15 Letting Loveth Know

Loveth stared to him surprisingly. Was he not the one that was warning her just now. She parted her lips away from his hot kisses and moved away from him and held her towel tighter to her chest not to loosen again and Patrick finally snapped out from his burning desire and shook his head to calm his urge and he used the back of his palm to wipe off his wet lips.

He wanted more of her pink lips, but she was their new maid and he wasn't supposed to even be in her room and he shook his head again and finally left, while Loveth fell back to her bed and cried.

"What's wrong with him?" She asked herself as she tried to brave up.

She hadn't been with a man before and he was her first, yet he made her looked like she was the caused and now he kissed her again and stared to her like he wanted more than that, whereas he told her that she meant nothing to him and he had never had anything of such to do with any of their maids.

She heard another sharp knocking on the door and she thought probably he was the one that had returned and she immediately ran into her bathroom and shut het bathroom door and she heard Nora's voice instead.

"Loveth!, Are you in here?."

"Yes, I mean am bathing" she responded to Nora, hoping Nora would leave and Nora walked up to her bathroom door instead and spoked to her.

"Did the young master came here to search for you?." Loveth thought to lie to Nora as she couldn't tell Nora the truth that she had an affair with the house master and he even slept with her the previous day.

"No.. I mean, I don't know, am bathing" she lied.

"Oh, okay. Because he came downstairs to look for you and I was in the kitchen with Nova and Aria arranging the new veggies into the fridge."

"Okay" Loveth replied.

"Are you sure he didn't came here to checked for you, but why will he even be searching for you?" asked Nora, wanting to extract words from Loveth's lips.

"I don't know Nora, am taking my bath and I didn't knew if he came here or not" lied Loveth.

"Okay then.. I just thought of it to let you know" responded Nora.

"Thank you." Loveth muttered, as she continued taking her bath and she heard the room door shut closed, indicating Nora already left and she sighed and resumed her bathing.

Few minutes later she stepped out and dressed up quickly and she dried her legs as she tried not to allow water enter into her bandaged foot and she walked out from her room, taking the elevator and going back downstairs to the kitchen to have her dinner with the rest of the maids.

Aria never told her she was leaving and she knew Aria might not be happy about leaving so she thought against asking Aria about it too.

As she stepped out from the elevator and walked into the large living room downstairs, she heard Mrs Eleanor's voice coming from the dinning room and as she approached she saw Willow seated across to Mrs Eleanor and Patrick wasn't there with them.

Willow stared to her irritating as she continued discussing with Mrs Eleanor and she subtly bowed to Mrs Eleanor as she walked passed them to the kitchen to serve their dinner, as her foot wasn't hurting her much again.

She walked into the kitchen and Nora prevented her from touching any of the trays of food.

"You're injured Loveth, so you cannot serve them today, until your wound heals" informed Nora, and Nova nodded and carried the tray instead.

"You wait here, once we are thru serving them we will be back" replied Nova as she left.

Loveth walked to a bench in the wide kitchen and sat and she saw Aria mopping the corridor outside of the kitchen and Aria was unusually quiet, while Nora and Nova returned and dished out another soup and it scented of pepper-soup

"Is that pepper-soup?" Loveth asked, feeling her appetite longing.

"Yes, is for the young master. Don't you know he has a weak stomach?" questioned Nora as she dished out a plate full of the spicy pepper-soup and Loveth swallowed and stared away not responding as she remembered her hot night with him and her pretty yellow face burned redder.

"I heard.." she managed to responded as Nora covered the pot and carried the tray of pepper-soup out to the dinning table.

Loveth sat waiting and Aria was thru mopping and she walked into the kitchen and meet Loveth's gaze on her and only Nora returned back to the kitchen without Nova.

"Where's Nova?" asked Loveth as she stared away from Aria to Nora.

"She went upstairs to inform the young master, dinner is ready" replied Nora and she walked to meet Loveth and sat beside her on the bench straighting her long legs.

"Ah!.. Am tired, a lot of work to do and you're really enjoying yourself sitting pretty here while we run the errands alone. How's your underfoot now?" asked Nora and Loveth smiled.

"Is not hurting me much, but I don't know if I can take off the bandage it's disturbing" replied Loveth

"No, you shouldn't. The doctor will be here tomorrow, so he will take it off by himself, but am surprised to see the young master carried you up in his arms in the morning, when the security alarm rang out and we rushed out" said Nora and Loveth blushed but Aria wasn't smiling with them either.

She saw that too, and she has been acting cool all was fine, but all wasn't as she loved and admired Patrick and wished he could asked her out for once, or made any advances towards her, but he never did, for all those years she stayed in their house.

She had even bruised and gotten injured, but he never baited an eye on her, nor ran to rescue her, like he did carrying Loveth like she was some jewel and worst was Loveth kept asking them about the young-lady that was Patrick's fiancee, was she having high hopes for their young master to court her, all because he rescued her?, Wondered Aria, silently.

"Don't have high hopes about the young master, I guess he was only been kind enough as he was with shoes while Loveth was bare footed" Aria finally chipped into their conversation as she dished out their foods while Loveth and Nora stared to her.

"I don't think so. The young master hadn't cared for any of us before since we were here before her and even some passed staff. Remember you told us he sent some away" replied Nora and Aria sighed not knowing what to say and Nova returned.

"That's right, but Loveth shouldn't go thinking about him. She's still young and is best she focused on her works here than shift her focus to the young master as I have been studying her since on Monday she arrived here. She was focused on her job, but since the night she saw the young master, she lost her focus" stated Aria and Loveth swallowed and stared downwards while Nora quickly fired back.

"And so what?. Why are you being so overprotective of the young master instead of focusing on your job here too?. Don't tell us that you have a crush on him too, and because he never noticed you for all these years you have been working for them, he shouldn't notice another, whom is more beautiful and cuter than you're?!."

"Nora!" Nova scolded and Aria's brows furrowed at Nora while Loveth jaw dropped and she swallowed immediately and stared apologetic to Aria.

"Leave her let her be running her mouth like tap. Am only been nice to Loveth to let her know the truth as she's new here. A lot of past staffs and maids that gawks towards the young master and tired to seduce him where all fired and embarrassed before the security threw them out. And Nora won't tell you this as she's also admiring the young master and she will love you to be thrown out too. So is best for you Loveth to focus on why you're here and forget about him!." Aria warned and immediately carried only her plate of meal, covering back the pot of jollof rice of their own foods, and she walked out from the kitchen and went to another empty room downstairs to eat her meal alone and she sobbed.

"Don't mind her, she's just jealous that the young master never admired her for once. The reason she needs to leave here. Like if they hadn't sacked her for years, can't she sack herself?" questioned Nora and Loveth frowned while Nova shook her head.

"We don't have time for gossiping Nora and what Aria said was the plain truth. You know boss don't like the maids ogling or gawking at him, so it best you let Loveth know the truth, so she doesn't embarrassed herself" stated Nova and she took over the big spoon Aria left in the pot half-covered and dished out the hot jollof rice into three flat plates and passed it to Loveth and Nora whom thanked her.
