Secret

Last night Noah was so shocked by what he was doing, he felt extreme pain all over his body. The fangs that he had been hiding actually appeared and his condition was very severe. 

The medicine he usually eats is useless. When Kiara touched his body, he felt an electric shock that made his instincts even wilder. He attacked Kiara, biting her neck until Kiara passed out. 

[Sweet... It feels so good... calm down...]

Noah finally managed to come to his senses and realize what he was doing. He rubbed his lips and hugged Kiara tightly. 

"I'm sorry, Kiara... But you are my mate..." 

Noah felt so guilty, but he couldn't let go of Kiara, either. 

He carried Kiara's body into his room, placed it there, and then the bite scar wound when it was sucked by Noah disappeared completely. 

"Forget the one just now, Kiara... You haven't been able to accept it."

The memory is very clear, that's why Kiara has been glancing at Noah's gaze over and over again. 

"Is there something weird on my face?" Noah questioned, making Kiara stammer. She said something that she thought was ridiculous as hell. 

"What else is on your face except good looks? Ha.. ha.."

I swear, Kiara felt that she was doing something very stupid. But Kiara's remark made a smile on Noah's face. 

[Is that really that guy...?] 

Kiara shook her head. She didn't want to think about it anymore. Maybe yesterday she really had a dream with genuine feelings. Kiara's forehead twitched because of that. 

"You have to finish your meal, Kiara. You look more and more taking care of it." Noah's attention always pleases Kiara, Noah's obvious declaration of love makes Kiara sometimes feel that she is very special. It made her embarrassed and happy, but for now, she only assumed that Noah was her friend. 

"Yes, Noah's food today is also very good." 

Noah put down his knife and fork, and he looked at Kiara quietly. And, of course, a smile on his face. 

"Kiara, what kind of food do you like?" he asked. 

"I'm not a voter, Noah. As long as the food is worth eating and delicious, I will eat it." 

"It means that during this time my chef's cooking is not feasible and delicious because you eat a little. I have to change my chef then."  

Kiara shook her head directly. 

"Don't do that, Noah. This is because I'm just getting used to it in this world." 

"You're sure? If you want, I can change the chef. Just say your wish." 

There was no doubt that Noah would do just that, but Kiara felt uncomfortable. A person's life is in his hands. Kiara really knows how difficult it is to find a job and work. This is also just her fault. The chef has been cooking very seriously and deliciously. 

"This chef's cooking is really good, Noah." 

"Really? I don't see the evidence." That sweet smile inexplicably felt like it was a threat. 

".. Well, I will eat a lot as evidence." 

"Then all right." 

With Noah's smiling face back holding his knife and fork, he is seen enjoying his breakfast, while Kiara feels Noah has framed her. 

After they had breakfast together, Noah got a whisper from Garter, which made Noah's face look cold. He looked towards Kiara, trying to hide his coldness just now by bringing up a smile to his face. 

"Kiara, it's a pity that I can't accompany you, I have a very urgent matter. Maybe later in the afternoon I will see you." 

"If you can't, don't force yourself, Noah. I know you're very busy." Kiara smiled, after all what they were meeting about. She was even about to end this just now and rest in her room.

"No, I will definitely come to you."

Kiara didn't answer a bit. She let Noah pass from her. She knew that there was really something urgent going on.

In Noah's room, a red letter with gold ink was on his desk. 

Noah's face was not calm at all. He was very upset about the arrival of this letter.

"Find the traitor. How could this news be spread?" 

Noah stared at Garter fiercely, he felt that Garter was not doing his job properly. But it was all too late. The news of the arrival of the Kiara had already been heard by the imperial side. It means that they will be here sooner or later, just to see Kiara. 

Noah had already covered the news about Kiara, he knew very well that Kiara's arrival would definitely make the imperial party curious and disrupt his time with Kiara. Although he has repeatedly declared his love for Kiara, Kiara does not accept his love at all. Not yet. 

Noah squeezed his hand  firmly once, and then the atmosphere there tightened even more.

Kiara returned to her room. Selma deftly opened the door just now and was behind Kiara' back. 

"Is the city center so far from here, Selma?" 

"By riding a horse-drawn carriage, it only takes an hour and a half, Lady Kiara." 

Kiara was silent for a few seconds, which let Selma know that the lady she was serving was again feeling bored to be here. 

Kiara thinks about this world. At least she must know this well. She is sure that she only knows this world very little. Kiara stood in front of the vast window. There were a few birds flying with white-brown wings. 

"Like a bird..."

"What's the lady?" 

Kiara shook her head. 

"Nothing." 

Now that Kiara was sitting on the warm sofa, she looked at Selma before opening her mouth. 

"I want to take a walk to the city center." 

Selma was silent for a few seconds. This was something she couldn't make a decision. 

"If the Lady wants it, we have to talk to the Duke first. Around this is a dangerous territory. We can't go easily, lady."
