The Vampire's Curse

She was not the woman of his dreams. She was rather the woman who came and turned his life upside down. Did love even exist? Why did she have to forgive him for things he did? He did not do them because he loved her. He did them because he wanted them all to herself. He didn't want to lose her and did what would benefit him. He never thought about others so why would she think about him. She was only meant to save herself. She was not some Messiah who came to deliver the world. As she looked at him all she felt was disgust. She didn't think that she loved him anymore. She didn't have a soul. He had destroyed it. His eyes raked over her body and he could not contain the lust that he felt towards her. His pupils turned dark as she ran her hands over his chest. He wanted to grab her by the throat and kiss her. Hold her under the moon and tell her how much he had been miserable since she had left but he knew that was not what she wanted to hear. The moon accentuated her curves and all he wanted was to run his hand all over her body. He knew it was not going to last. He had not seen her for over a decade and now she was back. He has thought that he did not feel anything for her but every time he looked at her he felt alive again. He wanted to let her go but couldn't and did not know why. It's like she was a drug that was in his system that he couldn't wash away. If he could go back in time he would have never met her. If he would have never met her a lot of things would have never happened. He was not her knight in shining armor the same way she was not the woman for his heart. She was the woman who made his life a living hell and he still did not understand why she still brought him to his knees every time.

FEELINGS

Erin had already prepared herself and was ready to leave. Even though she didn't have any fancy clothes to wear to the ceremony she had still worm the best cloth that she could find.

"You look like a princess", Katelyn said to her as she fixed her hair.

"Yeah I do, thank you", said Erin as she smiled looking at herself.

"He is going to fall in love with you if he sees you looking like this", joked Katelyn.

"No, he won't", said Erin a frown on her face.

"And why is that?", Katelyn asked Erin.

"Because I am not the type of the girl that he would ever go for. He has to marry a rich girl of the same status as him and am not it. Am okay with us being friends I gave up the dream of being with him long ago", said Erin smiling softly.

Katelyn had never seen anyone think so little of themselves like that. Erin thought that she was not good enough and the worst part was that she believed it and was okay with that.

"Anyone would be lucky to have you in their life it doesn't have to be him and he is a coward if he doesn't see that", said Katelyn.

"If you say so", said Erin as she laughed.

She has sent works to Curtis that he should send a carriage to the Watson residence to pick her up and she was getting anxious every second that passed.

"Do I have to go you know I can just change and we will have a sleepover I don't feel like going there", said Erin as she turned to look at Katelyn.

"You have given me that suggestion like a hundred times in the last one hour and my answer is still the same, no.", said Katelyn.

"Just stop thinking about what people are going to say when they see you there and go enjoy yourself, you were invited you are bit going to crash", said Katelyn.

"Okay if you say so, and why isn't the carriage coming it was supposed to be here like an hour ago", said Erin worried.

"Maybe something came up and the driver was delayed he will be here don't worry about it", said Katelyn.

"Okay", said Erin as she stood up and they both headed downstairs.

_____________

"Where are you going Fernando", Ophelia asked the carrier driver as she saw him get ready to leave.

"I was sent by Mr. Curtis to go and pick up miss Erin", the man said.

"You can't do that anymore I need to send you somewhere", said Ophelia.

"But miss he will scold me if I don't go", said Fernando.

"Well I will do more than scolding you, do you want to lose your job?", she asked him.

"No ma'am I don't", he said as he bowed down to her.

"Okay now I want you to go to the market and pick up some things for me", she said and Fernando was taken aback.

He never runs errands like those but he knew if he dared to question her he would be dead so he had learned to just keep quiet and do what he was told.

"Yes ma'am whatever you need", he said.

"Okay with here I'll get you a least of the thing that I need", she did as she left.

Curtis kept glancing around wondering if Erin had come yet but he could not see her anywhere. He had thought that by then she would have ready come but she was nowhere.

It couldn't be that she had decided not to come when he had received a message for her the day before saying she wanted to be picked up at the Watson residence.

He had wondered what she was doing there. He knew about the Watson family as he had heard stories about them.

They were not pleasant people so he was a bit worried that she chose to hang out with the lot. He had never met them so he really couldn't tell if they were good people or bad people boy he knew that they were dangerous.

"Sir Zania has arrived and is asking for you", said one of the workers.

"Okay ill be right there in a minute", Curtis said to the worker as he dismissed him.

He hated his life to a point. Why did he have to have a relationship with her for the sake of family? He did not like her at all and yet he was supposed to be with her the whole evening.

It wasn't even about the family he knew that people also expected them to be together but that was not something that he wanted. He just hoped that he could get to see Erin.

"Why are you still here I thought you were going to that royal party?", Edmund asked Erin the moment he entered the house and saw her seating on the sofa.

"Well it seems like my invitation was canceled given the fact that I was supposed to be picked up over three hours ago", said Erin.

"Well darling men tend to tend lying don't fret over eat just eat in that beautiful dress and you'll be fine", said Edmund.

"You can't tell me what to do", said Erin getting annoyed.

"Love I am not the prince and I could never be so I don't understand why you are mad at me", said Edmund even making Erin madder.

"Well I never said you could be the prince", said Erin.

"I can't deal with women who had emotional issues where is my sister?", Edmund asked Erin.

"She went to work", Erin said.

"You know I can make you forget about the prince", said Edmund as he sat beside Erin.

"It's not like am in love with him or anything so thanks for the offer but no", said Erin.

"He got you so wound up because of a party and you want to tell me you don't have feelings for him?" Edmund asked her.

"Will you please leave me alone Edmund is not in a mood to argue with you", Erin said as she sighed in frustration.

"Okay well my offer still stands you know where my room is", Edmund said as he stood up to leave.

"That is disgusting I'll never sleep with you", Erin said.

"I'll remind you these words the day that you will be sleeping in my bed", said Edmund as he chuckled.
