Their Third Encounter

After freshening up, Louis came back to the sitting room where Ivy was lying on the couch sound asleep.

He stares at her peaceful face for a while. He couldn't help but admit that Ivy looked nice. If only he knew that wasn't her real face.

Jeremiah, now wearing his black pyjamas, walked into the sitting room.

"Boss, you are not planning to sleep in the sitting room…,"

"If you guessed that correctly why bother asking questions," Louis interrupted the curious guy.

"Stop talking. Go in and have a good night's sleep because when she wakes up this apartment will lack the thing called a peaceful atmosphere," Louis urged him to go to his room.

Because he often travelled it was only convenient Jeremiah stayed with him. Anyways even though he was to suggest Jeremiah finds a place to live, he wouldn't agree.

Jeremiah stares at his boss, a million thoughts running through his mind. He has known his boss for over a decade but he has never seen the tall handsome man interested in any lady. For some reason he finds his boss drawn to this strange woman they have met three times.

Just to save the lady his boss who had predicted she was up to something huge had ordered him to leave the party.

As if saving the lady who fell from the building wasn't enough, he even brought her to his apartment despite knowing that they would get into huge trouble if the police discover their involvement.

"Good night boss," Jeremiah said before he turned and approached the direction of his room.

Louis sat down on the couch with his legs and hands crossed. He soon dozed off in that position.

Very early the next morning the loud ringing tone of a phone jolted Louis out of his deep slumber.

Despite having been asleep, his expression and level of alertness did not look like one who slept.

He did not need to search for the cell phone for long. Louis answered the call when he saw that the number wasn't saved on her cell phone.

"Ivy, how are you now? The news said you got shot repeatedly, I am sure you must be in a lot of pain now. I can't bring myself to imagine the amount of blood you must have lost," Samuel, the caller, said in a worried tone.

"Where are you now? I tried searching the CCTV for you but I couldn't find where you disappeared to. Tell me where you are and I will come to your….,"

"You annoying guy, who said you could touch my phone," Ivy, who just woke up and saw her cell phone in Louis' hand, shouted out of anger.

"Weren't you taught that answering someone else's cell phone without permission is a bad habit," Ivy glared at the guy whose eyes were focused on her.

Samuel on the other end disconnected the call when he overheard that it wasn't Ivy with the phone.

"I wonder who dared to kidnap my beloved Ivy. I need to track her cell phone location to know where she is. This way I can go save her," Samuel sitting on a touch said before he opened the three laptops in front of him. He got to work immediately.

"Your name is Ivy? Didn't the guy in the club call you Samantha? Which out of the two is your real name?" Louis asked as he went to sit beside the lady whose hands and legs were tied.

He was joking earlier when he told Jeremiah to tie her up. It did not occur to him that he would really tie her up.

"Why do you care? Do you know I could kill you for what you did right now…,"

"Why do you always talk about killing someone? Don't you have better things to say other than killing?" Louis asked as he stared at the lady's blazing eyes.

Staring into her eyes he was so certain she would have attempted to kill him if her hands were not bound.

"Untie me now," Ivy ordered, ignoring his question.

"I will untie you only if you promise not to do anything…,"

"Just break the damn chain already," The angry Ivy ordered not promising him anything.

"You are so fierce," Louis said as he turned to untie her.

"What are you? How were you able to knock me out without touching me?" Ivy tried to pry answers from him but Louis proved himself to be very smart.

"You didn't even tell me your name so why should I disclose my identity to you?" Louis answered her question with another question.

Louis only had to touch the chain for it to unlock. The agile Ivy quickly pounced on him the moment he released her hands and leg.

"Are you going to repay me for saving you by killing me? Are you that ungrateful? I didn't know you were like this, I wouldn't have saved you if….,"

"Stop spewing nonsense and tell me your motive for saving me. And where the hell did you keep my clothes?" Ivy choking Louis asked coldly. Although she was grabbing his neck tightly, Louis did not struggle. It was as if he knew what he was doing.

"If I say I save you because I like you, will you spare me?" Louis asked while staring into her grey eyes.

"Then I will kill you right now…," They both felt the presence of someone in the sitting room.

"What do you think you are doing to my boss," Jeremiah who entered the sitting room asked his glares focused on the lady choking his boss on the couch.

"I won't let you repay my boss' kindness by killing him," Jeremiah said, stretching forth his hand. A red fiery whip appears in his hand.

"Don't harm her," Louis blurted out before Jeremiah could whip Ivy with the fiery whip.

"What the heck are you guys?" Ivy, who witnessed what she hasn't witnessed before asked in amazement.
