Wu Xing vs Godai

The fifth day arrived and everyone gathered around the training grounds. Qiao Zhi stood in the middle and had his crossed. He looked at me and Misao then closed his eyes.

"Today is a momentous day. Misao has finally been able to unlock her Miko Powers and because of that, she has the luxury of facing one of her biggest challenges yet." Qiao Zhi said.

Nagini watched and crossed her arms. "Hmph. What can this klutz of a fox do?"

"I sense a great change in her power. Her energy feels...Divine." Shi said and smiled at Misao. "I've been waiting to see such power."

"Master Liao Ru! Misao! Do your best!" Meng Xun cheered.

Qiao Zhi looked at us one more time. "The official Exhibition Match shall begin!"

Qiao Zhi teleported next to Meng Xun and watched us.

I slowly shifted toward Misao and she shifted backwards. I stomped my foot down, extracting a small boulder from the ground then hurled it at Misao. Misao guarded herself then took a deep breath and exhaled. She palmed the boulder then broke it into smaller rocks.

Misao raised her arms and the smaller rocks rose off the ground then she shot them at me one by one. I dodged each rock then palmed the air, firing a bolt of fire from my hand toward her. She palmed the bolt of fire, dispersing it. Misao then performed hand gestures and blew a large flame at me. I summoned an energy barrier around myself to block the flames. The flames collided with the barrier. Misao stomped her foot down then raised her arms. A rock pillar quickly rose me up and slammed me against the top of the barrier.

The rock pillar pushed me through the barrier then she jerked her arms down, making the rock pillar disappear back underground. She ran toward me as I fell from the sky and went for a strike. I opened my eyes and blew a gust of wind from my mouth, propelling me backwards. I landed on my feet and looked at Misao.

"It's looking pretty even right now. Misao definitely doesn't hold enough strength to break through Liao Ru's quick thinking.." Shi said.

"Even..? Liao Ru hasn't even gotten serious yet. She's merely only gauging where Misao stands before taking action. That's how she fights." Nagini said.

Misao got back into her stance and looked at me. She performed hand gestures then clapped her hands together. Water surrounded her feet then a sea serpent made from the water flew toward me. I raised one of my arms and blocked the sea serpent with a wall of Wood. The water strengthened the wood then I made the wall split into four and turned them into spikes. I hurled them at her.

Misao shifted her foot then roots emerged from underground, building a shield to block the wooden spikes. 'It's like she's not even trying. Does she secretly think I'm actually weak..? No...she wouldn't have spent countless hours with me if she actually thought that..'

I looked at Misao then fixed my clothes. "I've seen enough."

Misao looked at me then noticed I looked serious. She braced herself.

"You obviously have mastered the elements. There's no reason for me to gauge you anymore in your combat abilities. Xeusheng Misao. No Miko Misao, the true battle starts now!" I said then dashed toward her.

Misao grunted then blocked my palm strike. She slid backwards then looked up and noticed I was above her. I came down with a spinning kick with my leg covered in metal. Misao dodged the kick and noticed a large smoke cloud in front of her.

Misao grunted and dodged the fireballs that rushed toward her from the smoke. She noticed the smoke clear and watched me run circles around her at high speeds. "This...this is Liao Ru..?"

She shook her head and focused. "I can't let her get in my head...she's my opponent..."

Misao sensed an attack then went for the block, but my strike broke through her guard then she groaned as she flew backwards. She flipped off one hand then landed on her feet. I appeared in front of her then my arm was surrounded by fire. I rapidly struck her body then blew her away with a final attack.

Misao flew backwards and hit her back against the fence. She softly groaned and panted. She fell onto one knee. She slowly looked up and noticed I was standing in the middle of the training grounds.

"She can't keep up." Nagini said. "Liao Ru is too fast and she's only using basic Wu Xing."

"Well we've seen almost every element from Misao. How many other tricks can she show?" Shi asked.

Qiao Zhi watched us with his arms crossed. Meng Xun also watched attentively.

Misao stood up and ran toward me then grunted, falling to the ground. She felt her entire body was numb. "I...can't feel anything.."

"During my barrage...I struck your energy points which made your body numb after a set time. I acknowledge your strength, Misao...but you can't defeat me." I said.

Misao grunted as she tried to make herself stand. She grunted and forced herself to stand with her willpower. I was a bit surprised then smiled at her.

Misao noticed my smile then smiled back.

"How did she stand up? This logic makes no sense!" Nagini said and stood up. "Her energy points were cut off! She shouldn't have enough mobility to stand!"

Misao closed her eyes and took a deep breath then exhaled. She concentrated on her energy points then began trying to find a way to reconnect her energy points.

Qiao Zhi looked at me and noticed I was allowing her to. "You could've easily ended it...why are you just watching?"

Misao bellowed and her eyes kept glowing then stopped glowing. Her aura began to form and circle around her feet. The aura grew stronger then divine aura surrounded her body.

"What the- What kind of aura is this..?" Nagini asked.

"This isn't aura..! This is pure Mana!" Misao bellowed then began to transform into her Miko Form.

I watched with slight excitement. I felt Misao grow stronger from sheer will. I smiled with excitement as I was going to battle against her current full strength.

"You feel that, Noxius?" Shi smirked.

Nagini stared at Misao then her lips formed a wicked smile and her eyes shined. "Yeah I do actually...This is the power I mentioned a few days ago. The power she only used ONCE! This is Misao's Legendary Miko Form!"

"What all can she truly do?" Shi asked.

"When I saw it for the first time...She was able to become a Living Conduit. She can transform into any of the Shinto Legends as a fraction of their true power is all with her. She's known as the Miko of True Divinity. She wields all of their weapons, powers, and abilities but can only transform into one of her many inner beings one at a time." Nagini said. "That's what I got from what I saw."

"It is true that I am a Living Conduit. Doesn't mean I'm proud to be what I am as the burdens are too much for me to carry, but I can say...although I can't channel their energy as they are bound in Japan, this form boosts my abilities tenfold!" Misao said. She pointed at me. "Liao Ru! Just like you said the real battle starts now...now it REALLY starts."

I nodded then prepared myself for battle. Misao got into her stance then propelled herself toward. She went for a kick. I blocked the kick then countered her with my own strike. She grunted then roots grew from the ground and wrapped around her leg. The roots flung her across the training grounds. Misao recovered then landed on her feet.

Misao fired a barrage of fireballs at me then ran behind them. I dodged the fireballs then dodged her strike, just to be struck with a lightspeed attack. I was staggered then she struck me with a barrage of lightspeed attacks then kicked me away. She channelled the Aether Element then unleashed a beam of light at me.

I noticed the beam of light then blocked the beam. I grunted as I was being pushed back. I bellowed and the Gem of Inferno shined. Divine flames began to surround my body. I bellowed and transformed into my Super Form. I broke through the beam then vanished at invisible speeds.

Misao looked around quickly then groaned as she was being struck with rapid strikes from all directions. I appeared in front of her and placed the tips of my fingers against her chest. Misao looked surprised then looked down at my hand. I lowered my hand then closed my eyes.

"She didn't use her One Inch Finish.." Shi said.

Misao went for an attack, but I dodged it then parried her next attack. I palmed her stomach and her eyes widened. She coughed blood then was blown away. She nearly crashed into the fence, but Qiao Zhi caught her. Misao reverted to her normal form.

Qiao Zhi set Misao down gently. He closed his eyes. "Liao Ru wins this exhibition match."

"I'm impressed." Shi said then stood up. "Misao is more than ready to join us during our invasion."

"I'm not sold." Nagini said then stood up. "Yeah she might've been able to awaken her inner power, but I don't think she's ready for what we are going to do."

"Why is that?" Qiao Zhi asked.

"Yeah she can control the elements, but so can anyone with the basics of Wu Xing. Sure she can control a Divine Energy like Mana, but it doesn't prove she can hold her own against Bai Xang." Nagini said. "Her improvement shows, but we are in war. We need the best from everyone."

"You'll be sure to see her best then." I said. My eyes shined brightly as I looked at Nagini.

Nagini stared at me then smirked. "Oh really?"

"Yes." I said. "I will make sure you see her full potential."

Nagini laughed and her eyes turned into snake eyes. "I would LOVE to see that happen."

I walked toward Misao and picked her up gently then carried her to her room.

Misao woke up and looked at me. She sat up and held her head. "Did I lose..?"

"You did, but I am proud of you." I said then moved her hair from her eyes. "You held your own against me...Something I was hoping for, but it isn't enough to convince Nagini."

Misao looked at me and blushed a bit. "What should I do then..?"

"We still have some time left. I will get you connected to Huangdi and you will be set to start your Chinese Divination journey with me." I said then stood up. "Take some time to rest."

Misao nodded then laid down once again. I left her room and she sighed then stared at the ceiling. She covered her eyes with her arm then smiled. She was pleased with how things ended although she lost. This gave her the confidence she needed to prepare for battle against Nagini.
