After everything that had happened, Nathan went straight back to Raine's room. Upon entering, he was surprised to see that she was sleeping on the bed again.

'She's probably too exhausted to stay awake,' he thought to himself as he carefully walked towards her, sitting beside her on the side of the bed. 'What an angel…' 

Nathan couldn't help but smile. He wondered if Raine herself knew that she had the blood of an angel running through her veins. It was no wonder that she healed way too fast then, not to mention her then-unexplained supernatural gifts. He'd bet that if Raine knew her true origins, she'd have a lot more power in her now than what she had already shown so far.
