54 Forever Fall(2)

"Hey big oath, See anything?" Terroriser asks Nogla as they continue to walk into the red forest. "What the hell are you collecting?"

"Samples." Nogla replied. His eyes constantly scan left and right at the clearing where they stopped.

"Damn, I know its samples, but for what use?" Brian grumbled, he slapped away an insect that landed on his neck. The two were currently wearing their Diamond Armors in case they were encountering any Beast. Terroriser held a new Shotgun, the EVA-8 Shotgun, also known as the EVA-8, EVA, or EVA-8 Auto, is an automatic shotgun that appears in Titanfall, Titanfall 2, Titanfall Online, Apex Legends and Apex Legends Mobile.

Nogla on the other hand, lugs along a M600 Spitfire fully-automatic light machine gun from the game Apex Legends, that is attached to an exoskeleton frame that he wears from a Cod Advanced Warfare addon, with several large pouches containing ammunition for his weapon.

"To study."

Brian raised a brow. "I never knew you were interested in that nerdy shit, you do know that I'm a robot and could appraise that easily?" 

"Nah, don't need your help, these leaves seem so interesting..."

Rolling his eyes, Terroriser gave up trying to chat with Nogla and continued to move forward. He then picks a leaf off a small tree. Most of the leaves of the plant life in this Dungeon are reddish in color with no hint of any color.

"It's been a few hours we've been in this place, maybe you should rest, Nogla."

*Slap!*

"God fucking damn it, these annoying little insects." Nogla waves away the insects buzzing around his face, he hears Brian's words and nods. He then leans against a tree and looks around the clearing, pulls out a Mr. Beast Feastables Chocolate Bars and starts chewing on it.

As the two stay for a brief silence, Terroriser detected something.

"Nogla," Terroriser said in his serious tone. "Nogla, I detect something 100 meters from our position, it is watching us... menacingly."

"What?" Nogla jolted up. "Where?"

"I am not sure." Terroriser slowly turns on the spot to face towards the forest. His cybernetic eyes peer intently trying to find the source of his unease.

"Are you sure?" Nogla fingered his weapon's safety. He casually walked towards Terroriser and readied his weapon.

"Quickly now, let's go." Terroriser led the way with Nogla covering the rear. The two quickly march through the forest, climbing over massive tree roots and in certain areas, dense foliage.

"Nogla," Terroriser warned. "I can detect its movements and it's definitely following us."

"Shit." Nogla cursed. "What should we do?"

"Simple... we charge at the enemy!" Standing up, Terroriser pushed Nogla away to travel faster.

"Yololololololo!"

"Huh, great planning!"

Like a bunch of idiots, the two charge through the dense foliage and emerge into a field of grass. The wind causes the grass to sway like waves. Terroriser scanned the surroundings. The closest treeline is about 200m away. 

"I feel the enemy is on the other side! We charge forward!"

As Nogla nods at Brian, the two quickly dash across the field in less than 2 seconds before the two arrive at the edge of the forest. As they made it there, Terroriser took out a flash grenade and threw it towards the dark forest in front of him.

*Bang!* *Riiiiing!*

"Rawr!"

Suddenly a huge roar erupted from the forest, causing Terroriser and nogla to pause and look carefully at what's in front of them. Then, a wolf the size of a bus leaps out from the foliage and lands several meters in front of the two. Seeing the beast, Nogla stared at it in amazement.

"Um Brian, I'm a dog person and I think I don't like to—"

"Stop acting like a pussy Nogla, in this world, it's kill or be killed, now let's do this shit!"

Cutting off by Terroriser as he began to run around the beast. Signing underneath his breath, Nogla had no choice anyway as he ran towards the giant wolf.

The giant wolf-like creature in front of the two, has 2 horns like a buffalo, and gray-red colored fur coat, making it seemingly bend in with the surroundings. It made a leap towards Nogla who, following Terroriser, was running around the beast in a circle at incredible speeds.

Terroriser flicked his safety off his Eva-8 Auto Shotgun and took sight on the creature. The 2x red dot sight mounted on the weapons seems to enlarge the creature furthermore. Once he notices Nogla out of the line of fire, he triggers his weapon, firing a huge burst into it. This time, instead of the C type rounds, nor Armor Piercing rounds, he was loaded with his Hellsing ARM Casull rounds.

The Arm Casull bullets slam directly into the center of the creature, causing it to tumble. Sparks and scarlet blood burst out from the impacts. The creature yelped in a very dog-like manner and as it rose up, it shook its body causing specks of blood to scatter.

"What the!?" Terrorider exclaimed. "The fuck! Those are bloody rounds from the Hellsing Arm Casull, they are several times stronger than a .50 Calibre for fuck sake! It just literally shrugged it off!" Pissed, Terroriser continued firing at the creature.

By this time, Nogla made a distance from the Wolf. He took a deep breath and braced himself as he hoisted his M600 Spitfire and fired a stream of bullets at 600 rounds per minute. The tracers from the LMG were like a laser, striking the creature, the rounds only pierce through a few millimeters through its skin, but for a few seconds of getting struck by hundreds of bullets, its bullets were starting to tear it to meat chunks.

As the echo of Nogla's LMG died down, Terroriser cheered. "Hot damn! I need one of those myself!" Terroriser swapped out a new mag with his partial empty mag from his Shotgun before curiously using appraisal on the beast.

Description: Breezy Wolves are common predators that live within the Forever Falls. With its dense fur coating with wind magic, it acts as a natural armor to absorb much of the kinetic energy and disperses it away. Which means it could reduce any damage done to them from fast projectiles. Other than the fur, its hide is quite tough as a normal vehicle but is easier to cut with a blade or shot through with a more powerful projectile.

"No wonder our guns have little effect, these dogs' fur is stopping bullets with its wind magic shit!" Terroriser said. "But its skin is only as strong as Wood though.

"Hmmm, so this means that bayonets, knives, or any close-quarter weapons are more efficient than guns due to the fur coat of the wolves?" Nogla said before stating. "Or we should hit it with a big gun."

"No shit, Sherlock." Terroriser rolls his eyes. It seems he needs to buy weapons in his System besides guns.

"Um, Brian, it's not over yet." Nogla's calm voice interrupts Brian's thinking. "More incoming."

In the distance, sounds of something heavy crashing through the foliage could be heard. Snarls and growls seemed to grow nearer and louder. A sudden howl heralded the arrival of a hundred more giant wolves, each as huge as a car or minibus!

"Oh shit," Terroriser saw a whole army of wolves appear at the opposite side of the field. Though the two could kill many of these things as he and Nogla's stats were equivalent to <E-> rank Adventurers (Lv.28), but weren't promoted that from the Guild yet, they were still gonna get overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of these wolves.

"Run bitch!" He yells at Nogla. "Nogla, you big fucking oath! Covering fire!"

Nogla opens fire with his weapon and backs off slowly. He directs the spray of tracers onto the nearest and largest wolf in the group. Sparks, smoke, shreds of meat and fur flew as the tracers came into contact. Seeing his target dropping, he sweeps his fire to the closest wolf. Clumps of dirt and torn grass flew as the bullets were stronger than any Earth's bullets wrought destruction in its path.

The Breezy wolf roars in agony and raises its front paws to protect its venerable face, as bullets slam into its body. The other wolves quickly leap into action and split off towards the left and right respectively to escape the storm of bullets from Nogla.

For the past few minutes dodging attacks from the wolves and the heavy fire from Nogla manages to suppress and take down twenty of the wolves but the numbers are still large as other wolves moved too fast for him to get a good lock on them.

For Terroriser, it was harder than he thought facing an endless amount of them. "Fuck! How much of this dog shit is there?" Terroriser cursed. He killed a large number of wolves with his sword and his Shotgun but the numbers of wolves never gave them a break . "Damn it! You bunch of dogs! Play dead!"

Nogla ceased his fire, turned and ran towards Terroriser. Upon reaching his side, he turns around and covers Terroriser's flank and fires at the other rapidly approaching wolves. He fires a short burst and waits after the wolf makes a dodge by leaping to the side then he opens fire at where he estimates the wolf will land. The laser beam-like tracers tore the area where the wolf landed into smoke and blood, causing a small fire in the grass field.

Finally, the two manage to bring down all of their targets, just around them. Hundreds of corpses of wolves crumpled down, many dying of internal injuries. One wolf not too far from the two still lives, even in its dying breath, the giant wolf snarls and rage, it struggles to raise up and its limbs claw desperately in its attempts to move its body. Slowly the hate in its eyes faded as Terroriser and Nogla watched slowly stop moving.

"Any more?" Nogla asked. He reloads his Light Machine Gun and crouches down keeping his weapon in a ready position.

"I didn't detect anything, it seems we killed an entire family in this territory of theirs." Terroriser replied. He lowers his weapon and checks his ammunition counter.

"Phew, thought that last one was gonna get me." Nogla walks up and pokes one wolf carcass with his smoking rifle barrel. "These guys are tough! I'm using AP rounds!" He bends over and examines the wolf body before using his hands to pull something out from its fur.

"Holy shit." He holds up a complete bullet, with the Titanium alloy core tip slightly flatten. "This shit is supposed to penetrate up to 14mm thick steel plates!"

Terroriser picks the bullet from Nogla and examines it. Then he walks 1 full circle around the countless bodies and gauges. "Roughly 5 meters long, 2.5 meters tall." He taps the horns growing out from the head of the wolf. "Solid ivory."

"Damn, we bagged a big one eh?" Nogla grins. "Think they allow us to mount its head up in the Guild?" He poses with one foot on top of the giant wolf like a big game hunter. "We can make big bucks with this."

"Yeah, yeah, you better get down, you look retarded."

"I always have been."

"Okay, but we should continue, this is just the beginning of our little adventures." Terroriser said with a slight smile.
