Proposing a bond

The couple were engulfed with each other in their arms, as if protecting the other, Ella had stopped crying after which she had the realization that she had been proposed marriage. The moment felt surreal for her when she thought about it more, causing her lips to stretch in a smile, hidden in his chest.

He asked after a while, "What would you have done if I hadn't asked you?"

"Ask what?" she asked still with her head resting on his chest. She felt him move a bit, possibly shrugging, "To marry."

Ella bit her lips from smiling, "You also play riddles when you are jealous." "I am just asking a simple question." He claimed innocently, but she was aware of his innocent questions turning uncomfortable in no time.

Nonetheless, she answered playfully, "I would have married the next person asking me." "That couldn't have been possible. The person wouldn't last long to reach the aisle."

She moved her neck to face him, "Roy! You can't go around killing every man you don't like." His expression said that she was asking for a futile request. Her stare turned into a glare, to which he grinned and kissed her lips, erasing the expression to a more lovable one.

In between their kisses, he asked, "Why... do you want... to marry?" She stopped kissing him back, he enjoyed a little more until he stopped, to continue peppering small bites on her chin, jaws, neck. He breathed her scent, grabbing hold of her waist, where she was almost straddling him; the distant expression on her face compelled Roy to patiently wait while staring at her eyes, nose, lips he wanted to devour again.

"It is right."

The time passed led to Roy forgetting what they were talking about. When he recollected, he spoke, "I didn't want marriage because of my mother. You know we were left alone by a married man. And you didn't have a very bonded parents too, Elle. They were married in the eyes of the world, but we both know they were together because of the legacy and you." He stopped, checking whether she registered his words, he asked, "How could you be happy like that?"

He was asking about her future, if she had ended up like her parents, in a never-returning bond, she knew wouldn't have been happy. It would have become a burden after a while. Ella had observed that withdrawal among her parents, at first, she blamed it on their arranged marriage, but later she understood they never took a step ahead from being responsible for their roles. The only link between their emotional connection was Ella, while the corporation belonged to the heir, her father would be usually out or training her towards her future.

"How did you know I wanted to do this with you?"

He replied promptly, "You are my Elle. You have been always mine and this marriage is only a contract to bind that. I know how you feel about marriage. What I am wondering is why?"

Ella blushed at his instincts answering, "When I was little, I would look for an escape from the tedious lifestyle of becoming more than your age numbers. I would wander around the garden, which weren't much then other than small bushes, and grass at first. Mr. Walker was in the middle of growing trees along with his wife. They never behaved too intimate, but they always held the adoration and love for each other. They almost reminded me of my own parents until I discovered the difference being love.

"At that moment, their love seemed overbearing than all luxuries I was accustomed to." She chuckled saying, "I remember to make a wish in one of my birthdays that they were my parents. Later I realized, I was wishing to have a life like them. Either that or nothing."

She looked at him after that, believing he would pass a comment at her silly thoughts, he didn't seem to. He instead said, "I don't know gardening." Ella burst out loud, laughingly claiming, "It wouldn't suit you..." In the midst of her delight she didn't notice herself to be straddling her hips on him, until she felt him down there. Abruptly, Ella stopped laughing, she held his shoulders to shift away from the seat which was becoming dangerous by the time.

"I know what you are thinking and I am sure I don't have to give you a reason why I know that." He unashamedly blurted when she was moving away from him as soon as he felt uncontrollable inside him.

"Do you know what else I think?" He asked a question to her reddening face, matching her lips, to which he answered himself in her ear, "I am becoming impatient. Very. Much. Impatient." His language, the way he used the simple words to ignite deep feelings from her, surprised her. Did he always speak like that? She wasn't able to think that as his words kept ringing in her ears, even when he was no longer saying anything.

"I guess it's time we search for the girl." Before he could say anything to change her mind and her heart in feeling agony, she said, "There is a possibility she could be out somewhere. I know it would be difficult to search for her in a city like this but we can apply our resources to render it faster."

"You won't be having a lot of excuses to run away from me. Then... I will have my way with you. We should progress from being half naked to..."

"Stop it! We are here for-"

"I remember your breasts were growing out, now it is bigger and rounder," he went on gawking her form brazenly. She placed her palm on his mouth insisting him to put an end to his notion. There could have been much else, a knock sounded to erupt Ella from his hold to glance at the door. It wasn't locked, which only made her feel like a wanton to submit to Roy's moves.

"Stay back here!" She commanded, while placing one foot on the ground with the other following later, her hips was the last thing to leave him, which he enjoyed the tenderness until last. Opening the door after ensuring her dress was not much wrinkled, she was presented with the manager who was owning the position, they were making out a while back.

The man with his moustache cleared his throat, "I was wondering if I can get my office to myself..." His sentence was left in hanging as if knew what was going on inside. If only she had remembered that when they had started, she ranted herself for that. Smiling tightly, she said, "Of course." Making way for the manager she explained, "We were just-"

"You are disturbing your customers, Moustache." "Roy!" Ella scolded at his unbelievable tyrant.

"What? He didn't give his name. Ain't I supposed to produce one?"

"My mistake Sir and Mam. My name is Maaqsood Hamim Abdullah. I am sorry to interrupt your time, but I need to main the advertisement to the prestigious customers of the hotel, on the occasion of Eid."

"A what?" The words came out of Ella's mouth involuntarily. "The festival darling. The one we are here to attend." Roy gave his smiling answer, which Ella caught up assumedly, composing her features to accept the reason of their stay.

"It is strange you don't know the name of the festival you came here to celebrate." The manager interrogated her slip of tongue. His bushy eyebrows were scrunched together in doubt and disapproval.

"Forgive my fiancé, it was a surprise for her which I was going to reveal later." Roy walked out from his seat to join Ella, glaring at the man behind his smile. The manager was contemplating whether to grant forgiveness or ask one for messing the surprise. Roy drank the conflicted man musingly, "I expected better service."

Ella knew what he was doing with that man and with her in the side, away from the manager's sight, she told herself not to open her mouth with his sudden touch on her intimate area. What would she say anyway?

"I am sorry Sir. I will keep that in mind." He sincerely expressed his regret at being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

"Shouldn't we head for dinner?" Ella managed to say clearly, without showing weakness in being man-touched by the man standing beside her in the place, her body was screaming for release. Her plan worked in diverting his mind. "I'll let you off the hook for today. Don't disappoint me later." He instructed the poor manager, then replaced his hold with her hand turning to her suppressed breathing, which only desired him to take her to their room immediately. So he did. Leaving the pitiful manager, he took hold of her hand dragging her with him, which she was complying willingly. She wanted to get out of the office frontiers as soon their legs allowed.
