Chapter 29, Getting Ready

A tall handsome young man stood at 175cm with luxurious long black hair that reached to his waist. He has a good-looking face, with a straight nose, sword-like eyebrows, thin lips, and crimson eyes that hold a tint of darkness at their end.

That young man is walking between the passages of a large Palace, while any of the people who see him, would bow to him while saluting "Your Highness" and he usually nods with his head in recognition of this people's efforts.

After walking for a while, he arrives in front of a crimson-colored door that was taller than him, so he knocks on the door to ask for permission.

KNOCK~KNOCK

From inside comes a melodious voice of a woman that would make anyone standing there and hearing it relax if they were tense.

"Enter"

After hearing the confirmation from the person inside the room, the young man opens the door slightly and enters before closing it behind him.

What appeared in front of him was a view he was used to by now since he comes to this room every once in a while, so seeing a lot of papers and reports everywhere in the room wasn't enough to startle the young man, after turning his head and finding who he was looking for, he couldn't help but have a warm smile on his handsome face that made him more attractive, if there was anyone to see this smile it would have stolen a lot of young women's hearts but too bad the only one with this privilege would be the woman sitting on a chair behind a large desk full of papers and reports.

Behind the desk was a woman with a huge sex appeal, she has a well-proportioned body with an hourglass figure. She has a charming face with a cute pointed nose, thin red lips, and thin eyebrows. She has crimson eyes and black hair like the young man in front of her, which proves that those two are related to each other.

After walking toward the direction of the desk he gave the woman sitting there a tight hug and then sits on the chair in front of her.

"So what brings you here early in the morning, Kevin?" asked the woman with a warm smile that was making her already charming face more charming.

"I came here to tell you that I am already ready to go to the Lower World to adventure and try my luck with the inheritance," said Kevin with a smile.

"Didn't you just finish your breakthrough a few days ago?" asked the woman with a slightly sad smile.

"Yes, I just broke through Peak Golden Core Formation, all that is left is for me to start my adventure and join a lot of fights to sharpen my will."

"Do you have to leave now? Shouldn't you take a few more days to rest?" asked the woman with reluctance evident in her voice.

"You know mother, that I should start my adventure early, as it will be a one or two-year adventure if nothing wrong happens, so the earlier I depart the earlier I will come back, and mother, two years should be like a nap for someone like you," tried Kevin to persuade his mother with his words because he doesn't like seeing her sad.

"That is the case if I am cultivating but since I had you and your sister, it becomes difficult to enter long-time seclusion as I am afraid to miss any of your childhood days," said his mother with a dejected tone.

Although my sister should already be close to 40s and me to 15s, in our mother's eyes we are still little kids as she is someone who lived for a few thousand years already.

"Don't worry mother, Alina will visit you while I am gone for the next period."

"Okay you can go I will send you myself to the Lower World," said his mother after hesitating for a while, although she is reluctant to let him go alone, she knows that a flower that grows in a garden without seeing any difficulty will eventually wither and in this coming age of chaos, it is better to have a strong mentality and a strong cultivation level than be a weak stepping stone for other geniuses that will appear soon, but that didn't mean she will send him without supervision for his safety.

"You could open a portal to the place since we have one teleportation gate already set in this Continent," said Kevin to not bother his mother with such a trivial thing.

"What if something happens in the teleportation gate and you get shredded in the void by the space storms?" asked my mother with unconvincing words.

"Sigh, okay mother you can do as you see fit," sighed Kevin as he knows that he will not win against his mother if she wants something.

"Right, did you call your sister to notify her?"

"Yes, I told her yesterday, that I am leaving the Dragon Realm," said Kevin while averting his gaze slightly.

"What about Emilia?" asked my mother again as she noticed that my eyes that have been locked into her all this time have been averted slightly.

"Yes, of course," answered Kevin while this time completely averting his gaze away.

Noticing this, Rebekah asked why he didn't tell them.

"If I tell sister that I am leaving for the next year or two, she would come running to spend some time with me before I leave, and I am unwilling to stay, not after the month we wasted touring one of the Vampire Galaxies one month ago."

"As for Emilia if I told her that I was going to adventure in the Lower World, she would pester me to take her along, although she is a genius and won't hinder me, but I want to go alone," Said Kevin all in one breath after that he sighed again expecting what his mother was going to say next.

"You still should contact them unless you want an angry Alina and Emilia when you come back home," said my mother with a small smile.

Remembering angry Alina, I shivered slightly, after reconsidering I decided to tell them and leave quickly.

"Okay I will send them a sound transmission," I said after sighing again.

"Don't forget to inform Stella also" added my mother with a smile.

"Yes, I will why not?"

After that, I left my mum's study room to go tell my sister that I would be leaving the day after tomorrow so I can be ready.

After reaching my room, I got a sound transmission talisman from my space pouch to send a message.

Since I don't have a spiritual sense yet as they are unlocked when one reaches Soul Purification Realm, so using a space pouch is the only option left for me, although they have a smaller space than a space ring, they are still useful in case of not having space ring.

Picking the sound transmission, I send a message to my sister.
