195 195. An Audience

Half of Jael's on the bed with his arm under his head as he stared at Mauve. He moved into this position as Mill left. It was so weird to have in the corner just staring.

"You don't have to wait for me, I'll join you in your room as soon as I finish here," Mauve said and folded her legs as she stared at him.

"It's no problem, I can wait." He said and shrugged.

"I know you can but it is almost time for my bath." She mumbled.

"So," he said and lifted his body. He scooted closer to her. "It wouldn't be the first time."

She bent her head down. "I don't recall," she lied.

"I do," he replied and laid back on the bed. "That settles it."

"No, it doesn't." She yelled and stomped her foot on the bed.

Jael turned his head to look at her. "Would you prefer I wasn't here?" He asked.

Mauve didn't waste any time nodding.

He squinted his eyes, turned away from her, and closed them. "I am not leaving though."
