The Child's Relation To Vlad

The child looks down at me and smiles before heading over to the others.

"D...Don't....Y....You.....Dare.....Touch...Them." I manage to say. It would seem that what ever he used to paralyze me isn't strong enough.

He walks over to Jenny and looks her up and down before walking over to Alice and stopping.

"What is this? A witch? You sure have some interesting friends Kamen. I wonder how you would feel if I killed her?" He says turning around making eye contact.

"I.....Will.....Fucking....Kill....You."

The child sneers. "If you could, you would have. You're too weak. There's nothing you can do to stop me." He says as we hear a wolf howl.

"Alexander!?" I think to myself as the child seems shocked that a werewolf would be so close. He looks down at me and notices the look on my face. "Oh I see now, another friend of yours? Peculiar, a vampire and a werewolf. Sworn enemies, yet here he comes to save you all." He says as he smiles and walks towards the door.

"If I can reach my finger and take this damned ring off, then I could do something." Slowly, I can feel my hand move to my finger. It doesn't seem like I have enough strength to pull the ring off. Suddenly, a figure flies through the house and hits the wall.

The child lays still indented in the wall, Alexander comes walking in. He looks down at me and then the others. Anger washes over his face. "Did this little bastard do this to you? I've been gone for not a full week and you go and let a child do this to you."

"He's not really a child...He's...A member of a group that hate's Vlad." I say as he looks at my finger. "What's with that ring?" He asks curious.

"It limits my power, that's why I couldn't do anything. Please help me take it off."

Alexander leans down and rips the ring off my finger and soon the pressure around the house feels heavy. Getting up onto my feet I turn to see the child standing up and sneering at me.

"Even with your dog friend, you won't be able to hurt me."

"Alexander, take the others out of the house as fast as you can. I'll deal with him now." I say as I slowly walk towards the child.

Alexander nods his head and takes everyone out one by one, until it's just the child and I. "If you're going to be serious about this, I assume I should too." He says as his form suddenly changes into that of a full grown adult.

"Normally, people don't like the idea of hitting children." He says cracking his neck.

"Kneel." I say in a cold and demanding voice.

The man suddenly feels his knees fighting against him. "What is this?! What did you do to me?!" The man tries to fight the urge.

Alexanders eyes go wide. "You have the authority." He says in a whisper. "What's the authority?" I ask curious.

Alexander swallows hard. "The authority is something that was told as an old tale, no one had seen it before. It's said that in different generations one vampire was granted the authority over other vampires. Much like a King would." Alexander soon realizes what has happened.

"You've evolved haven't you?" I look over and give him a half serious smile. "You can say that. But why would I have it? I wasn't originally a vampire."

Alexander scratches his head. "It seems that something in your blood says otherwise. Are you sure that you don't have any vampire blood within you before you were fully turned?"

"I...I know that I didn't have any, I would've known. Wouldn't I have?" I say out loud, wondering if Jenny knew something I didn't.

The man tries to move again, turning over to him I walk towards him and grab his head and lock eyes with him.

"Who gave you permission to move?" Picking the man up I slam him down onto the ground. "Stay."

Moving towards Jenny, I cut my finger and let the blood flow into her mouth. Soon she can be seen moving. "Kamen! Wait, where is the child?" She asks confused.

Jenny follows my finger over towards the man. "That was the child? Who is he?"

"I don't know his name, but I have a question for you, tell me the truth." I ask in a serious tone. Jenny swallows hard before asking me what the question was.

"Were my parents human?"

Jenny looks shocked that I would ask that question. She shakes her head. "Your parents were hybrids from what they told me. But I think that they were full fledged vampires. But for some reason, they lost their strength and soon acted like hybrids."

"So, what you're telling me is that I wasn't fully human?!" I yell out.

"I'm sorry Kamen, but no. For some reason, your vampiric genes were lying dormant within your body and once I 'turned' you, they finally awoke." Jenny says with a tear running down her cheek.

The man is finally up off the ground and struggling to reach the back door. Seeing this I walk back over to the man and kick his legs forward dropping him to the ground once more before crouching down infront of his face.

"You're going to tell me who you are, and where your Headquarters is."

The man laughs. "Or what? You're going to hurt me? I'm so scared." He says as he spits in my face. Tired of the games, I slowly release the pent up pressure inside of my body, dropping Jenny and Alexander to their knees.

"If you do not tell me, I will make the rest of your life a living hell. You will never know peace, you will never experience the feeling of leaving this house. Your miserable life will be filled with such pain and torture, that you will wish that you were dead. I will rip each finger nail from your hands, slowly tear the skin from your body and then I will slowly cut each appendage off and force feed them to you. Then, it will repeat for the rest of your life. Now you have a choice." I say with such a demonic voice that Jenny and Alexander look afraid, like if they do the wrong thing they'll regret it.

The man starts freaking out. "I'll tell you what I know, please, don't hurt me. I promise I'll tell you."

I put my hand on the mans head and force it into the ground and knocking him out. "Alexander, Jenny. Take him to the basement and watch him. I need some fresh air."

Walking out the door, they exchange looks. "What was that all about? I haven't seen him like that since Vestis." Jenny says worried. "I don't know, and I don't want to find out. Let's get this done." Alexander says as he starts dragging the man, soon realizing that the man feels like he weighs a ton.

Outside of the house I take a deep breath in. A smell catches in my nose. 'Sigh'

I turn to see Vlad standing to the left of me. "Hello there, Vlad. Can I help you?"

Vlad looks around eyes squinted. "What was that pressure about? It felt like you were in a battle and pretty pissed."

Explaining what happened, Vlad rubs his temples. "Those guys. Great." He says sounding exhausted.

"You know about these people?" I ask.

He nods his head. "Yes, unfortunately. These people, or vampires. Were once apart of my kingdom before attempting to take the throne for themselves. I was a young and naive King. They almost succeeded. Now, generations upon generations, they all put their malice and hate into going after those who would ally with me. It would seem that they're closer than I thought."

Vlad looks me up and down with squinted eyes. "Something about you seems different than before." Laughing, I tell him about what I just found out.

Upon hearing that I have the 'authority' Vlads jaw drops, he attempts to pull his hair out. "Why did I have to attack him before?! If I would've known I would have been more hospitable towards him and his group." He thinks to himself.

Turning around I see his internal strife. "Is something wrong?" I ask. Vlad makes eye contact with me. "Do you not realize what this means?" Shaking my head, Vlad sighs.

"It means that you have the potential to reach God status sometime in the future with the right training."

Vlads eye twitches. "Why am I telling him this?!" He thinks to himself.

"Having alittle trouble Vlad?" I ask laughing at him.

He glares at me as to say, 'Watch it'.

"But who would be able to teach me? Is there anyone that can?"

Vlad rubs his chin. "There maybe someone that can, it's a long shot; but there's a person that helped me get where I can. Maybe they can help you." He says as he pulls a piece of paper out and writes down the name and place of the person who can help.

"What ever you do, don't mention my name. I really hated working with her." He says as he disappears into his own shadow.
