in me so that I could break you to the point where you couldn't repair yourself. If you think I'm kidding, you can ask Jing Yue. He has always been knowing about the entire plan."
