28 Chapter 28 - Learning the Language of the Sage Part 2

The screams that came from Mi Young as she plummets to the ground were never heard because the earth beneath her immediately closed up just as soon as it opened.

There was a loud thud that resonated all over the empty cave as soon as the black haired girl's body hit the ground.

"Argh." Mi Young grunts as she tries to stand from where she fell down. She can feel the slight pain in her butt due to the impact caused by her falling.

Mi Young scanned her surroundings and realized she was deep underground. She tried to find a way out but there was nowhere to run. She looked up to where the ground opened but she couldn't see a thing because it was all too dark.

Mi Young snaps her fingers and a small flame comes out from her fingertips, it helps her see through the darkness.

She hears a chuckle behind her. Mi Young sighs when she knows who that chuckle belonged to.

"What's up with you?" The girl asks as she turns around and faces the man who caused her to fall down. The flames in her fingertips illuminating the man's face as well. "What did I ever do to you?"

The man shrugs, "You're a Pyro Mage."

"And?"

"I hate them."

"So why didn't you trap all the Pyro Mages in school then if you hate us that much?" Mi Young asks while crossing her arms, distinguishing the little flame from her fingertips.

The boy looks taken aback with her question. He tried to open his mouth to say something to her but he came up with nothing. This caused his eyebrows to furrow in anger before he pointed an accusing finger at Mi Young, "Fight me!"

Mi Young rolls her eyes at the boy before she sits down on the ground. "No."

"Ha! Now that you agreed on fighting with me—wait what? You don't want to fight with me?"

"Nope." Mi Young says as she starts closing her eyes, wanting to meditate to at least not waste her time.

"Why not?"

"Waste of time."

"Waste of time…are you calling me a waste of time?!" The boy shouts upon realizing what Mi Young meant. He stomps his foot once more like a child throwing a tantrum and angrily says something like, "How dare you! Every Pyro Mage I have encountered was afraid of me!"

"Well, I'm not." Mi Young answers. This caused the man to get angrier.

Without wasting any time at all, the man executes a battle technique in front of the closed eyed Mi Young. Still, the girl remained calm and unbothered.

After executing his battle technique, the man formed his hand into a fist. Immediately, a chunk of rock that materialized beside him turned its shape into a fist as well.

The boy aimed it at Mi Young who had her eyes still closed. He was about to throw the rock at the unsuspecting girl when another voice stopped him.

"What are you doing, Jin!?"

Just as soon as the voice could be heard, the east part of the cave opened up revealing a man who was taller than the other boy and had a much more defined figure.

Mi Young sighs in relief upon noticing the other's arrival. Honestly, her back was sweating so bad due to fear. She has never encountered an Geo Mage before except for the twins during the entrance exam and she was actually pretty scared considering she doesn't know how to deal with them.

So the black haired girl silently thanked the heavens for sending the other figure just in time.

The boy who was harassing her earlier immediately fixed himself and bowed to the newcomer, "S-Senior Jeon!"

"Jeon?" Mi Young asks. She looks at the boy and her eyes widen in disbelief.

"Yes. I am the first ever Jeon who was casted out from the family because the Pyro element never chose me." The man says, answering Mi Young's question. Although he was telling a sad story, the boy had a calm smile on his face.

"Even though Senior Jeon is from a family of Pyro Mages, he's still the best in the entire Geo faction!" The junior says proudly. He glares at Mi Young before saying, "So you should not feel sorry for the senior!"

"Alright stop it already, Jin." The Jeon guy says. The other boy, Jin, apologizes as he hangs his head low. The man looked at Mi Young again, there was a friendly smile on his face this time. "I'm so sorry for his actions. This kid is really troublesome—"

"Senior—"

"Jin." The Jeon guy warns. Jin looks like he was being reprimanded by his mother and his expression is like a kicked puppy. He remained silent after that. "He's always like this, especially towards Pyro Mages. For some reason, he likes to challenge them all."

"Yeah, he said that already." Mi Young answers.

"So you do talk." The senior says.

Mi Young rolled her eyes at him, disregarding the fact that if the Jin guy was already her senior and Jin called the Jeon guy his senior, then he is also Mi Young's senior. "How did you find me?"

"Your friend, Shang Min, told me about what happened. And I immediately had a feeling on which junior would cause such a scene like this." The senior explains. He extends his hands towards Mi Young for a handshake, which the girl took. "I'm Jeon Ji Sung."

"Kang Mi Young."

"I heard a lot of things about you." Ji Sung says. The junior beside him, Jin, repeated Mi Young's name in his mind as he tries to remember where he heard that name before. Ji Sung on the other hand, started leading Mi Young towards an exit that he had created through the wall. "Follow me."

When Mi Young steps out from the exit Jeon Ji Sung has created, she immediately sees the house where Shang Min and her were standing earlier.

Upon seeing her friend's arrival, Shang Min instantly ran to greet Mi Young.

"Mi Young! Thank god you're alright." The blonde girl says as she hugs Mi Young. She looked at Ji Sung and thanked him as well. Then, when she saw the junior, Jin, she threw him a glare. "You. I don't like you."

Jin's smile which was plastered on his face the moment Shang Min looked at him, immediately vanished upon hearing her words. "W-What?"

"Hmph." Was all the Hydro Mage offered him before turning her head away in a snap.

Jin has a crestfallen expression on his face.

Ji Sung, who was standing next to Mi Young, leaned down and whispered in her ear, "Jin has a crush on Shang Min."

Oh. That's why.

Instead of being annoyed with the junior for causing her to fall on her butt, Mi Young felt only pity towards him. Knowing Shang Min, she doesn't look like someone who would engage herself in romance yet in her teenage years.

Ji Sung had his palm behind Mi Young's back as he guided them into their humble abode. The touch sent shivers all over Mi Young's body. Although she would like it if he detaches his hands away from her, Mi Young remains mute since she doesn't want to sound rude.

Upon entering the huge house, Mi Young expected it to look like a forest seeing as the outside of the house is covered in flowers and different kinds of plants.

However, the interior design of the Geo faction's house looks more normal compared to its front yard.

Every single section of the house has a white and greenish theme with a touch of wood as well. The floor is tiled but its design resembles a mahogany tree trunk. The curtains are white as well but there are a few vines that hang on top of it, which somehow adds an aesthetic vibe to the living room.

All in all the house looks comfortable. There are a few students hanging around as well.

As soon as they saw Ji Sung enter the house, they immediately stood up and bowed respectfully to him. Then they shifted their gazes towards the two young ladies following their senior behind.

"Who are these beautiful ladies, Ji Sung?" A girl with sleek black hair says as she walks towards them in a graceful manner. Even her body language as she shook Mi Young and Shang Min's hands to welcome them is graceful as well. "My name is Park Ha Rin. It's nice to have visitors from time to time."

Just then, another voice appeared out of nowhere. "Ji Sung! Stop keeping all these lovely ladies to yourself!"

Mi Young sees Ha Rin rolling her eyes at the newcomer. Ji Sung chuckled at the new guy as well, "Mi Young, Shang Min, this is my Vice Captain, Kwon Soo Hyun."

"Hi ladies." Kwon Soo Hyun greets the two girls. He also didn't forget to give them a flirtatious wink as well.

"Kwon? Are you…"

"Yes. I am the older brother of the twins. You probably saw them during the entrance exam, right?" Kwon Soo Hyun asks. Both Mi Young and Shang Min nodded their heads in agreement. "Who's more handsome? Me or them?"

"Erm.."

"Uhmm.."

"Stop harassing the poor girls!" Another voice that belongs to a woman says behind them. Instantly Mi Young can feel someone throwing an arm behind her neck and pulling her closer towards them. Seconds later, she can feel her whole face being squished against smooth skin. That's when she realized that she's face to face with someone's big breast.

"U-Ummm Senior Choi…the girls c-can't breathe." Mi Young hears Jin say as she tries to grasp for air.

"Whoops! My bad!" Senior Choi instantly lets go of Mi Young and Shang Min. This made Mi Young see her face clearly. She was met with a very friendly face of a tan skinned woman with breasts that are as big as fully grown watermelons. "I'm Choi Ha Na! Pleasure to meet you!"

"Alright. Alright. Now that everyone is done with their introductions, I think it's best if we let our guests relax and tell us why they're here, right?" Ji Sung announces as he looks expectantly at everyone inside the house. They all shrugged and proceeded to sit wherever they were most comfortable.

Ji Sung led Mi Young and Shang Min towards the cream colored sofa placed in the large living room. When the girls have finally settled down, one of the freshman students who Mi Young remembered during the entrance exam, offered them tea to which they both politely declined.

"As I was sayin—"

Suddenly, the doors of the house opened, revealing a raven haired guy that looked extremely familiar to her. This guy had an annoyed and displeased look on his face as he regards everyone in the house.

And when his eyes met Mi Young's, the girl immediately knew that this was the boy Shang Min was talking about.
