The end to their together

"He knows I am here." Ella continued her trail of thoughts, "He has asked me to meet him."

"You are not going." Roy declared.

"What did you do to convince him in breaking off the marriage?" She looked up at him curiously. The thought was wandering behind her thoughts, but she didn't heed to it. She was surprised to find no difficulties in the business from the Middle-east nations, except for few cancelled contracts there was nothing major routed upon. "What did you do Roy? What did you say him?"

He was standing with his face away from her sight, not showing his expression to her, Ella started panicking about the consequences Roy had faced for helping her. She thought he would never answer until he did, "I used my power to threaten him. I can't share you how I did, but know this," he turned to meet her eyes, "I wouldn't have let him have you." Not even if you wished, he added in his mind.

"That does not answer my question. If I am to meet him, I should be prepared from my side."

"You won't be meeting him. We are here for another task, a task more important than dealing with a never-existing marriage." She slowly nodded, remembering the reason they were here. Rather than wasting time with what the Prince had to say, she needed to focus on finding the girl. But a nagging thought interrupted about her theory of the two people linked together. The Prince said the same words, she had in her memory, in fact he had initiated the cause of her headaches.

Then were the pearls, she never imagined herself to be frowning upon a piece of jewelry material. "You're right. We should concentrate on finding her. Maybe you can use the app to find her." Ella suggested. It was one of the first things she thought as way of searching the woman. If Roy tracked her through that app, surely it could help in finding Ty's sister.

He acknowledged it answering, "I'll do that. I will get to that man and the cameras. We don't know whether the interceptor," he glanced at the note, "is a known enemy or an unknown one." Ella stared at him with fear, not for her but him, she was feeling afraid for him. No matter what he did to help her in her own mess, he traded something valuable for not sharing it with her. And she was afraid she wouldn't like the outcome of it.

"Roy," she called him who sat by her side gazing her intently, "Just... stay. Stay by my side." She reminded with a small smile, "Like father used to say."

"Even if he didn't say it. I will be here; you won't be getting rid of me anytime soon." She agreed, "We have consented to that." She held his hand with hers, squeezing lightly then letting go. Roy stopped her, bringing her closer to him, kissing her assuring. The feeling was delicious with a new surge of energy for Ella, she wondered if Mr. and Mrs. Walker felt that way when they realized they loved one another. She wanted to say it to him, but she was aware of the dangerous surroundings around them.

She wished she could protect this man from harm caused due to her, if anything happened to him, she wasn't sure the entire life of hers would be enough to repent for her mistakes. Taking a last taste of her, Roy was on his feet, "Wait for me." Saying that, he was out of the room to which Ella sighed and lied on her back supporting the mattress.

Ella had fallen deep asleep while stressing too much because she didn't hear any noise of anyone entering the room and examining her, until her fiancé told her she was doing fine.

"Don't take gifts from anyone." He insisted after being at ease to have her unscathed.

"I am sorry. I thought it was you." He didn't say anything but his jaw was clenched, suppressing what he was feeling.

"You are angry." She deduced her observation. "Bloody hell I am!" He spat continuing, "He knows what you like, what you eat, where you are... He could know why you are here too."

Suddenly the man rose up, searching the suitcases to bring them near the door, when Ella found him busy gathering their things, she followed him alarmed. "What are you doing?"

"What does it look like?" He stated rather than asked. "You are leaving." Her voice was shaking, he whirled around coming near her to shake some sense in her brain, "I am preparing for 'us' to leave. We are done with this expedition." He declared in finality.

Ella remained still hearing it, she denied, "I am not going." Now he was furious. Stalking to her he spoke with difficulty as if controlling his tone, "You had been poisoned nearly by the man who was going to marry you, the marriage which you accepted. He reached up here baiting you to be trapped in his games and you don't want to leave yet." He stretched the syllable on 'you', treating her like a small girl making a lot of silly mistakes. "We will find a better way to search her," he added opening the main door of the room.

She clutched his arm in a last attempt, "If he has reached here, do you think he will let us go just like that." She was satisfied to have grabbed his attention, continuing, "The city is his. We were trapped the moment we landed here." Ella slipped the door to close with a click, convincing him to listen, "He knew we were going to come here one day; he gave me the clue himself. He wanted me to come here. We don't know how many of them here are working for us and how many are working for their Prince."

The weight of their actions sank in their minds, Ella announced later, "I will meet him. He wanted me to be here, so... I'll have to see why he wanted me here."

"I am not going to bait you again." His voice demanded and pleaded at the same time, nearly bringing tears in her eyes. She calmly uttered, "I can guess, he has something of mine to demand my attention till now." Looking fixedly at his eyes she said determined, "And I will take it from him."

He studied the woman breathing hard to remain at her point, leaning closer to her face with an inch of difference, he rebuked, "I wish I had never searched for you."

With that Roy was gone from the suite, closing the door with a bang, letting the held back tears of the girl flow down unrestrained. Her knees fell weak there, supporting the door with her hands around her knees, she settled down weeping. Contradictory to what she expected in a marriage, it was too much pain for her to keep a grasp upon. Coming to a realization she was sure to be in love with him because she wasn't one to give her life to save someone. Ella was the person to keep a back-up for herself including the people she loved, now she was ready to sacrifice herself for another. Happy and sad with her conjunction, she distantly visualized all the moments spent with Roy since they were little. Maybe this was their end. The end to their together.
