The Vampire's Curse

She was not the woman of his dreams. She was rather the woman who came and turned his life upside down. Did love even exist? Why did she have to forgive him for things he did? He did not do them because he loved her. He did them because he wanted them all to herself. He didn't want to lose her and did what would benefit him. He never thought about others so why would she think about him. She was only meant to save herself. She was not some Messiah who came to deliver the world. As she looked at him all she felt was disgust. She didn't think that she loved him anymore. She didn't have a soul. He had destroyed it. His eyes raked over her body and he could not contain the lust that he felt towards her. His pupils turned dark as she ran her hands over his chest. He wanted to grab her by the throat and kiss her. Hold her under the moon and tell her how much he had been miserable since she had left but he knew that was not what she wanted to hear. The moon accentuated her curves and all he wanted was to run his hand all over her body. He knew it was not going to last. He had not seen her for over a decade and now she was back. He has thought that he did not feel anything for her but every time he looked at her he felt alive again. He wanted to let her go but couldn't and did not know why. It's like she was a drug that was in his system that he couldn't wash away. If he could go back in time he would have never met her. If he would have never met her a lot of things would have never happened. He was not her knight in shining armor the same way she was not the woman for his heart. She was the woman who made his life a living hell and he still did not understand why she still brought him to his knees every time.

EDMUND

Edmund was the hotheaded one.

He had lived most of his life not listening to anyone. in the seven hundred years that he had lived, he does only remember ever listening.

Maybe that was the reason that he didn't have a good relationship with his father. His father never liked him. It should have hired him but it didn't because he did not like his father either.

They always said that you never knew how much you need someone until they were no longer there for you.

He felt much better with his father to give in fact. All he did in their life was torture them because he expected them to be perfect.

It was even worse given the fact that it hit that they had lived with him for seventeen years. It had been a decade of torture.

He just wished that people could choose their parents. He would have never chosen his parents.

There was nothing he valued more in life than a family. And to him, that was his brother and sister. They may not have had the best relationship but he knew they were always watching his back and so was he.

Those were the only people who never judged him for the mistakes he did. Maybe they did judge him by they didn't treat him like he was some monster.

It was not his fault had turned out to be the way he was. It was all his fathers did. He had wanted him to be the strong one and somehow ruined him.

He had made him think that killing people was good. To know that he thought made him gag. He somehow told him to attack the homeless people.

This we're people who had been forgotten by society. No one cared if they were alive or not so if they disappeared no one would notice.

At first, he had thought it was okay until it reached a point where he could not stop. He could not drink packaged blood when people were lying around the street.

He had lost count on the number of people he had turned. He had turned them because of his selfishness. He did not want to accept the fact that he was taking away innocent lives for his gain.

They had been happy to be turned through. He never understood why they thought being a vampire was the best thing that would happen to them. When he hated everything about it.

A lifetime of suffering was not something that he wanted. They died yes but not compared to the years human beings lived on the earth.

A part of the liked being a vampire. Why would he hate it when he was a hybrid? No one could kill them. Maybe he was supposed to be thankful to his mother for having strong genes.

He played it because he could not fall in love. He did not have emotions like other people. All he had was nothing but a void.

Maybe it was better that way. Because faking in life meant a lifetime of pain. There was no life if it did not hurt.

It was supposed to be a beautiful thing. He never understood why it still hurt though. Maybe he was just better off without it.

"Am hungry I haven't fed in days ", says Edmund to his brother.

"I know I haven't fed too,, I wanted to look for group da where we could feed but I haven't found the time.", Elijah says.

"You are not helping anything", says Edmund as he stands up and leaves.

There was a way of funding blood that they had not thought of.

He knew a place where he could find blood in abundance but no one was just going to give him blood without asking questions.

The good bank was a good place to start. He just didn't know how he was you g to enter and leave without being noticed. It was a crime which meant he would probably end up in jail if anyone saw him.

That was not even the worst part people would start asking questions that he didn't want. He knew that people didn't think that vampires existed but he was going to turn out to be the freak of town.

As he opened the door to leave the house he came face to face with his sister Katelyn.

He looked her up and down and wondered why she was dressed like a hooker.

"We just got here Katelyn and you have already woken up in another boy's bed ", he says sarcastically as he moves to let her in. He followed her as she sits down and sighs.

"No Edmund I just went to a party ", she says.

"Oooohhh how was it ?", he asks her as he sits next to her.

"It was fun considering I blacked out and am coming back now. Everyone was giving me a weird look as I came home as they haven't seen anyone dressed like this before ", she says looking at her outfit.

She did not see anything wrong with her outfit but her brother would point out ten things that were wrong with it.

"Have you not seen how you're dressed? It's fine to walk like that at night but not during the day. People were walking with their kids and you looked like this ?", he ask her.

"Okay maybe I should have left the party before people woke up, you looked like you were going somewhere when I was walking in ", she says.

"Yeah, I am going to look for blood. I haven't fed in a long time and I am getting weak each second. So I was thinking about going to rob the blood bank in the hospital ", he says grinning menacingly.

"Are you okay cause I feel like there is something wrong with you? How can you think about robbing a blood bank two days after we got here? People need that blood .", she says huffing.

"And I need it more because of I didn't get that blood I'll start snapping people's necks and I don't think you will like that. So it's your choice and go change you're coming with me ", he says.

She opened her mouth to object but did not want to start a quarrel with him she did not have the energy.

Stealing blood was not good but they needed it. If he started snapping people's necks it wouldn't be long until the town was scared shitless. The would be noticed and that was the last thing they needed.Their family name already did too much as it was.
