Unexpected encounter

"Beijing!? Why should I goto Beijing! We have military academies in Japan as well! It's not like only China has military academies." Hiro said. Last time or last life, he studied in the SDF military academy and was appointed as a Sargent in the Earth defense fleet due to his impressive academic performance. Then he slowly made his way up the ranks and became a lieutenant and then got sent to his death. End of story.

But now that he came back in time, he can change that. He can live the way he want. And prevent the catastrophe from happening.

"Look, Beijing academy is one of the top three in Earth, that way you can get the best education and with my recommendation you and Kuroto would be able to get the best of the best." Risa said.

"And why would I want that? Can't I just get in a normal academy and graduate?" Hiro asked with an annoyed tone.

"Oh? Talking back are we? I am not asking you to join, I'm ordering you to join." Risa said with a menacing aura. Her body started burning up in fire.

"Ah... Beijing is good! Beijing is good! I would love to go there! God I always wanted to go there for academic studies ha ha ha....." Hiro said. He sounded like pig begging for his life.

"Good boy, now get back home and go to school tomorrow, you still have a year and a half before you can enroll in the academy." Risa said with a smile.

Risa finished the paperwork for his discharge and took both Hiro and Kuro back home. She told Kiriha and family to go back and that she will take them back. As for her gang of soldiers, she told them to follow her.

Risa drive the two of them back while the soldiers followed them behind with their vehicle.

While on the road, Hiro reminded himself of the soldiers getup.

'Berets, high build, multinational, ranger badge and most probably close quarter type? Special forces? If my guess is correct, then these guys are Star Delta! What is Star Delta doing here on earth? And why are they obeying Nee-chan? Is she also a member of the Star Delta? This is confusing...' Hiro thought in his mind.

Risa noticed Hiro's expression. It seemed like he was confused and..... Alert? This is strange to her since she's been with all sort of people during her time in the military. She learned to read people's expressions and make out what they are thinking by reading their expression.

"Hiro, is there something wrong? Do you feel unwell or something?" Risa asked while driving. This got Kuro's attention as well.

"Boss, are you still sick? We can turn back to the hospital to get a check up, right? Nee chan?" Kuro asked and looked at Risa from the backseat.

"That's right, we can go do a check up once again just to be sure." Risa said and was about to turn the car, but Hiro stopped her.

"It's not necessary! I'm just thinking about few things, like the thing Kuro said when he was in the hospital with me." Hiro said. He almost gave himself up. He was thinking about why would they follow his sister? Is she a big deal or is she under watch? So many questions were running inside his mind.

"Ah! I totally forgot about that! This is serious boss! You know about that exchange student from China right? That hot bitch Su err or whatever the fuck her name is, she came with a lot of students and men in black when me and our homies were eating lunch and then suddenly started barking like a dog, saying you gave her a love letter and you don't even know the status difference between you and her and you were insulting her with this letter and shit, we talked back but those students hit our boys, she sent me to get you there or else she will come to your house with her bodyguard brigade! Shit's getting real boss, we need to think of something!" Kuro started panicking.

Risa frowned.

"Some random girl from China has the guts to mess with my brother? Oh I sure would love to see who has that kind of guts and him giving a love letter? I know he got balls but he isn't that ballsy." Risa said. Her mouth arched into a smirk.

"That's quite harsh you know? I'm more ballsy than you." Hiro said. After all, who would just straight up go against an army of 6ft size bugs with sharp claws and fangs? No one! Expect him of course, which is why he died a virgin. (Hiroto: Oii Author, that's a breach of privacy! If I ever see you, I'll fucking castrate you!)

"Hahaha, yea right." Risa laughed.

"Hahahaha! Boss! That's a good one! I can't stop laughing!" Kuroto joined as well.

"Yea laugh all you want, cause you won't be laughing later on." Hiro said and leaned against the window.

"Alright alright, no need to get mad~ this big reliable big sis will take care of everything for you!" Risa said as she puffed her chest.

"Oh? Someone who can't even cook and doesn't have a boyfriend even tho she's a twenty six year old women? No thank you, I'll take care of it on my own." Hiro said. Risa received a huge hit.

"Sorry for being a failure of a women T^T...." Risa said with a heartbroken expression.

"But boss, how are you gonna deal with her alone?" Kuro asked confused and concerned.

"Oh oh oh my dear brother Kuroto, just wait and watch, I'll embarrass her till she quits." Hiro said with a smirk.

He clearly remembers her. She's not an ordinary person. She's hot, that I guarantee. But in China, her status is way too huge. She's Ling Su er of the Ling family in China. One of the warrior family in Earth. Their prestige and reputation is very big inside earth. And her brother was a war hero in his previous life. He held the ground alone when Zergs invaded a certain planet. He's a true hero and his sister is no less either. She was called "The Ice Spear" or something because of her awakened powers. He heard quite a bit about her when he was in the military. Whenever the guys were bored, they would just talk about her and her three sizes. But Hiro wasn't much interested in her size but her title. The Ice Queen. The Ling family will decline in power future after the Great War. They were forces to leave Earth as a result.

But they settled down in a distant frozen planet out of the Sol System. The planet didn't belong to any system or Federation or empire or anyone. It was just a lone frozen planet. The news was that they settled there and don't know what happened but a year later she became the goddamn queen of that planet. He doesn't know much after that since he went to his death.

Back to reality. Risa brought Hiro and Kuro back home and she explained to Kuro about how she's gonna send the both of them to one of the prestigious military academy in Earth. Kuro got very confused that his brain actually stopped functioning and he subconsciously said "yes" which made Hiro jaw drop.

After that, Hiro made dinner for them when dinner time came. Kuro only then realized what he did and gave up regretting since no one's gonna give a batshit since none of them have enough guts to go against the tyrant sister.

They happily ate dinner and chatted what happened in the army while she was there and laughed at funny events. Later when it was time to sleep they all went to sleep in individual rooms, Kuro as well since he is gonna spend the night there.

01:23 AM...

Hiro opened his eyes. He looked around and got up from his bed. He picked up his jersey and tracksuit. He then quietly walked towards the door and opened it without a single sound. He looked around again. He closed the door behind him with utmost care as to not even make the joints sound. The door is closed. He walked down the stairs slowly without making a noise and went straight to the front door.

After exiting the house, he started running towards the hill two miles west of where his house is. He ran on the street for ten minutes before running out of stamina.

*pant* *pant* *pant* *pant* *pant* *pant*

"Ho....ly.... Fuck! Was I always this weak? This is dead meat, not even worth looking at! If I am gonna face against a fuckin army of big fucking bugs, I gotta get my stats up to my peak real quick." Hiro said while panting heavily. He got his act together and was about to take a step, but he almost his balance and fell.

"Fuck! This is way too weak! My muscles are punctured! I seriously need to work out a lot! Bite the butter and let it go bitter! Now that's better!" Hiro said and grit his teeth. He worked his muscles and got up.

He then started running again, but this time slowly. His muscles were aching too much, but he didn't care. When he was in the military, he could run ten miles and still run five more before stopping due to fatigue.

He ran for another two hours before finally reaching the hill bottom. He looked like someone in need of serious medical assistance. He fell three times and almost hit the poles on the way. He is dead beat.

He didn't care a single bit and walked towards the hill forest. Step by step, he walked deeper inside while leaving marks for his way out. After reaching a secluded spot, he butt fell on the ground and started panting heavily. He swallowed his own saliva to control his thirst.

After a while, he recovered a bit of his strength and stood up. He began stretching his limbs to relieve the stiffness. Military exercise is always the best for this kind of situation.

He was about to leave for his destination, but he sensed the presence of someone else. He quickly hid his presence and himself. No one will come here this early in the morning, unless they do something really shady or they really like to do things in dark, like him.

He quickly took out his handkerchief and covered the bottom half of his face with it. He looked around to see if he can find a strong stick or something just in case something happens. But unfortunately, his eyes aren't fully adjusted to the dark. He didn't give up and just looked on while contracting his pupils which made his eye sight better in the dark, but his range of view decreased.

Luckily, he found a stick. Though it's not the top quality combat ready stick, it's enough to knock someone's lights out if hit with it very hard.

Now that he has a weapons in his hand, he peeked out a bit. He couldn't see who it is. All he could see is a shadow of that person with a longer stick than his. A really long stick... Wait is that a spear!? Who the heck would bring a spear into the forest in middle of the night!? (Author: uh... Excuse me? Who wouldn't? In fact you are hiding with only a goddamn stick.)

Then he later realized that he is an idiot to think that way cause he only has a stick, a stick! Not a magic wand or broom but a stick! He has no right to complain!

He sighed and retracted his head. He thought about leaving the premises since another person is here, he still has a lot of time and he can always come back earlier.

He then turned right to take a detour since there is a person with a spear on the way he came. Just as he stepped forward slowly, a spear flew past his face! It missed him by five centimeters!

Hiro immediately fell backwards and rolled one time to regain his balance. He then took his combat stance real quick. His eyes became sharp and emitted his killing intent.

'That person just threw their fucking spear at me! Not good! Whoever it is, they don't wish to leave any witnesses about their visit here! Something real shady going on here!' Hiro said in his mind. He didn't look at where that person was standing previous, but at the spear which struck the tree.

Just like he predicted, that person came for the spear and faster than he thought.

"Very nimble, not bad whoever the fuck you are." Hiro said with a smirk. That person ignored his comment and just took the spear out like it was nothing. Bruh, that spear pierced the damn tree! And that person just took it out like a dart from the dart board.

Hiro got really serious now. He held the stick like holding a combat knife, not pointing front but point back like a real military specialist with his both hands up front. His footing was also the same. Ready to dodge an incoming attack. He could somewhat see that person's face, at least their eyes with whatever light there is. Their whole face was covered, not only their face but the whole damn body. It is like facing a ninja with a spear.

He looked at that person's eyes. It is.... Memorizing! Blue pearl like eyes. A girl? He thought. He looked at the chest region, but it is flat. He didn't care much since his life is on the line. He regained his composure and looked sharp at the opponent.

"UNECF, black sail fleet?" She asked with a confused look.

Hiro's face went dark. How did she identify him? No way! Unless, she's familiar with the black sail fleet and their fighting techniques.

She didn't think anymore and just charged at him while pointing her spear towards his heart. She is incredibly fast! Hiro just stood there.

'Was I wrong?' She said in her mind.

Just as the spear was about to stab his heart. He reacted. He used his right hand in which he held the stick to interlock with the spear's body and changed it's course downwards to the ground. The girl was coming at him very fast that when the spear stabbed the ground, it lifted her up in the air.

He let go of the spear. He didn't just let her leave. He went after her and calculated where she will land and slashed his stick like a punch. The girl landed and the stick landed a heavy hit on her neck. It was so strong that the stick broke. He then looked at the broken stick. It had signs of freezing. Ice! He then looked at her. Her neck had a frozen layer and it was exactly where his hit landed.

She then darted backwards and grabbed the spear on her way and gain distance between them and faced him once again.

"Like I thought, you're a black sail fleet soldier, ruthless as always." She said. Her voice was like a sweet melody.

"Hmph! And you? An awakened with duel ability? Ice and seduction?" Hiro scoffed at her.

Her anger raised. The tip of her spear froze as she charged at him. Hiro smirked. His fists got covered in raging fire. His eyes became red with bloodlust.

He caught the spearhead with both hands before it could hit him. The girl's eyes expanded in shock.

"Guess you're not the only awakened in the town now huh?"
