Wake Up

On a cold, foggy morning in a beautiful dome of autumn leaves, a man seeks to wake up his sister, in a state of emergency.

"Georgia... Sis, wake up!" Ronnie.

Ronnie stormed towards the house door.

In a rush, he slammed onto the wooden door, attempting to wake up his sister (who's named Georgia).

"GEORGIA!" Ronnie.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

As the door opened, a figure drew close, revealing itself from the shadows.

"Ronnie?" Georgia.

"Oh, damn sis... Did I wake ya?" Ronnie.

"Yes! What is it?" Georgia.

Forcefully, Ronnie entered the home.

"Ron! Don't just barge through me! Seriously, you've woke the God damn kids up, they have school! It's 5AM and I have work!" Georgia.

"Georgia... Please, listen to me when I say, that should be the very least of your worries. Turn that damn Tv on and go to the news channel." Ronnie.

"Why?" Georgia.

"Just do it! I want you to see what's happening." Ronnie.

Suddenly, in the midst of silence, a bang could be heard on the window.

THUD! THUD!

Over and over again, it continued.

"Shit! That could be one of them!" Ronnie.

"One of what?" Georgia.

"Georgia, stay behind me." Ronnie.

A bloody, dirty man could be seen rushing into the window, attempting to get inside the house.

"Did you lock the door?" Ronnie.

"Yeah... We need to call the police." Georgia.

"There ain't no police!" Ronnie.

"Sir! I'm warning you if you come inside... We will have to shoot you.. He's got blood all over him!" Georgia.

"Damn right!" Ronnie.

"Wait what did you mean when you said there ain't no..." Georgia.

Eventually, the man broke through the window, finally. Raging, he grabbed Georgia, as Ronnie holstered his gun and shot the Undead man in the body. Despite the gun shot wounds, the undead man did not feel anything, not a singular spike of pain. He turned towards Ronnie. Ronnie aimed his gun at the man's head and blew his brains out, which splattered across the walls.

"Get the kids... We need to get away. Now!" Ronnie.
