Chapter 46 - You Belong To Us Now Part 3

After the queen ordered her men to bring her guests to her "tea room", Mi Young felt somehow relieved that her plan was somewhat working.

They were brought into a much smaller room. However, everything is still the same as the rest of the castle where there are a number of sparkling and precious gems decorated everywhere.

The only difference was the fact that there are loads of different deserts and fruits in front of the guests.

Mi Young looked at the others. She knows they are aware of the fact that they should not taste any of those no matter how hard the queen and her servants convince them.

"Please, take a seat my honored guests." The queen says as she too sits in front of them. "To what do I owe the pleasure of meeting you guys?"

"I know you already know the rest of them. I heard you abducted all of the other Cyclops and even stole the violet lamp grass." Mi Young deadpans. Everyone went still upon hearing her rude tone. However, the queen laughed at her sentence.

"Abducting is quite a strong word. Oh my." The queen starts to say. She even dramatically places her hands on her chest before she continues her sentence. "I believe it wasn't my fault they all decided to take a bite of my precious fruits and deserts."

"More like you tricked them in doing so." Mi Young says under her breath but enough for everyone to hear.

She sees the guards looking at her with hatred but they all remain in their positions knowing that the queen hasn't ordered them anything yet.

"You're quite feisty, I like that!" The queen says as she winks at Mi Young. "I heard you're here for the violet lamp grass. What would you do with it?"

"I need to heal a friend and the only way for her injuries to be healed is through the help of the violet lamp grass. I ventured everywhere in the human kingdom and the only answer I was able to get was the power of the violet lamp grass." Mi Young lies.

The queen looked at her for a few seconds before she answered. "Yes. I do have the violet lamp grass but I don't think that's the only thing you want from me given that you brought a lot of others with you."

Mi Young followed the queen's gaze towards her companions.

The leader of the Cyclops looks like he's trying his best to calm down as he sits in front of his enemy. Mi Young wanted to pat his back for his amazing self control.

She also sees the chief of the dwarves and the Alpha looking straight ahead, not even sparing the others, even the queen, any glance.

And there's Se Heon who was trying to touch the gem in front of him. He moves it using his forefinger ever so lightly and then backs away when he sees that it was a desert as well.

Mi Young rolled her eyes at the boy. If the other party ate it she would definitely smack him in the head before leaving him for the queen, good thing he stopped himself.

"So?" The queen says, trying to get Mi Young's attention.

"You're right. I'm not here for the violet lamp grass alone." Mi Young says.

"I believe I know what you want." The queen says. "Are you here to get the Cyclops' other companions?"

"You're indeed an excellent observer, Your Highness." Mi Young says as she gives the queen a small smirk. The queen only smiled at her. "What do we have to do in order to get the Cyclops clan back?"

"I'm glad you ask." The queen says as she clasps her hands together, a sign that she's excited. "I want to have some of your blood. Just a tiny bit of it actually. I'm experimenting with something and I'm so close to finishing it. However, I need the blood of a dual user."

"So the rumors are indeed true. You're really looking for the blood of a dual user. May I know what experiment you are doing? Since you're going to use my blood, I think I deserve to know."

The queen laughed merrily at her once more before she answered. "I am making my own doll."

"Doll? Aren't these abducted subjects enough to be your dolls?"

"No. No. I want something made from my hands alone. I want something powerful and that I alone can control." The queen says with a smile on her face. However, there was a glint in her eyes that screamed trouble for Mi Young.

"Very well. I will give you my—"

"Ouch!" Mi Young wasn't able to finish her sentence when Se Heon suddenly shouted beside her.

Everyone in the room stiffened as they looked at the raven haired boy. Mi Young held his shoulder, "Are you okay?"

Se Heon nodded his head as he sipped his fingers. "I pricked my hands on this flower, nothing serious. Please continue your business talk."

"Is there any blood?"

"Just a small one." Se Heon says with a reassuring smile. He held his finger in front of Mi Young. "See? It's gone. I'm really okay."

Mi Young just nodded before she proceeded to continue her sentence earlier. "I'm sorry about that. He's a little careless."

There was delight in the eyes of the queen. "I'm sure he is. Where were we again?"

"Oh right. As I was saying, I will give you a portion of my blood only if you give me one violet lamp grass and give back all the Cyclops and other creatures you have abducted."

The lady from earlier who escorted them reacts at Mi Young's offer. "Her Majesty will not agree to such insolence! You are very greedy and—"

"I agree." The queen says.

"Your Highness?" The lady asks, looking shocked.

"I agree to your offer." The queen says. There was something in her eyes that made Mi Young's inside churn but the black haired girl chose to ignore it.

"Good. Before I will give you my blood, I would like to make sure that you will follow on what we have agreed first." Mi Young says. "I want you to release all of the creatures first before I give you some of my blood."

"You arroga—"

"Silence Aelin!" The queen shouts. The female Seelie bows her head as she apologizes to the queen. Then she turns her gaze back at Mi Young who still had a blank expression on her face. "I agree to your offer. Only if you give me at least three vials of your blood."

"Okay then. It would be an honor, Your Highness." Mi Young says while bowing her head.

The queen looks delighted as she orders someone to get some vials so she could get samples from Mi Young's blood.

"Please do your end of the bargain first."

"Fine." The queen starts. She ordered the female Seelie from earlier to release every single creature from their hold. The other Seelie wanted to protest but the queen dismissed her.

After doing her end of the bargain, the queen looked at Mi Young with an excited look. "Now, it's my turn."

Mi Young nodded her head as she waited for the queen to get some of her blood.

One of the queen's attendants walked up to her. The attendant pricked her fingers using her sharp nails before she let Mi Young's blood drip on the three empty vials.

While Mi Young was giving out her blood, the queen was looking at the vials without even blinking, there was a huge smile adorning her face. Mi Young is torn between admiring her beauty and being scared with the way she smiles.

After finally filling up the last vial, Mi Young immediately bowed towards the queen of the Seelies. "Thank you, Your Highness for agreeing to my offer."

"Don't be ridiculous, dear. It was a win-win situation." The queen says bashfully as she sips one of her tea. "Here, the violet lamp grass you asked as well."

Mi Young bowed once more towards the queen as they all stood up from their seats.

Kah La Kee looks so excited that everyone from their clan has been released from their chains and he can't wait to meet them outside.

Mi Young, however, remained calm, so as not to anger the queen, who knows what she could do to them.

"'Till next time, sweetlings." The queen says as the five creatures start to walk up towards the exit.

However, just as they were all about to step out, Se Heon remained inside.

Mi Young and the others stopped as they looked at the boy who was trying to get out of the palace but it seems like an invisible force is pulling him inside.

"Se Heon? What's wrong?"

"I can't go out." The other party says. He tries to go out once more but there seems like an invisible wall blocking his way.

"What the…'' Mi Young starts to say. She tries to pull Se Heon along with her but there is something blocking her. Then her gaze fell upon the Seelie queen who was just looking at them with an amused expression. "What the hell did you do?"

Mi Young forgets how she should pay respect to the queen as she storms inside the tea room once more. "What did you do to Se Heon?!"

The queen sips her tea one more time before placing it down. "I didn't do anything."

"Didn't do anything yet Se Heon can't go out! What did you do, you evil queen?!"

As soon as the insult came out from Mi Young's mouth, all Seelies inside the room bared their teeth against her. One Seelie steps forwards, "Call Her Majesty evil one more time and I'll kill you in a matter of seconds."

Blinded with rage, Mi Young felt nothing but hatred and anger. She glares at the male Seelie and with her coldest voice she says, "Come at me then."

The male Seelie was about to accept her challenge but the queen stopped him. "Enough. I'm afraid our guest is just confused."

"Confused?" Mi Young questions.

"Yes, darling. I know that you are aware of the rules in our kingdom right?" The queen starts. "Once you get a taste of our deserts, you will be chained to us forever or until I tell you so. Your handsome friend here ate some of my fruit so he's bound to stay here forever. Don't worry, I'll treat him like he's my own since he is the friend of my favorite human."

"Nonsense! I was observing them the whole time! Se Heon didn't ate anything!" Mi Young protests.

The queen giggles as she covers her mouth in a lady-like manner. "Oh stop kidding, remember when your friend touched one of my gem fruit?"

"Yes but he didn't eat it."

"That's true but when he pricked his finger and sip some of his blood a portion of the gem's taste went into his mouth." The queen says.

"You're lying!"

"Oh darling, if I am indeed lying he wouldn't be blocked by the spell."

Mi Young was at a loss for words as she regarded Se Heon who was just as confused as her. But the boy took a deep breath as he walked towards Mi Young, "I'll be fine. Plus, she said that she'll treat me right cause you're her friend so don't worry about me."

"Are you listening to yourself?" Mi Young asked. She looks at Se Heon like he just said something ridiculous. "We're getting out of here."

"Rules are rules, sweetheart." The queen says with a smile. However, there was a cold glint in her eyes as she says the next word, your friend belong to us now.
