Their Second Encounter
After two long years, they were finally in the 7th grade. Rihanna did well hiding her feeling for Brice for two long years. Neither of them were in a relationship so far. Rihanna had finally adjusted with the unfamiliar surrounding and she had made some good friends. She was quite outspoken and was confident in whatever she did. Her confidence level was boosted, her acting skills improved and well she was pretty good in her studies as well. Her scores wore the best from her class. Just like the previous years, some brilliant students were chosen for the parents day to showcase their talents. This year even Rihanna was selected as one of the main characters for the drama. She was the female lead and of course Brice was chosen as the male lead. Rihanna couldn't contain her joy, she was finally set up with Brice and this would be their first ever encounter. The teachers called them for the rehearsal. She was there clasping her hands with joy only to find out that he quit being the male lead. She was seriously disappointed. But she did not let this opportunity to slide. She took part in many activities. She sure enjoyed herself but a part of her felt empty.
She longed to strike a first conversation with Brice, but she didn't have the courage to do so. Just like this their second encounter failed without even striking a conversation. Rihanna was pretty sad and was about to give up on her unrequited love. She had decided to just focus on her studies and leave behind her incomplete love story. She studied hard and the next year she was promoted to Brice's section. She didn't know what to do just about the time when she had decided to give up they were in the same class. She wasn't alone promoted to that section her closest friend Lumina was there with her.
She spent 2 years just adjusting in her class, now she had to do that again. Different people, different surrounding it was tough on her. Finally one day Brice spoke to her. It was the happiest day of her life. He just asked for her notes but still she was happy that he spoke to her only to find out her notes completely wet. Some boys splashed water on her notes, she was angry at his carelessness but couldn't tell him anything. He then apologized to her and asked her to help her with her notes. She didn't deny his help as this was the first time they were going to did something together. This was their first conversation and like everyone was teasing him with some other girl's name. She was shocked, it felt like her world shatter. "Are they in a relationship?" was the first que that ran across her mind. She was helpless as she couldn't ask neither of them.
She held back her tears and decided to give up on him and finally move on. Rihanna couldn't do so as whenever she saw him her heart would hurt. She so in love with him. She couldn't digest the fact that her one sided crush for 3 complete years was in a relationship with someone other than her. She did receive tons of proposals from boys from different sections but her heart was set on Brice so she rejected each and everyone. She had grown to become pretty, cute and was liked by all; she had that kind of personality that no one could bring themselves to hate her.
