Emilia seeing that Kevin finished his fight headed closer to him.

"You seemed excited while fighting," said Emilia quizzically.

"It has been a while since I fought an exciting battle," said Kevin without thinking too much.

"What do you mean? Isn't this your second fight?" asked Emilia with a confused look on her face.

"Oh, I mean the last battle was not exciting like I read from the books, but this one I found my blood boiling while fighting from excitement," said Kevin after realizing that his tongue has slipped.

"I see, sure," nodded Emilia while staring at Kevin suspiciously.

"What?" Kevin asked feeling Emilia's gaze as she was suspicious, he thought that she is suspicious of his strange behavior.

But contrary to his worries Emilia was thinking if Kevin have gone to fight any monsters without telling her in the past.

"Well, whatever," then she just ignored the feeling of suspicion.

"Should we get going to reach the city before nighttime?" asked Kevin finding that Emilia just shrugged this topic.

"Yes, I am pretty much hungry from spending the time in the forest" replied Emilia.

"Then, let's get back."

Just like that Emilia and Kevin went back to the city to deliver the cores as a sign of completing the mission.

After arriving in the city and paying the entry fee, Emilia asked a question that startled Kevin.

"Hey, why are we bothering about an identity, I don't think that we are short of money," asked Emilia curiously.

"Huh?"

"What?" asked Emilia seeing that Kevin just stared at her blankly without any reaction.

Waking up from his stupor, he thought about it for a few minutes before saying.

"I don't know?" he said uncertainly.

"Why are you uncertain?"

"Well, we don't really need an identification card since we have money, but if we wanted to go to the capital of one of the Kingdoms or Empires here we would have to have an identification," said Kevin said after thinking for a while.

"Also we need the guild because they have a leaderboard with missions and also they sell information, so it will be easier for us to move around."

"Or do you want to join one of those low-level sects?" asked Kevin with a raised eyebrow.

"Eh, no, let's stay free like this until the time of the opening of the secret realm you came here for," said Emilia after thinking.

"Okay, let's hurry to the guild to deliver our missions and take our cards."

After meeting Eve in the Liberty Guild, they delivered the cores of the Crimson-One-Eyed Bear and the Shadow Panther and received their rewards which were some silver coins and bronze membership cards with their picture on them.

Receiving their cards from the counter, they choose a few more missions with the same level of strength as today to gain more experience before advancing to more powerful enemies.

Finishing their business at the guild, they headed back to the inn that they booked to eat and then rest for the day, although Kevin was not practically tired as he have more reserves of energy than his peers, he is still mentally a little tired as he focused today on controlling his physical strength and his energy, so all of this exerted a lot of mental strength.

And although Emilia hadn't exerted this much strength, she still decided to rest, as it is her first time fighting and putting any real effort into anything other than playing.

"Should we guide them to a better place to hunt instead of this place?" asked the violet-haired woman to the woman standing beside her.
