1 Gathering His Bearings

Laying in an open field surrounded with forestry is Quin. Once human now turned Pokémon. It was just like any other day for him, finish class, go to work after, and then go home and relax playing his Pokémon Sword game. He managed to finish the Galar Pokedex; within a month of buying it. He finish the game by using only one Pokémon; his Corviknight. Few items from the PokeMart; potions and battle items. With his accomplishments, he finally went to sleep on his comfy bed and retire for the day.

If only he knew that a fire was spreading in his house due to him forgetting to turn off the stove. Thus, died to either being burned alive or suffocated to death due to the rising smoke from the fire. Quin is now in the field not knowing that he was exposed in the wilderness. That is until he had an urge to stretch. That was stop by a gentle female voice in his head.

'Congratulation host, you have been selected to be transported to your favorite world due to death'

'What?' he thought bewildered.

'You are also rewarded with a system to adjust to this said world. The system will now be installed'

'Wait system.... did I just... got reincarnated?' Quin thought in confusion.

'System installed showing status and abilities good luck outworlder!'

With his brain asking for a reboot, Quin was speechless. He got reincarnated into his favorite game - Pokémon! He also notice that he is the legendary Pokémon called Zacian and has a system too that is rank 1? But how did he die? did he die at all? Did he die in his sleep? Wasn't he sleeping peaceful in his bed after he finish collecting all 400 Pokémon in the Galar region? He accepted the reboot and restart his brain function. He needs to figure out where he was.

With that thought, Quin opens his eyes and stood up. He then took a look at his surroundings. He saw that he was in a field of flowers and all around is full of trees. He also took note of the broken sword near him.

'Is that a rusty sword?'

Quin went to pick it up. With the sword in his maw he wonder if he can turn into Zacian other form. He tried many different ways, getting into battle stance... didn't work. Swinging the sword awkwardly... didn't work either. Then a thought hit him.

'Maybe I have to be in an actually battle for it to work? but that's not right in the games Zacian turns into his Crowned Sword Form when Zacian is holding it'

Quin looks down in deep thought while still having the rusty sword in his jaw. After some time Quin decided to find some pokemon to test out his abilities. Quin went into the forest in an unknown direction, walking awkwardly with a broken sword it was a few hours until his stomach growls; hungrily asking for food.

'Damit how long have I been walking. I don't see any god dam Pokémon *growl* and my stomach is not helping at all *growl*' Quin sighs as he continues to trek forward, until he smells something wonderful in the air; as his mouth waters.

'That smells like food being cooked' Quin rushes toward the place that he smelled it from; whilst holding the rusty sword for who knows how long.

*Meanwhile near a camp*

The wonderful smell that took Quins interest were none other than a female trainer, who is preparing food, with her starter Pokémon. With a flame on the tip of its tail and a lizard like body is a Charmander with her trainer Diana Mille. The Mille family are well known in the Kanto region, as the best breeder company that have perfected a genetic modified Pokémon. Making the Pokémon as perfect it can be. Branching out into other regions while earning more than billions of pokedollars a month in the past years of founding it. Thus only some elite trainers have the honor to have these type of Pokémon. As of now Diana who has the traditional outfits of going out on a journey, Blue shirt, black pants with trimmings, a black coat, and a type of black homeburg hat. Enjoying the company with her partner Charmander, she stirs her food from a pot that is hovering over the campfire.

Diana, who is 10 years old, was always wishing to adventure out and explore the world. Even though her father wouldn't let her since she's his only daughter with no other kids to raise, and not to mention her mother died due to an accident involving a rampaging Hydreigon in a breeding session with another Hydreigon. Which lead to the collapse of the building and multi-hyperbeams cascading around the city in the Unova region. Ever since that day, her father worried that while on her journey something might happen to her and thus sent his Dragonite to protect her on her journey. Her daughter complains she doesn't need protection because she has Charmander by her side that she raised. But she agreed in the end since Dragonite could help in training her partner.

Diana place the cooked food for herself and place some Pokémon food for her partner when they heard rustling nearby. She look towards the noise and saw Her father's Dragonite. She look at Dragonite and sighed.

"Dragonite did you scare off the pokemon again?" She asked knowing the answer.

Dragonite nods at her. Diana shakes her head. Ever since on her journey Dragonite would scare off any pokemon that got near them. No matter how many times she told Dragonite to stop, he would just ignore her. Even though they were close to pallet town where the famous professor Oak lives and where pokemon aren't that strong around the area. Dragonite is unwilling to let her go without protection.

"Dragonite please for once, please stop scaring them off. When I need you I'll send you out okay? just please we are near pallet town and I want some experience in battle. Don't forget Charmander needs some battle experience" Diana explained.

Dragonite looked at Charmander and looked at Diana. He just shrugs.

'Come on, I wanted to have a battle ever since we came here' Charmander exclaimed.

Dragonite stares for a few seconds and just nods at Charmander. Diana looks at Charmander and Dragonite puzzled. Thinking that Dragonite decided to stop scaring the poor Pokémon in the area.

Meanwhile, in a nearby bush, Quin was silently listening to their conversation and stared at the Dragonite and couldn't believe his eyes.

If he were to take that Pokémon on he would diffidently lose. He was also glad that he was near pallet town. Now his eye set between its Moves and stats.

'What is up with that move set, this isn't a game world huh. Well considering that I have more than four moves it would make sense' Quin stares intently.

'Those stats are not normal at all. A level 5 Pokémon that has 52 Attack? Does that mean this world is different from the games or is it a combination of the anime. Comparing my stats to this Charmander I would diffidently win. Speaking of which why are my stats so high for a level 5? Is it because I'm a legendary Pokémon?' Quin muttered in his thoughts.

Quin system is... odd to simplify. Ever since he started walking through the woods, he notice that his system doesn't give him much information besides the statistics of a Pokémon abilities. Every time when he tried to ask the system he was met with silences. He figured that he must upgrade the system, but he doesn't know how. He guess it has to do with him leveling up.

With his thoughts scrap for now he decided to show himself. Diana notice the movement and saw Quin with a surprised expression. Dragonite turned around and saw Quin with a questionable look. Charmander on the other hand got excited to meet another Pokémon. Quin doesn't realize that he is in his Crown Sword Form. Quin has a staring contest with Diana. Until Dragonite step into Quin's view and growls. Quin looked at Dragonite. Then he looked at his stats and was surprised.

All his stats were multiplied by two and he is in Zacian other form. He took a defensive stance. He had a chance to fight the Dragonite, with his speed and his attack raised he has a chance to hurt it. Dragonite saw this and growled. On the side lines Diana looked at Quin fearfully, knowing things are going to go down. Only one thought was in her mind.

'What is that Pokémon, did it come to assassinate me!'
