1 Chapter 1 -The road trip

One day Edward was working on music video and he got a phone call, he took of his headphones and answered it. It was Rachel," What is it now?" Randal asked.

"My parents, this town, everything I just want to get out of here".

"And you have packed your bags already?".

"Yes and tell Randall and Clarisse to join us".

"Okay I'll meet you at your house ", Randal said that and ended his call with Rachel, he got up from his chair, took his jacket and left.

Randal drove to the crossroad and waved at Rachel," Hi".

"Hey", Rachel said that as she sat down to the car, Randal started his car and left to the forest.

They drove trough the forest and stop at campsite, and meet their friends, Edward and Randall were sitting on the back of the car,"So where are we going?", Edward asked.

"Well, I was thinking we could go to the old valley", Randal said.

"Isn't there the place where you got folk crushed?", Rachel asked.

"Yeah back in the 80s", Randal responded.

"That's just a stupid myth", Clarisse said.

"Well, I'm up for it, how about you", Edward asked.

"Yeah why not", Rachel responded, they took their stuff and began their trip trough forest.

While Clarisse and Rachel were at the front and Edward with Randal where at the back looking at the map," Did neither of the guys brought tents with them did they?", Clarisse asked.

"I don't know I don't think so", Rachel responded.

"That's great what if we get lost?", Clarisse asked

"We won't get lost, don't worry we won't be at it that long", Rachel responded.

"Come on Clarisse don't you know what adventure is", Randall said that as he put his hand on her shoulder and rushed to front, Randall and Edward were messing around with each other as they both walked behind the girls. Rachel with a smile offered Edward some chocolate bar and he accepted it they continued their journey trough out the forest.

All of them took a selfie together and looked at it with smiles on their faces.

"So any life yet in anyone of us?", Rachel asked.

"Yeah, probably Randal", Clarisse teased Randall.

"Come on guys we're so close to finding the legendary floating forest", Randall responded.

"Guys, I think we might be lost", Edward said.

"Lost?", Clarisse asked.

"Look we should be by the end of the forest right now", Edward said that as he showed them the map.

"Give me that", Randal said and he rushed off.

"I knew we should've brought tents", Clarisse said in fear.

Randal turned around after he heard a strange noise.

"Is it a bear or...?", Rachel asked.

"Shh", Randall said to Rachel, after some time," Ahh", were the echos of Randall's voice.

"Randall!", Edward shouted.

"Okay what was that?", Clarisse asked in fear.

"Don't make a move, stay together", Randal advised Rachel and Clarisse.

"Guys am freaking out", Clarisse said, the strange noise was getting louder,"That's it I'm coming back to the car".

"No", Edward shouted.

"Clarisse", Rachel said and she was gone after that, Clarisse was runing in fear she hid behind a tree she turned around and saw something the only thing that Rachel and Edward heard were Clarisse's scream," Clarisse, Clarrise, Clarisse", Edward noticed a map on the ground an picked it up," Clarisse, Clarisse", Rachel repeated herself but there was no answer.

"Rachel, we have to go now".

"But we can't leave them".

"We have no choice we're next".

"What do we do?".

"Well, if we're here it means the forest line is just beyond that bridge, we have to make sure the coast is clear then we run, okay?".

"Yeah", Rachel responded with a soft voice, Rachel and Edward took of their backpacks and left them.

"We have a clear shot, are you ready?", Edward asked, Rachel nodded as a response," Let's go", Rachel and Edward began running, they were so close to the bridge but Rachel tripped, a figure was approaching.

"Run, get out of here".

"No don't say that".

"Go", Rachel said to Edward as the figure got closer to her.

"I'm sorry", Edward ran away, he got by the bridge but at what cost, Edward knelled down with tear drops in his eyes, in that moment Edward understood that he can't give up just yet he took a tree branch and went back to save his friends.

After some time he noticed that they where on the other side of the bridge he ran to them and used his tree beach to cut off any connection with the bridge, the land began to rise from the ground and floated into the air. He saw a figure that was in the forest before but they were passing the clouds by that point.
