Chapter Sixteen: I Love You Tonight

Jasper hurried to take Ixin away from the secret garden. He transported him to the main palace secretly without informing the masters. He put him in a closed room beside Jaelin's and was worried about what he would do to help him healing. Ixin's temperature was getting higher than his natural one. As a demon he had to keep his body a bit colder than that of the knights. Nevertheless, since he helped her taking off her poison, he exchanged it with her instead. The silver haired demon sneaked to the conservation room where they keep potions, poisons, antidotes and medicines. He had a good knowledge about it but still didn't know the poison that was in his body. While he was looking through those bottles of potions, master Lu and Hao were passing by hearing the noise.

"Who's there?" Calmly master Hao asked as they entered the medicines room. "I said who's there?" They got closer to one of the shelves as Jasper decided to expose himself.

"Demon Jasper!" Great master Lu was surprised to find him there.

"Greetings to the masters," He bowed with his intimidating resting face.

"What are you doing here? Why sneaking? I can't believe I haven't taught you how to respect us!" Master Lu disappointedly claimed as Jasper was silent. "Even that ungrateful knight didn't apologize to us! How rude of you all! I must go to teach her a lesson!"

"Please, forgive me master! It's an emergency. The night leader is poisoned and I had to bring him here since you have the best treatment," explained Jasper, looking down then straight at his masters.

"Leader Ixin is here? Poisoned?!" Master Hao cried as he looked at his fellow.

"Hah! He's paying for what he's done to Jaelin. That brat is learning a lesson now!" The great master exclaimed looking away.

"Master, this is a serious matter. Please, I request to heal him!" Begged the air demon bowing while they both exhaled agreeing.

Jaelin was unconscious as Sinian became anxious. He didn't know what had happened to her beside being poisoned. She looked weak and pale with a high fever while he was afraid something bad had happened to her. He tried to telepathically ask his elder brother but couldn't reach him since he was like her. With no hesitation, he thought of saving her by applying the Relixue process but was risky since he was about to lose half of his qi and transfer her body's heat to his. That was like melting ice with a heated water because he was a demon after all and his body temperature had to stay lower than a knight's one. 

It was getting colder outside and cloudy by the sunset. Sinian brought magical candlesticks made of light with dim fire. He put them on the floor as it started to get darker inside by the evening. He stood up staring at her, her released hair, her weak body lying down to her feet, was covered with his elder brother's hood while he took off his to let it slide down at his feet. Unbuttoning his shirt slowly as he fixed his eyes, falling slowly in a half-drunken state of lust. Not taking it off but removed the hood that covered her, throwing it away as he got on top of her breathing slowly. He reached his hand, touching her hair then put it on the beck of her neck as his thumb was rubbing her cheek and ear. "Forgive me," he whispered as he got close to her lips, pressing a kiss. He slowly started to move his mouth against hers, closing his eyes and feeling her small breaths crossing his. He paused to stare at her again when his mind was going totally blank, not thinking straight, but got back to press a passionate kiss that was followed by sucking her tongue as he put his inside her mouth. It was playing slowly and passionately as his hands were rubbing her neck, then one of them started to open her top. Sinian started to transfer his qi as a light blue miasma was surrounding them. It was a soothing process and he had to make her feel good about it. He often went down to suck her neck and kiss it over and over, then going up to kiss her so the formula would go smoothly. He, suddenly, felt a pressure against his kiss when Jaelin slowly opened her eyes, in a weak state. 

"Sinian? What are you doing?" With a fragile voice she spelled, looking at him with half-opened eyes.

"I… I just.." He speechlessly spelled as he tried to catch up his breaths. She didn't say anything but they silently exchanged looks, drowning in each other galaxies. "I was worried and wanted to save you," He explained, whispering. 

"Thank you," Jaelin smiled then pulled her head up, pressing her lips on his. Sinian was surprised by her reaction as they continued to make out. She clenched her fingers against his top then slowly was sliding it down his arms. He went down to her neck breathing under her ear and sucking it passionately as she moaned few times uncontrollably out of lust and joy. Their drunken state was getting intense from his hard breaths he was taking and her seductive moans. The demon took off his shirt as she blushed looking at his muscular abdomens and hard chest. 

"Let's stop here," Jaelin spelled with a flashy red face turning her face from being shy, when he went kissing her chest. He nodded smiling then kissed her forehead. He, suddenly fell on her fainting as she freaked out. "Sinian! Are you okay?" She questioned in a worry. 

"I'm fine. I feel weak because of the process only. Don't worry," He glanced at her smiling, then turned to lie down on his back, covered them both as he cuddled her and slept. 

At that time, Both of the masters and Jasper went to see Ixin suffering from a high fever. They noticed his top and hood were missing. Master Jin was informed to bring the physician as they joined them both. Jin was anxious since he thought of Jaelin and sensed something bad had happened to her since he noticed when she had left her room in a hurry. 

"What happened? Why is he here?" Master Jin inquired as Jasper looked away. 

"He is poisoned. We still don't know the type yet. His fever is higher than a knight's body temperature and that's severe," The physician explained as he felt confused. 

"What do you mean by you don't know its type?" Master Lu raised an eyebrow, looking at him then at Jasper. 

"I need to know what happened to him first, then see the real cause of it."

"Why is he poisoned, demon Jasper?" Master Hao questioned while the air demon didn't know what to say. 

"Jasper, my son. What has happened to him so he's like that! If you want us to help you, then tell us," The great master tried to pursue him as the others felt something fishy about it.

"I don't know. I was called by him and found him this way. He ordered me to take him here," Quietly murmured as Jin got mad. 

"What do you mean by you don't know! You are his subordinate. How could he be alone! Even though he was, he's one of the strongest! Who would dare to do that to him?" Scolded the master as the others tried to calm him down. 

"Can you stop arguing in front of me? It's a yanshi poison but a transformed one. Now, heal me fast and stay quiet," Ixin powerlessly murmured, opened his eyes in a weak state, as the physician was enlightened for the antidote. 

"I only know the antidote of the original yanshi poison. It's extracted from the rock mother of all rocks just like the poison. But a transformed one, that's new!" The physician was confused while Ixin rolled his eyes getting mad. 

"Bring me the antidote that's given to the knights. Tell them to leave now," The night leader ordered his fellow telepathically. 

"Excuse me. I need to go. Please, let's leave him rest first," Bowed Jasper and was about to leave the room. 

"Where are you going? He is not healed yet!" Master Hao pronounced as he left with no word. 

"Wait!" Master Jin followed him, stopping. "Did anything happen to Jaelin?" Anxiously asked.

"No, master. I need to go," He bowed again and teleported fast to the conservative chamber looking for the yanshi antidote that was given to the knights. As he was looking, the masters were confused whether to leave or no until Ixin ordered them to leave him alone. Master Jin stayed in front of the room, going back and forth, knowing Jasper would get back any sooner. Eventually, he got back after few minutes from searching when he found the bottle, but put it inside his top. Jin saw him from far and hid in Jaelin's room eavesdropping.

"Your highness, it's here," The silver haired demon got closer, putting the bottle on the bedtable. 

"Pour some warm water and add four drops of it," Ixin explained, opening his eyes to face the ceiling. 

"But you're a demon. A warm water is unhealthy for you."

"It's a knight's antidote, Jasper. It only works with warm water," Smirked the evil demon, rubbing his hair as his fellow followed the instructions. 

Ixin took the medicine as he felt pain inside his body from the effect of both the poison and warm water. Jasper sat down facing him as he began with transmitting his qi to his body. Master Jin could hear their conversation from the door until he entered, finding them in the middle of the process. Jasper was a bit distracted for a while as his leader calmed him down until they finished. 

"It's the evening, Jin. Aren't you heading to sleep?" 

"Do you think you can fool me just as you fooled the others?" Glared master Jin with fury as he sat down, facing both of them. 

"Fool you? It's not my fault if others are less smarter than me," chuckled Ixin, glaring back at him. 

"You're becoming more and more disrespectful! Where's Jaelin? What happened to her?" 

"You could've asked me that from the beginning, without unnecessary introductions," Smirked the devil, lying his back to rest. "Jaelin is fine thanks to me. A masked assassin was following her when she was on her way to meet me. I can bet he's a knight but I don't know yet, if she was his real target or me," Explained further the situation while Jin became worried.

"An assassin inside the Lunar Eris walls? Why would anyone be after her? Where is she now!" Ragefully attacked him as Ixin started to lose his patience. 

"Master, please, don't worry. Knight Jaelin is doing fine. She was attacked by someone of the earth element. He used the rockery walls to pull her down and they were poisoning her. Thanks to the night leader who extracted all the poison from her…" Jasper was explaining but was interrupted by Ixin.

"Enough! You're talking too much."

"I apologize, your highness," He bowed then took the bottle to get it back. 

"Where is she now? What knight would aim at her? It's stormy outside!" He worriedly questioned over and over as the arrogant demon felt annoyed. 

"You're asking too much, Jin! I'll bring her to you by the morning, and if I knew who would aim at her, I wouldn't be ignorant to that," he claimed, closing his eyes and putting his arms under his head to sleep. "Now, leave me alone. I'm already tired."

"If you don't bring her tomorrow morning, I'll not spare you, Ixin!" Threatened the master, leaving him alone in the room. 

The night leader felt uneasy for leaving Jaelin there. He felt abandoned by his brother since he only cared about her and forgot about him. He sighed closing his eyes, hoping to get some sleep since he was used on being sleepless.
