"But Brother Magnus could not have attempted to kill me. Brother Izaak shall use his authority. This feels so wrong. Brothers are supposed to save their sister," Lillian said with a troubled glance.

"Magnus doesn't like us intervening in his in-laws family matters. Do you understand, Lily? Next time you do it, he may not hesitate to pierce the stake through your chest. So, better stay away from him," Izaak suggested to her and he drank the wine.

"Alora is the reason why Brother Magnus treated me in such a terrible way," Lillian asserted.
