[Celia's POV]

People get greedier and cannot be satisfied, which was what came to Celia's mind when she pondered upon the events. Now that she was somewhat normal, she couldn't help but regret coming here. She wished that she could meet the witch beforehand but even then… even then Lucian would end up haring her, wouldn't he? Because of the deal. Also, what was the witch going on about the she owed something?

Celia sighed and lay down on the bed. The bedding was softer than what she had slept on previously. The pillows sank under the weight of her head, the covers felt as if they weren't even there and yet provided warmth.

She closed her eyes and tried to sleep. She knew sleep wouldn't really come to her tonight, but she had to try. Tomorrow would be different for her.

She was somehow lulled by sleep despite her initial thoughts and soon she found herself in a dream.
