The moment Alora's blood reached Magnus's mouth, he knew all the control he had on him for not tasting her blood was lost completely. The color of his pupils changed into red ones, his canines grew bigger as he was ready to drink from her. 

Usually, it would not happen with him once he would drink the fresh blood. However, Alora's blood scent was strange. It was as sweet as honey. He brushed away her hair from one side of her neck, exposing it to his fangs. Everything happened so quickly that Alora didn't even get the time to stop him. 

"Ahhh!" Alora whimpered in pain the moment his sharp canines entered her skin. Her eyes widened and her pupils grew larger. Her hands were tightly pressed against his chest, but she didn't protest.
