My father appears from nowhere.

"Hello dad"I stutter, trying to recover from his shocking appearance. 

"How was it?,were you able to get closer to Josh?".

"No dad,he already has a girlfriend"

Father pulls me by my arms and whispers, 

"I told you if you want our company to grow we need the Brown's family by our side". He frowns.

"Dad I don't want to get married to Josh, I told you i already have a boyfriend".

"You mean that poor boy from a wretched family, who is trying to just feed off the company's business?".

"But dad you don't have to be so mean about it,".

"No buts,get Josh Brown's heart,win him over".

"Dad, our company can grow without me getting married into that family, and I don't even feel the slightest attraction to Josh, also I already did as you asked,I'm not doing that again," I said.

"You're so stubborn, just like your mother, I'm doing this for your own benefit"

"I don't need such help".

I received a call from Stanley.

STANLEY:HELLO BABY.

JASMINE:I HAVE MISSED YOU, HOW'S EVERYTHING OVER THERE.

STANLEY:CAN WE MEET TOMORROW NIGHT?

JASMINE:TOMORROW NIGHT?,ARE YOU BACK IN LOS-ANGELES?,WHEN DID YOU GET BACK?.

STANLEY:I FORGOT TO TELL YOU,I CAME BACK LAST NIGHT I HAVE SOMETHING TO DISCUSS WITH YOU TOMORROW NIGHT.

JASMINE:HOW WAS YOUR TRIP?,I'M SO HAPPY YOU'RE BACK I'VE MISSED YOU SO SO MUCH, SHOULD I COME BY YOUR HOUSE TONIGHT?".

STANLEY:NO I'LL TEXT YOU THE ADDRESS,COME THERE TOMORROW NIGHT.

JASMINE:OKAY DEAR,BYEE.

He cuts the call,he must have really missed me, I'm quite annoyed, he didn't tell me he was back in LA. he sends a text of where I should meet him tonight,it's a restaurant I'm very sure it's a date,looks like I'll have to go shopping to looks pretty for him.

I pick up the telephone to call my secretary.

"Hello ma,"she said.

"Cancel all my appointments for tomorrow,"I said to her then hung up.

I got ready to leave the party.

"Are you leaving already?," Mrs Brown approaches me.

"Yes,I have work tomorrow so I have to sleep early," I smiled

"Ohh no,you can just stay for the night, we've got plenty of room, you can use my daughter's room, she's not in the country as of now." She hands me a drink.

"Thanks ma, but I really have to go"I said taking a quick sip the drink and left.

Trying to find my way out of the Brown's residence.

"How big is this place?," I yelled.

I feel really dizzy and can't think straight

Making a little trip to the floor,as i fell and everything turns blurry, I'm being carried off the ground 

"Who are you?," I yelled.

"Put me down,now!!!," I tried to get off but couldn't, I looked at his face.

"You're mean and crazy and…and—" everything fades to thick black,I can't see a thing.

Waking up to a slight headache as I noticed I'm not in my room.

"You're finally awake" a voice said,I squint my eyes searching around the room.

"I told you I'm not getting married and you drugged me into sleeping with a slutty lady like you" A man in a bathrobe walks closer to the bed i laid.

"Ohh it's you Josh," as I noticed the cold look on his face.

"Let me clear things up,if your plan is to get me married to you by sleeping with me, it won't work" He climbs over the bed, with a slight part of his chest exposed.

"I didn't plan this, I was drugged" I said to him, he ignores me as he got dressed right in front of me,I closed my eyes.

"Don't act innocent, you've already seen all there is to see last night" he walks out of the room

I'm so confused, did we do anything?

"We didn't, right?,"

Checked myself under the blankets and I'm fully dressed .

"What the hell happened last night?,I don't remember a thing,"

After a while his mother entered with a food tray.

"Ohh my precious, hope he didn't hurt you?" She asked,petting my back

What is going on here?,I don't understand.

"Mrs Brown what happened last night?" I asked

"You don't remember, after the party you and Josh came into this room" She said.

"Huh!!!, I walked into the room myself" 

"Yes you did, don't worry we'll take full responsibility of what happened, get married to my son" She held my palm tightly.

"I don't know what's going on here, but I'll like to leave" I got up traced my purse and left.

What happened?, Did his mother drug me in order to get me married to her son, or did my father planned this?

I don't have the energy for all these, my head hurts real bad andi have a hangover, I have to talk to Josh and clear things up.

     Heading back home from The Brown's mansion,after countless attempt trying to convince Mrs Brown that I'm totally fine and she shouldn't bother, I don't need to get married to her son.

I got a text from Stanley as I got home.

"Don't forget our date is tonight"

his text calmed my nerves.

"I have to clear things up with Josh" I said to myself as I got dressed and left for Safe Airlines 

  On getting there,i was directed to his secretary 

"Hello, is Mr Brown on seat?" I asked politely 

"Did you make an appointment?" She asked not giving me one glance, with her eyes fixated on the screen of her laptop 

"Erm... it's kind of an emergency,so I didn't make an appointment"

"He is currently on seat but you can't meet him without an appointment" She continues typing,ignoring my very existence.

"Please could you at least notify him that Jasmine Blue is here to see him" 

"Ohh it's you" She finally gives me a look,

She taps on the white envelope on her desk

"Huh?" I cocked an eyebrow in confusion 

"Mr Brown asked to give this to you if you came over" she hands me the envelope and continues with her work

  I opened it,

     'For the misunderstanding we have on ground,I still stay on my decision and I will not be getting married to a lady who forced herself on me,I will compensate you in any other way but marriage. If you have anything to say tell my Secretary.

                                                   Thank you'

"What the hell is this?" I yelled

"Ma'am no yelling in the premises".

"Tell Josh i want to see him right now" I got so furious, I couldn't keep calm.

His secretary stares at me and didn't say a word.

"You know what,I'll just go to him myself" I dashed into his office. 

He seems uninterested as he saw me, he ignores me and focuses the document in his hands.

"Can you explain what this shit is?" I threw the letter to his face.

"I'm sorry sir,I tried to stop her" she bows as she tries to drag me out

"Do you know who I am?,how dare you touch me"

"You may leave" He signals his secretary to give us privacy. 

   A moment of silence as we both stared at eachother with cold eyes.

"What do you want?" he asked.

"What!?,did you just ask me that?, I was drugged and found myself in your bed,how did I force myself on you,I didn't ask you to sleep with me—" he cuts me off

"Sleep with you?" he scoffs.

"Even if my life was on the line, I wouldn't sleep with a crazy lady"

"Did you just call me crazy?".

"I'm sorry I meant slutty lady,you think I don't know your father's plan..."

I slapped him

"Don't you ever call me a slut,you think I also want to get married to an arrogant fool like you,you've got zero attraction, I only came here to clear the air about last night" I paused trying to cool the rage in me.

"Let's never cross paths again, you sicken me" I walked out.

  I'm filled with embarrassment, a part of me suspects all this was planned by my father just to get make me apart of that family.

I need to get this feeling out, I have a date with Stanley tonight why don't I get some new clothes from the boutique.

At the boutique 

 I entered and walked right into the VIP room,until a random staff stopped me

Excuse me ma but you can't go in there"she said to me

"Why can't I go there?"i asked.

"This place is for the VIP's, not regulars"she said

I laughed so hard,I could cry,

"Looks like you're new here" I said to her.

"Yes I am,but I'm sorry you can't go in there"she said as she dragged me by my wrist

"Wow!, seems today is 'piss Jasmine off' day"

She stares at me blankly.

I yanked my hands from her grasp

"I hate people those that belittle me,call the manager right now" I said in a stern voice.
