113 Chapter 111: Her Ascension

Ivery sat still on a chair as Luther stood in front of her. His fingers then ran through her hair and her light blonde hair turned black under his fingers. He leaned down and put his right hand over her eyes.

Luther then removed his hand and when Ivery opened her eyes they felt slightly itchy, she rubbed her eyes as she stood up.

Ivery walked to a vanity mirror and stared in awe. Her hair was pitch black and so was her eyes, she almost looked like a completely different person.

"How long will it last?" Ivery asked as she admired her new look

"As long as I want it to" Luther said

"Good." Ivery said as she turned to face him

"I'll have to go with another appearance myself." Luther said, he couldn't take the form of "Lucinda" anymore since it was already seen by Xia

"Okay, but what are we going there as?" Ivery inquired

"The only way to make our way through the palace easily would be to disguise ourselves as maids" Luther sighed

"Maids it is then." Ivery nodded

A black mist swirled around Luther and his height slightly lowered and he had taken the form a woman again, his midnight colored black hair was now dark brown and his eyes were dark blue. He wore a butler's outfit despite agreeing to be a maid.

"You don't like dresses?" Ivery mischievously grinned

"I'll never wear a dress." Luther cringed at the thought

"Yet you keep taking the appearance of women." Ivery's grin widened

"It's more fun and it's less suspicious since Xia and Hecate don't know about my shapeshifting ability." Luther told her

"Sure." Ivery wasn't buying it, he just didn't want to admit that he likes shapeshifting into women

A black and white maid dress materialized with a golden glow in Ivery's hands.

Ivery looked at Luther, hoping this time he'd at least close his eyes.

"Go ahead, I'll sit here and wait." Luther smiled and sat down on the bed

Ivery frowned and started to take off her dress with a deep sigh.

After Ivery was done changing they immediately teleported to Fresia's palace. They made sure everything was clear to start making their way to Luther's room.

As they walked down the hall they saw six maids walking down the hall towards them.

"What are you two doing here? There's a meeting downstairs." One of the maids told Ivery and Luther

"We have other business to take care of, if you'll excuse us." Ivery responded

"It's a mandatory meeting." One of the maids grabbed Ivery by the wrist and pulled her over

Ivery pulled her wrist out of the maids hold and snapped her fingers, instantly all six of the maids were frozen in place.

"Let's go." Ivery walked past the maids and Luther followed with a smile

They eventually made it to Luther's room without anymore disturbances. Luther pushed open the two large doors.

They walked into the room and they both stood in shock.

There was blood all over the room, and all of the furniture was either completely destroyed or broken but there was no one inside.

"Loki?" Ivery called out for him

"Loki!?" Ivery called out again

She looked at Luther with worry in her eyes.

"Erebus." Luther called out

A cloud of black mist appeared in front of Luther and Erebus stepped forward with Ivery's appearance.

"What? You told me to take her place but summon me as soon as you get here?" Erebus crossed his arms in annoyance

"That doesn't matter right now, can you sense Loki?" Luther asked

Erebus looked around the room.

"Loki was definitely here.." Erebus said as he walked around

"That's not what I asked Erebus." Luther rubbed his forehead

"I sense him but faintly." Erebus said

"Is he injured then?" Ivery asked

"Probably but all of this blood isn't just his." Erebus answered

"Then whose blood is it?" Luther questioned

"It's human blood." Erebus answered

"Did he manage to injure Xia then?" Ivery thought out loud

"You're connected to him, you'll be able to find him better than I would if you focused on him hard enough." Erebus told Ivery

"I see.." Ivery

Ivery closed her eyes and focused deeply on Loki and his energy traces. Her eyes quickly opened when she felt a strong familiar energy trail.

"I sense him, he's alive and he's not too far..." Ivery told them with a smile

"Then let's go." Luther said

"But if we go, then we'll have to be ready to fight them and I haven't fully mastered my golden energy yet. " Ivery told him

"Wouldn't the ancient artifacts be enough?" Luther asked

"I don't know if I'll be able to stab her in the head with the rapier, my body is still mortal unlike yours, if I die before I can stab her you'll have to-" Ivery looked down as she spoke

"You won't die, I won't let it happen." Luther reassured her

"If you can gather all of your golden energy and concentrate it to go towards your prowess core instead of it lingering inside of your prowess veins then you can immortalize your body." Erebus said to Ivery

"Really?" Ivery's eyes lit up with excitement

"But you have to do it right now, we have no more time to waste in this plane, we're going to end this here...this will be the last time we'll have to deal with Eos and Xia." Luther said with a serious face

"But-" Ivery didn't know how long it would take her to fully concentrate her golden energy when Hecate had told her she had limited time when she consciously enters her prowess core..

"If anyone can do it, it's you Ivery." Luther smiled and put his hand on her cheek

"Okay." She smiled back at him and nodded

Ivery sat on the floor of the room and closed her eyes as she tried to gather her golden energy that flowed within her. Her prowess core shone brightly, a blinding light emitted from her chest and golden energy particles swirled and circled around her body.

Ivery opened her eyes and she had successfully entered her prowess core again. She looked up and saw all of the twinkling golden energy particles floating around that mimicked a starry night sky.

She took a deep breath and lifted her hand.

All of the golden energy particles that floated about started to move towards Ivery. They all gathered and swirled around her like a forming tornado.

On the outside as Luther and Erebus watched over her body, they noticed her prowess core glow brighter than it already was. Her closed eyes suddenly opened and both of her eyes were glowing. The faint golden energy particles that circled around her increased and became more visible, and then suddenly a burst of light exploded in the room, making both Luther and Erebus instinctively cover and close their eyes. All of the windows shattered and the entire castle quaked.

The golden light stretched and turned into a pillar that shot straight up into the sky, turning the blue sky's color to golden. Alarming all of those who saw it.

Ivery's body elevated and her prowess core was finally complete.

Her hair and eyes that were changed by Luther's power shifted back to their original colors, ultimately canceling his magic. Her maids dress that she wore changed to a white long gown of otherworldly material that had bright golden hems that looked as if they were illuminated. A golden locket necklace materialized around her neck, the purpose it was to serve is unknown.

The light that surrounded the castle and in the sky died down and Ivery's body fell and collapsed. Luther quickly caught Ivery before she hit the floor.

"She did it, didn't she?" Luther smiled and looked at Ivery who laid unconscious in his arms

"She did, all of her golden energy successfully merged with her infinite energy, she should have just achieved an immortal body with her ascension." Erebus felt the immense power emitting from Ivery's body

"Once she awakens, it'll be time to confront Eos and her pet." Erebus told Luther, hoping he was ready

"I know, we'll finally be done with this once and for all...then we can proceed with our wedding." Luther kissed Ivery's forehead and couldn't wait to kill the two of the pests that barred him from marrying his one and only love in the entire universe

Luther walked to the messy bed and laid Ivery down on it.
