Nathan didn't bother about the stares he was getting. For one thing
The food didn't taste as good as his mom's food. The chicken was undercooked. Nothing tasted better.
He was having trouble eating, secondly the people sitting with him. Didn't stop staring at him as if it were a show.
“What do you do for a living?” Elizabeth was the first one to fire the question. With ease, Nathan glanced up at his soon-to-be mother-in-law. They look like drilled holes. With a smile, Nathan cleared his throat
“He's an engineer… talented and brilliant”Laura answered before Nathan could. The entire family shifted their gaze from Laura to Nathan
“His family background… When did you meet him and how… what's his net worth” it was Jeremy who chimed in gawking at Nathan? The look he received from Laura was enough to shut him up
