The Pain Of Noah

"I can't see Noah?" Kiara stared at the butler. She couldn't believe what she had just heard.

Kiara knew that Noah was there, she wanted to talk about their departure later to the capital. Strange, her feelings were not calm after hearing that she couldn't see Noah.

"Master Duke is not well. The Lady must not see the Duke now." Jackson said in a stern voice, even though he was smiling.

Selma, who was beside Kiara, nodded when she met an eye with Jackson. Everyone here knows it. There was a time when their master was completely inviolable. As the snow gets colder with the perfect moon, it's like drowning in the darkness of the night.

In the silence, they all usually behave more busy, even this is the strangest they have ever felt.

How could the things that happened at that time even happen now?

Kiara and Selma turned, they headed in the direction where Kiara's room was.

"Though I think our relationship yesterday was okay ... He couldn't have avoided me, right, Selma?" asked Kiara with an unsure look in her eyes.

Kiara felt so strange. When she couldn't meet Noah, she thought that something strange could happen. There was a brief gap in her heart that made her feelings seem to be floating in a void place.

"The Duke doesn't hate you at all, Lady Kiara. True as Sir Jackson said, the Duke was ill. You may not know it, but inside Winterridger, there are those who say it's like a curse."

Selma wasn't very comfortable talking about it. She scratched her head slightly with an index finger. If she misspoke, it would be dangerous for her. She just said something common.

"What kind of pain?" asked Kiara curiously. She was a little regretful that she had never talked about Noah. During this time, Noah often heard her stories, but she didn't hear Noah's stories.

"It's not known for certain, lady. But Duke was able to faint from the pain. The rest of it was a secret known only to Jackson's butler and also Garter's knight chief."

Kiara momentarily stopped as they passed through the outer passage of this magnificent castle. The snow kept blowing and the cold air was so pronounced. The snowmen they made a few days ago are still there. Standing firmly, as if he were the master of this snowy day.

"I see. It must be top secret then."

"Yes, I beg you to understand about the Duke's condition."

Selma lowered her head. She then smiled at Kiara and invited Kiara to speed up the footsteps. They should soon arrive at the castle where Kiara is located. On the outside, once it is cold, the hot water thrown will become ice.

The fireplace made the temperature in his room feel warm. The sound of rubbing branches on snowy days he had heard many times, and he had become accustomed to it.

Kiara still woke up and read the book very quietly on her mattress.

"Is Noah okay?" Kiara tilted her head slightly. She looked towards the door as if Noah were there. She thought for a while about Noah.

He is a powerful man and can defeat many monsters. Can even talk to the fairies. What kind of pain can make Noah unable to get out of his room?

"It must be a very severe pain. You must be in pain because it's Noah."

Kiara exhaled her breath. She recalled something she had made in the original world.

"Selma," she called in a not-so-big voice.

"Yes, lady Kiara?" Selma walked into Kiara's room with a slight bow. She showed a very good, polite attitude.

"Can you give me a thick thread? If it can have some color."

Selma looked at the smiling Kiara. She immediately agreed to what Kiara wanted.

When she returned, she had brought a thread of three colors: white, red, and also black. Kiara thinks this is a very appropriate color once and the thickness of the thread is also very appropriate.

"What do you want to make, Lady Kiara?" asked Selma curiously.

"I'm going to make a bracelet for healing. In my world, there used to be bracelets made with such expectations. I hope Noah can get better soon."

Selma immediately smiled from ear to ear. She felt the warmth emanating from Kiara.

"Lady Kiara I'll help Lady."

Kiara nodded. " Yes, you can help me cut the thread."

They started making the bracelet that Kiara wanted until almost midnight. Finally, the bracelet had been finished with a little plus snow-shaped jewelry.

"I almost can't make this bracelet anymore. It's been a long time since I made it."

Selma looked at Kiara, she was curious why Kiara had made it in the past.

"I used to volunteer for sick children, and I gave them artificial bracelets. I studied for one week, Selma."

"Wow, you're so great. They must be very happy with what you gave, lady Kiara."

Kiara just smiled slightly. He rubbed this finished bracelet.

"Let's hope Noah will wear this bracelet I made."

The next morning, Selma and Kiara return to the main castle, where Noah is. Jackson, who saw Kiara's arrival, was shocked.

"What's wrong, lady Kiara?" he asked in a polite voice. He looked at Selma as if he was about to scold Selma, who couldn't prevent the lady she served from being here.

"Please give this to Noah. This is a healing bracelet made by myself. Ask him to wear it, but if he doesn't want to wear it, please just make it."

A little heavy Kiara said such a thing, but she showed a smile on her face that made Jackson startled.

"Okay, Lady Kiara. I'll pass this on to the Duke."

After that, Kiara and Selma leave the main castle. The two of them walked into the dining room to start today's activities with breakfast.

In Noah's room, Jackson had given Noah a bracelet that was standing by his desk. His bloodshot eyes kept watching fixedly the bracelet he had received from the woman who had pulled his heart.
