Prologue

The alarm goes off and shows it's 6 am. After Dery awoke, he went straight to his morning routine and hurried to work. However, as he was bathing, a violent earthquake struck. This shocked him and made him fall, which knocked him out instantly.

After a while, Dery woke up and went to check his phone in rush. Dery checked the time right away and felt relieved that he was out for only four hours.

Very terrified and confused about what to do, he went to call someone. But he just remembered that he has no friends, no girlfriends, and no family to call with. Why doesn't he have a family you asked? Because they had an accident while they were on vacation and the irony is that he was the only survivor. This incident made him wonder "why only me?" "What good is my life without them?", this incident also made him more withdrawn because he always thought he didn't deserve to live and felt empty with his entire 21year old life.

Discarding the thought of him calling somebody. Instead, he went looking for news about what was going on and he saw the news saying that a meteor had just hit the other side of the earth and other nonsense such as zombies began appearing near the place where the meteor struck. The only word Dery can mutter after he read the news is " Fuck"
