[Chapter 2] The Great Awakening
As the top Imperial officer from the Imperial Court made his way to investigate this incident with the Well, Shi was beginning to understand what had happened. All of the Well's power [Infinite magic power] had entered his body, Shi didn't want the Empire to know of his new found powers so he tries to suppress it to avoid being captured and tortured for his powers."Hello.. hello.... helllooooooo!" Shi heard a voice in his head, the voice kept calling out to him ." You know that you can speak to me through your thoughts." the voice told shi. The mysterious voice in Shi's head was named Natalia she is an ancient spirit that was imprisoned in the Well by a powerful Mage from the Empire and was forced to give power to those who will serve the Empire in the future. With no memory of who she is or where she came from she deemed Shi worthy of her power, as she tested Shi for 3 years. She purposely didn't give Shi powers for the first two years to see if his ideology would remain the same. I guess you could say the third time is the charm. Natalia told Shi to keep a low profile, she told him to get into the worst class so that the officials wouldn't suspect him of anything. " But i don't know how to control my power. What can i do to lower it's intensity?" Natalia told him to always keep calm, you magic concentration greatly depends of your mental stability. If you are angry your magic becomes riled up and is easy to sense."Just stay calm little boy" Natalia said to Shi."My name is Shi." Although she already knew his name Natalia decided to play along. The Imperial officer whose name was "Jin Atara" nicknamed "Dragon" for his accomplishments for the Empire was making his way towards Shi. He is going to read Shi's magic power for himself, his reading of people's power is even more accurate than the device the Empire uses.
"Huh, what a waste of my time. You are useless as any other. You barely have any magic power, hahahaha. You are going to study in the F class[F class, The worst possible class.] Shi was quite stunned his expectations of Officer Dragon was different. Dragon had a hysterical laugh a bit rude but what Shi didn't know , Dragon will be teaching F class.
Shi made his way back home as he was encountered by Dragon. "You can call me Mr.Dragon, I am here to give you your uniform. Pack up your belongings i am supposed to accommodate you to the dorms." Shi's heart sunk as he didn't want Mr.Dragon to see where he lived. Mr.Dragon looks like he isn't going to take no for an answer, I might as well take him to my home."Boy you don't have to hide anything from me I already know where you are living. It's the duty of the top Imperial Officer to observe everything that goes on in the Empire. You don't have to be ashamed of where you live. Nothing is wrong to grow up in this world poor, the only problem was leaving this world poor." Shi swallowed his pride and allowed Mr.Dragon to see where he lives. Shi finished packing his things and Mr.Dragon accompanied Shi to the dorms and even went as far to accompany him to his Room.
