The next day, Lera was having severe cramps indicating the she would soon be in labor. And Cain was worried about her giving birth tonight when his instincts kept telling him that his father would attack. He double checked all their preparations for the attack to ensure that they had a fighting chance. As the evening turned into night, Cain felt quite uneasy and paced the floor of their chambers. Lera came in and saw his worried face and walked to the bed.

My love come to me! Lera said and opened her arms to Cain.

However, several hours later, Cain heard the bells ringing indicating that the kingdom would soon be under attack from the lycanthropes.

Cain and Lera flew up from their bed and began to get ready. Cain saw Lera moving quite slowly and was struggling to get dressed and he quickly helped her. Tens of werewolves fell to the floor but more kept coming and only then did Cain realize that his father had invited several neighboring packs of werewolves, who was his colleagues, on the attack and he cursed loudly. He underestimated his father's tactics and cunningness and was about to feel the extreme pain for doing that.

He saw several more werewolves climbing over the walls and he knew then that the kingdom had fallen and they were in great danger because the villagers and himself hadn't prepared for the large number of werewolves that was now invading the Kingdom.

Lera listen to me, you have to go with the kids to the bunker, now! Father didn't just attack with our pack but joined forces with several other neighboring packs. Cain shouted.

No I'm not leaving you Cain. I cannot and will not! Lera shouted with tears falling down her face.

Cain went to her and kissed her and kissed her belly. He raised his head and looked into Lera's eyes.

You promised me Lera, please go now. We're running out of time!  Cain shouted at her.

Lera stood watching her villagers being mercilessly slaughtered. Blood filled the street like water and she began to scream loudly

When she was a safe distance away he looked around and saw the brutal slaying of the villagers he had worked with him only a few days ago. He was angry and heartbroken and shapeshifted and began to battle ruthlessly as he ripped the throats out of his own kind. He knew he had to fight to save his family and he fought long and hard receiving several slashes and bites. It felt like he was fighting for a long time and yet more and more lycanthropes came towards him. He was blood soaked, tired and gasping for breath. But then he stopped and immediately shape-shifted when he smelled his scent. With tensed shoulders, Cain spun around and stared into Abraham's eyes.

You didn't have to do this father! Why did you have to kill all these innocent people? They did nothing to you! Cain said as his eyes filled with water

 Cain eyed his father for a long time and his father eyed him. Abraham however felt a sense of proudness as he watched his son bravely try to defend his family from the pack.

I will protect Lera and my family at any cost father. I hope you understand! I cannot and will not allow you to hurt them. Cain shouted at him.

Cain then shape-shifted into a werewolf and charged at his father. But Abraham did not flinch because he saw Rolo and several other pack members running to his aide.

Lera was hiding in the bunker with the infants and heard the screams of the villagers and cried softly. She heard a small boy begin to wail and she quickly went to him and covered his mouth. Her stomach sent a sharp line of pain radiating down her back and she bit down on her lip until she tasted her own blood. Abruptly, she heard the footsteps of the wolves above their heads. She heard several of them sniffing loudly and then she heard the foot sounds stop for several minutes. She began to wonder if they had left and contemplated getting up to venture out to check.

However, this thought was short lived when she saw the door flung opened and several of Abraham's pack members ran down and began attacking and killing the children as they screamed with terror. Lera shapeshifted into a wolf and began attacking the werewolves to save some of the children. She had just removed the jugular of one of the lycanthropes when she looked around and saw several other werewolves attacking the remaining infants and ripping them to pieces. The entire bunker was a sea of red as there was little parts of their bodies floating on the water. Lera suddenly got a jolt of extreme pain from her stomach and she quickly shapeshifted to a human. She then began to scream like a banshee as the intolerable pain ripped through her stomach once again but this time she could feel a small amount of water running down her legs and several kicks in her belly. Suddenly, Lera experienced a feeling of extreme hotness as the metallic scent permeated her nostrils and seconds later, everything went dark.

Cain was running towards his father to attack when several of his pack members blindsided him before he had time to reach Abraham, immediately knocking him unconscious on the floor.

Kill everything in sight and bring him and his bitch back to the liar. Abraham said and walked off into the Castle to find Lera's room.
