Chapter 5, A New Person

In the crimson palace, Dragon realm.

In a very large bedroom in the deepest part of the palace, the room contains a huge bed that is decorated with crimson sheets and lots of white cushions on the bed.

In the other part of the room, there is a small black table with touches of crimson that gave the table an elegant look. there are four chairs around it so people can sit on it, there is also a huge bathroom attached to the bedroom which is filled with all the things one might find in a luxurious inn like a sauna and hot spring.

Near the table, there is a huge cupboard filled with lots of books big and small with all kinds of colors and in the opposite direction of the cupboard was a huge window that overlooks a very large area in front of the palace but now the window is covered with a red casing that covers the whole window only leaving a small opening as to allow some light in the room.

On a huge bed, there lay a beautiful woman with black hair and crimson eyes, she has a small face with thin eyebrows, a cute pointed nose, and thin red lips.

She is Rebekah, the Queen of the dragon realm. She was looking at the baby sleeping beside her on the bed with eyes filled with affection and love.

He had a small cute face, a small nose, and cute pointed ears, that is Kevin after taking human form with help of his mother's power.

After being taken into a hug by his mother yesterday, she took him around the palace for a walk until they reached the bedroom when they arrived, he was already exhausted so he fell asleep after his mother used her power to help him take a human form.

You might wonder how did he feel so tired very quickly, well he has a strong mental capacity but this is still the body of a baby and isn't well developed yet and the time spent in the void for a long period of time without losing consciousness.

So when he got the chance to rest after finding himself in a safe place, he let the darkness take him to sleep.

Now after a few good hours of sleep, he woke in the bed while looking around him to see if there is anyone nearby, he then immediately noticed his mother at his right staring at him with an eye filled with affection and love.

Kevin felt slightly uncomfortable by that look because, in the past three lives, he didn't have parents or a family to speak about except Alice who joined him in his mid-teens in his first life other than her, he didn't have anyone to shower him with love and affection or show him what's right or wrong other than letting his own moral compass guide him.

He had to pioneer his path in his studies of magic and other things, Of course, he got some help from the system but he had to do the rest because missions from the system were filled with all kinds of bullshit.

So when faced with this sudden affection and love he couldn't help but find himself slightly uncomfortable but he tried not to show it on his face to not hurt his mother who he didn't even know her name till now.

He heard the maids and butlers saluting her when they were passing through the palace to get to the bedroom but since this is a foreign language to him, he didn't understand a single thing.

So now I just look at my mother with confusion wondering if we are going to keep staring at each other for a long time again.

After what seemed like 15 mins of staring at each other which made me tired from twisting my neck to stare at my mother's deep crimson eyes.

She points at herself while saying

"Mama"

And then she points at me saying

"Kevin".

While I tried my best from showing anything unusual for getting the same name for the fourth time in a row, so I played along and moved one of my small hands to point at my mother and said in a very small and cute voice

"Maaa"

And then to myself while saying

"ke".

Of course, what are you waiting for? Did you expect me to pronounce my name Kevin and say it out loud when I have just been born yesterday and my vocal cords are not developed, a dragon or not I am still an infant although I could try harder, but that is a very tiring thing.

My mother seem to understand me as she smiled in satisfaction from understanding that I repeated after her even if it seem I didn't understand what she meant.

" From now on, You are going to be the future prince of dragons," said my mother to me with a beautiful smile on her face.

While I and my mother were going to return to the staring contest again, there was a knock on the door, then the door opened and a very beautiful girl walked inside the room.

She has an attractive body with medium size chest, a big bust, and thick thighs, she was wearing a beautiful black dress which made her look more beautiful, with her crimson hair and crimson eyes.

She is the perfect copy of my mother except her chest is smaller and the difference in hair color, other than this you would think they are twins but the young girl still has an air of innocence around her, unlike my mother who has a mature air around her.

When the girl entered the room, she begin looking around until she met my mother's eyes, she then greeted her with a nod then she locked her eyes with me.

When my crimson eyes met hers, her eyes begin sparkling like a firework was going inside them, it nearly made me freak out because she is looking at me like a kid who got a new toy.

but remembering that my mother is still beside me, I started to feel safe again.

Then the girl moved very fast for my eyes to follow, she arrived beside me and took me into a hug while shouting something I don't understand,

"Brother"
