A Man Who is Like The Night

Noah had just returned home from the monster mission he did, when he got home just now, he deliberately went to the place where the fairies gathered. Asked them to visit the castle one week later. Noah remembers what Kiara wants, making him want to make it happen immediately.

After finishing everything, he just returned to the castle. Garter went straight to the Duke he served.

"Duke, has no strange movement from Prince Pierce. He has been in his room since just now."

The sky was already darkened, and it was time for dinner soon, Noah gave her coat to Jackson without saying anything. He unbuttoned the sleeves of the shirt and as he walked; he spoke to Garter.

"Don't forget to tell Prince Pierce to have dinner with me. Although I don't like him, he is still a prince."

"Allright, Duke." Garter immediately complied with Noah's wishes.

He saw that the back of the Duke he was serving had moved away, walking towards to get inside his room, which was quite far away. The long passage with the lights decorated so simply, Noah stepped to his feet quietly. That one day of Pierce's existence here had already made him tormented. He just wanted Pierce to leave immediately, so he could quickly see Kiara.

He couldn't see Kiara for so long, but if he encountered her now, then the illusion magic he installed in the palace next door would be known to Pierce, and it would be unpleasant for Noah.

Noah walked into his room. The big lamp in the middle of the room gave such a bright light, Noah took off his shirt, preparing to take a shower with the water that had been available. A refreshing soft fragrance wafted out, like a forest. Noah Pine smiled slightly.

"What is he doing now? Is he reading a fairy tale book again?" Noah asked himself when he got into the bathtub. The warm water made his tense muscles become more relaxed.

His hard days were getting heavier and heavier because of Pierce's arrival. He had to be even more cautious. It is very common to know that the imperial side has always wanted an advantage in themselves. They want a lot of things and control power perfectly.

Noah pressed his left shoulder. Slowly his flushed eyes glowed, and he sank himself for a moment into the water that filled the bathtub.

"Prince Pierce, you got a message from Duke Noah." Garter spoke from behind the door. He tried to be as polite as possible by knocking on the door the first time. It wasn't long before the door opened in front of him. Pierce looked like he had just finished taking a shower. The ends of his hair dripped with water several times.

Garter noticed him politely and as many people knew that prince Pierce was a prince who loved to smile. He was smiling softly.

"What does Noah want to tell me? Is he going to kick me out of this castle soon?" asked Pierce very casually once. Even though Noah wanted to do it, he couldn't just do it and Garter knew his master wouldn't do such an obvious thing for his dislike.

"No, Prince Pierce. But Duke asks you to go to the dining room and have dinner together."

Pierce smiled with such a surprised expression. With his bath kimono towel, he gave alms and thought of Noah's actions.

"During the eradication of the monster just now, Noah was not injured, right?" he asked with a very suspicious face.

"No, Prince Pierce. Duke Noah is fine. Very healthy."

The answer from Garter made Pierce chuckle lightly. He liked how this reply from Noah's subordinates was. His eyes flashed like a reflection of light in a sparkling place.

"Alright. I'll be there and have dinner in a while."

After saying it garter resigned from there while Pierce sat on his bed with both hands interlocked.

"The more the man acts, the more suspicious he is."

Pierce's gaze looked different from usual. This had a sharp-eyed look filled with strong intimidation.

It has been three days since Kiara came out of this castle. All her needs have been prepared with Selma. She was just inside her room with the sometimes open windows.

The fairy tale book has been spent dozens of times, and now she is stretching her body with a feeling of soreness in her joints.

"Who is Noah's guest, Selma?" asked Kiara making Selma startled. Her hand swayed, and she almost dropped the tea she had brought earlier. Kiara looked at her suspiciously, as if something would happen if Kiara knew about it.

"I also don't know, because it's in this castle, Lady Kiara. But I heard that there are envoys from the empire coming."

Selma put the glass she was holding on the small round table in front of Kiara, she looked so cautious and Kiara became more suspicious. She wanted to see for herself who came and find out the reason for being confined inside her room.

"Tonight I don't want to eat, Selma. The snacks provided just now were so many and made me full. After this, I just want to sleep."

Kiara smiled at Selma, who immediately understood what she meant.

As Selma walked out of her room, Kiara looked out the window, which had now been so dark. She imagined that many of the monster eyes that were there watching her with a sharp look in her eyes, Kiara's body got goose bumps from thinking of such a thing. The moment she saw the blood attached to Noah's shirt, she knew that the monster problem was a serious problem and she couldn't deal with it.

"What am I thinking about?" Kiara smiled grimly. She finished the tea in her hand.

Kiara opened her eyes, without her guessing that she fell asleep in the place where she was sitting just now, because the feeling of being depressed made her body become easily tired. She finally fell asleep unceremoniously without her being able to prevent it.

Kiara stood up while stretching her body, she felt that she needed a little free air. Kiara picked up the scarf and placed it on both of her shoulders.

The door of the room leading to her veranda was open. She watched the surroundings with a pleased smile.

"This can make me breathe a little." Kiara smiled slightly.

"Really? You're okay, Lady?"

The man's voice instantly made Kiara turn her head to her left very quickly. She saw a man sitting on the railing with his legs crossed and a beautiful smile on his face. He has a different aura than Noah. His black hair with golden eyes makes him appear like a night with a very bright glowing moon.
