Mission Successful

About five minutes later screams could be heard coming from one of the rooms. The church clerks ran towards where the shouting came from.

There, they met one of the pastors lying in his pool of blood with his boys wailing while continuously shouting for help.

Amid the commotion, Ivy walked elegantly out of the church as if nothing happened.

"Mission successful," Ivy removed the scarf covering her hair and threw it on the floor.

She disappeared into the busy street without leaving a trace behind.

Two minutes after she left, a guy in casual clothes was seen picking up the scarf.

"She runs so fast," The guy turned and left when he did not get a glimpse of her around.

In another street, a guy secretly tailing Ivy stretched his hand to scare her. "Don't even try it, Sammy," Ivy put an end to his plan without even turning around.

Samuel frowned seeing that he had failed once again.

"How did you know that it was me?"

Ivy turned and stared at him looking slightly surprised that he would ask her such a question.

"Through your scent of course or don't you know that much Sammy? You always claimed to be extremely smart so how come…,"

"Of course I am smart but there are so many people here that is why I am furious to know how you were able to tell that I am the one without turning around," Samuel said as they walked side by side.

"Although it is slightly crowded on the street that doesn't mean I can't identify you through your scent. Every individual has a unique scent that distinguishes them….," Ivy trailed as she turned and stared at him.

"And I was trained to differentiate these scents since I was a child. Thanks to my sensitive nose, I can distinguish people through their scent even with my eyes closed," Ivy resumed walking again.

"That's why you are such a genius," Samuel complimented as he beamed at the lady who wasn't even staring at him.

They continued walking in silence for about five minutes until Samuel spoke up.

"Ivy, as you can see Hawaii is such a beautiful city. You have finished your mission here so how about we have some fun before we leave…,"

"Sorry but I don't have the leisure to play," Ivy rejected his suggestion in such a blunt tone that would have annoyed the person she was talking to if it was not Samuel.

The carefree guy was too excited to care about the tone she used.

Also, he is used to her temperament so how could he easily get upset with her?

"Apart from the missions lined up, I still have to worry about the club and how it is being managed…,"

"You have only one mission left and also Gideon is there to manage the club. After the last beating you gave him, he would never dare to slack or squander your money," Samuel said in a bid to convince the lady who was determined not to yield to him today.

"I don't trust anyone…,"

"Am I included in that?" Samuel asked jumping to stand in her path.

"Don't try to get words out of my mouth because it won't work," Ivy brushed past him, not giving him the response he wanted.

"Ivy, it will be such a waste if we leave without exploring this amazing city…,"

"I will let you play but I will wait for you in our hotel room. Come back before it's time for our flight," Ivy said as she quickened her pace.

"It's boring to play alone… Hey, wait for me," Samuel hurried to catch up to her when he realised that she was walking too fast.

….

In a hall filled with beautiful women and handsome men of different calibre, a lady in a red long dress that had a slit that stopped at her thigh walks around the hall in elegance.

Her mere presence garners the attention of all the men in the function. Even men who had partners could not resist staring at the beautiful lady who looked like she just descended from heaven.

What they did not know was that instead of heaven this devilish beauty emerged from hell.

The lady who was on a mission paid attention to none of the men who were giving her lecherous glances.

In fact, she was too busy searching for her target to pay attention to insignificant people.

"Why is she here?" A man in a black suit standing far away muttered, his eyes glued on the gorgeous lady in red.

"Let's go," the man in the black suit ordered the guy in brown blazers standing beside him.

"We barely arrived…," The guy paused his eyes on meeting his boss' stern glare.

"Ok," The two left the bubbling event in an instant.

"Hi, may…,"

"I am taken," Ivy said as she walked past the man who tried to talk to her. She left the young guy embarrassed.

[Where the hell is he? I need to kill him and get over with the mission so I can finally go home to rest]

Ivy continued searching the hall. Just then she got a glimpse of the one she was searching for.

"Found him!" Ivy remarked, smirking evilly.

"Sammy are you there? I need you to tell me his exact location using the CCTV while I go change. I feel kinda uncomfortable wearing this outfit," Ivy spoke in low tones as she approached the elevator.

With her half-parted hair which covered her right ear no one could see the black earbud stuck into her ear.

"I will keep an eye on him," Samuel, who had already gained access to the entire CCTV cameras in the hotel, said.

Ivy headed to the rooftop where she had hidden her real outfit.

There she changed into her black outfit. She dressed faster than other people would have done.

"So where is my prey?" Ivy, who had her black backpack strap at her back, said as she began leaving the rooftop.

"He is on the 15th floor. About fifteen guards are stationed on that floor…,"

"Aren't there just fifteen guards and not one hundred and fifty guards so what are you so afraid of?" Ivy who has always been confident all her life said.

Samuel working in one of the rooms in the hotel stared at the different footage displayed on the screens in front of him.

"I know you are powerful but they are a large number of police and other force people downstairs, boss has always said to keep a low profile…,"

"You don't need to remind me about that. I will take care of them without alerting them downstairs," Ivy said as she used her vampire speed and headed down the lengthy stairs.

When she reached the 15th floor, she brought out the two short pistols and held them with her hands before she revealed herself.

"Stop there. Who are you?...," Ivy charged forward acting as though she was deaf and dumb.

When she was close enough she brought out her double pistol and tried to shoot. Ivy was stunned when the gun didn't shoot.

"Goddamn it! The bullets have been removed," Ivy muttered realising what was the problem.
