Chapter 2: The Secret Fear

Sebastian is a faery. He grew up thinking he was just a common faery, having had little interaction with others of his kind since his mother passed away. Little did he know that his mother had been the runaway Faery Queen before the civil war started by her half-brother, from which she managed to escape. Unbeknownst to Sebastian, he will soon discover that he possesses extraordinary powers as the rightful heir to the throne and the only one standing in his uncle's path to total control. He is the only one who can wear the faery crown, as it can discern who the rightful monarch is.

 Despite his remarkable abilities, Sebastian harbours a deep fear of his powers being discovered by others. He goes to great lengths to conceal his abilities, knowing that if his uncle were to find out, it could mean dire consequences for himself and those he holds dear. This internal conflict weighs heavily on Sebastian as he grapples with the responsibility that comes with his lineage and the fear of being exposed. He struggles to balance the desire to live a normal life with the burden of his true identity, all the while aware of the dangers that lurk in the shadows.
