600. Sunlight
Mauve watched Jean twist his fingers together as he explained and she adjusted, sitting upright.
"…we would have to try something different," he was saying.
She nodded, agreeing with his words."Whatever it is, I am willing to try it out," Mauve said.
"As long as there is no risk," Jael added without missing a beat.
She glanced at him and she could clearly see his stern expression. She didn't need anyone to tell her, he wasn't going to let her try anything he didn't trust.
"There shouldn't be," Jean whispered. "It's not anything strange."
"Not the ointment?" Jael asked.
"Jael," Mauve called. She couldn't believe he brought it up. She could clearly recall how badly Jean felt when she had a terrible reaction to the ointment.
Jean's expression fell immediately. "No and I am really sorry about that," he apologized again.
