8 Dark Berserk

"WHAT! WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?"

[Orpheus, calm down. Your energy is oozing uncontrollably]

"Hey Orpheus, please you need to calm down" Mr. Philippos pleaded

"DO.NOT.TELL.ME.TO.CALM.DOWN!"

Orpheus' eyes began to turn dark purple with the white part totally concealed. Purple mist began to coat his entire body and his shadow extended to his arms glowing dark purple. Orpheus opened his eyes and revealed long, sharp canines before speaking.

"Who did it?" he asked calmly

"Orpheus, when did you have this ability?" Mr Philippos asked with an astonished face.

That is none of your business. I ask again, Who.did.it. Never mind, I'll find out on my own," Orpheus said while sinking into his own shadow

"Orpheus? Come back and do not act rashly," Mr Philippos yelled after Orpheus but all to no avail "Shit! Guards, get in here"

"Is there anything wrong sir?" Two guards rushed into his office

"Quickly, look for Orpheus. He has gone dark berserk"

"But I thought..."

"Do not ask any questions. Just go"

"Yes sir" The two guards left the office immediately

"Aaahh! Monster!"

"Everybody run!"

Mr Petros stops teaching the students in his homeroom while wondering what is going on.

"What's happening outside the classroom?"

"I do not know. It may be a prank from one of the students"

"You are right. This happened last year too"

*Clang*

A blade cut clean through the classroom door and pushed to the floor making everyone to panic.

"Hey Phineus, I do not think this is a prank"

"Bro, same thoughts here"

"Everybody out" Orpheus ordered "Except Marios"

"Orpheus," Mr Petros called out "Whatever it is, this is not the way to solve it. Calm down"

"It doesn't concern you. Please get out"

"Okay everyone," Mr Petros turned to the students "Let's leave the classroom for the men to settle their problems"

"But sir, it's against the academy rules to..."

"Can't you see he's berserk?" Mr Petros pointed out, "Can any of you take him on?"

"Like I said," Orpheus said again "Everybody out"

"Kers, Kers!" Thalia yelled while running towards a brown-haired person in the library.

"Huh, what is it?" Kers turned towards Thalia

"Have you heard what is happening?"

"What is going on?"

"It is Orpheus. He went dark berserk"

"Why on earth would he go berserk when he does not even have an element?"

"Who knows? I also heard he went to his classroom and ordered everyone out apart from Marios"

"Shit! He is going to bury him alive. Let us go" Kers said before walking toward the exit of the library with Thalia at her tail.

"Now Marios," Orpheus stood before the young boy "Can you please tell me what you were doing at my house yesterday?"

"What the hell would I be doing at your house, you fool" Marios answered with a sneer

"Okay, that's cool" Orpheus put the blades pack into his shadow" I will ask you one last time. What were you doing at my house yesterday?"

"And I'm going to tell you again. What would I be doing in your house, you..."

Orpheus interrupted Marios with a punch to that of the latter falling down to the ground. Orpheus pounced on him and began to punch Marios repeatedly without holding back until a hand held him back. Orpheus threw an elbow at the owner of the hand only to hit air.

"I am going to be your opponent" a wolf-man spoke

A while ago...

Thalia and Kers ran up to the crown formed at the door of Orpheus' classroom. Wondering what was going on, Thalia walked up to Phineus, the class monitor

"Hey Phineus, where's Orpheus and Marios?"

"You don't know yet?" Phineus stared at Thalia questioningly

"Although I have an idea of what's happening, I still need clarification," Thalia scratched her head

"They are in there" Phineus gestured towards the classroom "I think Orpheus is interrogating Marios about some house stuff"

*Punch*

*Bang*

The loud noise interrupted the chat between Thalia and Phineus. Hearing the noise, Kers squeezed her way through the crowd and saw Orpheus brutally punching Marios' head into the ground.

~ Shit, Dimitrois, stop him! And Draco, get Marios to the infirmary right away ~

Dimitrois immediately teleported to Marios' shadow and stopped Orpheus' hand while Draco carried Marios to the infirmary

"I will be your opponent," Dimitrois told the berserk teenager

"Do not stop me from having my revenge if not I will cut you down myself" Orpheus said as the mist surrounding him began to thicken rapidly

Dimitrois formed a bow and arrow in his hands and shot it at Orpheus. Orpheus waved his hand at the incoming arrow, controlling the mist to intercept the incoming arrow.

*Pang*

A blade flew out of the mist and shone a faint yellow light as it sliced the arrow into two, stunning Dimitrois.

'What is that blade? It actually sliced my dark arrow' Dimitrois wondered 'It seems I will have to step up my game a bit'

SHADOW BIND!

Dimitrois stretched his hands toward Orpheus towards Orpheus' own shadow. The shadow beneath Orpheus left the ground and began to crawl on his body before tightening, tying him up.

[It seems I have to step in now before things begin to get worse]

"You..." Orpheus tried to talk as the mist began to clear before he fell down unconscious while his blades sank back into his shadow
