Scott's POV

Twigs cracked as I stepped on them. My hearts was about to blow up any second. I tightened my grip on Hannah's hand. Thick mist concealed the ground. The moon light grated through the tall trees and dimly lit the forest. We trailed behind tristan as he led us along the stony path.

/"TTristan?/" I stuttered, my eyes dancing around the darkness.

/"Yes?/" He quickened his pace.

/"Was this what you meant when you said the perfect place to celebrate my birthday?/" I gulped.

/"Don't worry, we are close,/" he said.

I screamed when bats whooshed past me and disappeared into the dark sky. Hannah let out a chuckle and Tristan joined.

/"It's not funny./" I exhaled shakily.

/"Why are you scared?' Hannah asked. /"I'm with you, don't be./"
