Chapter 2

Aasira's pov

I sat in the dark corner. Everything was so quiet that you could only hear the girls whimpers, then a guard unlocked the cell.

"Abomination, king wants to see you." The guard said finally opening the cell, giving me a look.

I stood up but didnt walk closer to him, keeping my head down. I dont want to see that dumbasses face, he killed an innocent girl and for what? because he was angry?

"The king is very impatient this morning." the guard said tapping his toe. I continued to ignore him and stared down at the floor.

He whistled to get the other guards attention.

The other two guards walked in and dragged me out of the cell and down the hallway that eventually led to stairs, they dragged me up the long stairs that eventually led to the arena balcony.

I was dragged onto the balcony by two guards and there the devil sat in his throne facing the arena, the same throne he sat in when he watched me take down the 'hulk'.

"she's here sir" a young girl said walking past me with a glass cup filled with a green liquor, she walked over to him and sat on his lap. It's only been a couple of hours since he killed his last pet and he already has another one.

The guard pushed me closer to their king. his arms were wrapped around the young girl as he sniffed her hair. He purposely did this to get me mad. I hate that it's working!

Now I could clearly see his face. He had

white-blond hair, beautiful long eye lashes, rosy soft lips, pale skin, natural red amber eyes, I could see why girls fall for him, everything about him was perfect.

An urge inside of me wanted to hug him and never let him go, cry in his chest, and spill out my guts, listen to his advice, feel his soft lips on mine. But I still hate him for killing that innocent girl!

"What do you want. I would really like to go back to my cell."

"No need to be angry." He said calmly looking at me with his red devil eyes. He had the sword I threw at him. I ignored his comment and rolled my eyes.

"mind reader?" I finally brought myself to asked as he kissed the young girls hand.

"I have multiple abilities, would you like to see?" It sounded like he was joking but he really wasn't.

He turned back to the girl. He looked deeply into her hazel eyes, concentrating. She looked at me, her eyes were as green as emerald.

He then pulled her closer to him, grabbing her chin, lifting it up, he leaned in close to her neck and sunk his sharp fangs into her neck.

She didnt even scream just sat still, didn't flinch at his touch. You monster.  His eyes widened with shock and instantly stopped, he let the young girl fall to the floor in front of his feet. She laid on the floor, barely breathing. Two guards picked her up and helped her stand. He held his hand out for me to take it. To hell with him I'm not going to be one of his dumb slaves.

I pulled my hand away. He quickly grabbed my wrist bringing me forward. We both stared into each other's eyes. His touch shocked my bare skin, this wasn't normal. He was concentrating. He's trying to use his mind control on me! But why wasn't it working? It didn't take him this long with the other girl.

We both were shocked. His mind control didn't work on me. "H-How?" He stuttered.

I pulled my wrist out from his grasp.

"See you in the arena." I spat and turned around

"See you later my little warrior." He said loud enough for me to hear.

The young girl pushed me back. I grabbed her throat and looked back to the king.

"Learn to control your pets" I threw her to the ground as he smiled at me.

the guards tried grabbing my arms but I refuse to be touched by any vampire. I walked back down the stairs and hallway to my cell with two guards walking behind me. Once I got to my cell a guard unlocked it and I walked in and got comfortable on the floor.

Darkness slowly filled my eyes.
