The Girl

"I've never understood my life, why it came to this." She couldn't help but say to herself. She looked into the mirror and saw the one person she hated more than anybody in this world. "Why can't you be stronger?" She asked her in a voice that wasn't above a whisper. The girl in the mirrors purple violet colored hair was in a bun and her face that should have been beautiful was covered in rage and bruises. She took a look around her room, her pathetic walls covered in black paint and no windows, and a bed that was covered in filth. She laughed out in a bitter laugh " I wish he would just kill me already." She started to walk to her bed when the door of the room opened and unlocked. "Alright star, it's time to get up and go." The voice came from a very short red demon, he had blue eyes and horns no bigger than an inch. Star just stared at him, then a twisted thought appeared in her mind "I could just break his neck and try to make an escape for it." She gritted her teeth at her stupidity. "I can't leave without Joe." She thought. She then stood up and laughed a bitter laugh with a dark voice "another torture session, aye?" The demon did not laugh. In fact his face showed empathy for her as he whispered "no, Star, your father wants you..."
