The Unbound (Multiverse: The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones?)

'What happens to you after a truck smashes you to death? A question I’ve asked myself a thousand times, as I read stories or watched animes involving Truck-kun. I’m sure many of you would have the same answer as me: ‘You get reincarnated silly.’ Or even those who’d say: ‘You meet an ROB and get a zillion wishes and go to your favorite world to build a harem and have cock measuring contests with everyone who looks wrong at you, DUH.’ I was surprised when I got to test it first hand. Scratch that, the only thought on my mind as I faced the enormous monstrosity, if there was any, was that I didn’t want to die, while my body thought it would magically solve the solution if I pissed and shat myself. Turns out that men shit themselves when they die, who knew?' This is a story about an ordinary man who suddenly found himself in a different world with a GAMER system! Or at least what appeared to be similar. Current World: Game of Thrones First World: The Walking Dead Second World: Game of Thrones I wish to do: Harry Potter, Danmchi, Marvel, DXD... Nothing is fixed yet, and I will be taking requests into consideration. ------------------------------------ Support me on Patreon and read up to 5 chapters ahead: patreon.com/xenongraves RELEASE RATE: I'm aiming for 10k words / week. so 1 chapter / day , with 2k words, though for now, I just post wherever I've reached. I haven't stockpiled chapters yet. ------------------------------------ Disclaimer: I do not own The Walking Dead. Thanks to LordValmar for the cover! ------------------------------------ This part is to help you decide if you want to read this or not. 1- Is this a HAREM story? I understand this is a deal breaker for a lot of people. So I'll avoid wasting your time. I didn't add a HAREM tag because it's not a HAREM story just yet. However, if you are ABSOLUTELY against the very idea of Harems, I suggest you avoid reading this, because as the author I am open to the possibility. However, at no point will this become a story where the MC gets any girl he wants just because he looked their way. I wish to make the interactions as human as possible. Needless to say, with the system, it might tip the scale in his favor. 2- Is the MC OP? At the start? Nope. he is as ordinary as they come. I'm trying to maintain a balance in the story. if he can speed run the world, there is no point in writing about his adventures at all if he's already a god. he will EVENTUALLY be OP, but not right off the bat. 3- Does the MC get wishes? No. If you have more questions, ask me in the comment, I'll give you an answer as soon as I can.

Chapter 14

"We've dealt with them." Glenn informed Jacqui, Andrea and Amy, who had been waiting for them to finish. "The others are resting a bit ahead of us, let's catch up to them." They nodded, before following him.

They ran past the first corpse, finding a mangled bloody mess of flesh lying in a pool of its own blood, his head completely unrecognizable, making their guts churn with disgust. They did their best to ignore it, hoping they'd be able to keep their breakfast inside their bellies. Glenn noticed their discomfort.

"Trust me, there is worst out there…" Glenn commented. "Some walkers are spilling their guts as they walk, so better get used to it now." It seems the image was the straw that broke the camel's back, as Amy starting vomiting right then and there.

"Amy!" Andrea said worriedly, holding hear sister steadily. "You just had to say that…" she pointed at Glenn accusingly, while the latter just scratched the back of his head awkward, unaware of the social etiquette for when someone is vomiting.

"Are you alright?" She asked worriedly, giving her a tower to wipe her mouth.

"Yeah. I'll be fine." Amy said, sounding dizzy. "I'm sorry you had to see that."

"It's alright dear." Jacqui comforted her.

"Drink some water." Amy accepted the bottle from her sister, taking a few gulps. "Can you still walk?" Andrea asked. She was a bit overprotective of her sister, and didn't want anything bad happening to her.

"I'm alright, really. I just wasn't expecting this. We can move on." And so they resumed their running until they reached the others resting against the cars.

"You guys want some water?" Andrea said, holding two bottle in her hands. Which they accepted.

"Was it manageable? No wounded, I hope?" Jacqui said in a worried tone.

"No one got hurt." Jim said. "Kid was right, he took three of them, finished them in seconds." He gave credits where credit was due. "I don't know what we're doing wrong, to be honest. Mind tell us your secret, Xenon?" he joked.

"Good equipment." Xenon shrugged. "This little beauty gets the job done wonderfully." He pointed at his metal bat. "Though now that I think of it, we should get you guys an upgrade, maybe an axe, you know, a firefighter's axe? You could finish them with one hit to to the brains. Those wooden bats are holding you down." He remarked.

"We could check if there are any emergency glass cases." Glenn proposed.

"Good idea."

"We should get moving." It's been five minutes since they sat down, so Xenon had to remind them. "We're vulnerable here in the open. Better wait till we are in a safe zone to rest." And so, they took off again.

The rest of the trip was uneventful until we reached our destination: a store they hadn't hit before, as the previous one almost ran out of supplies. People bought a lot of things apparently just before the outbreak, as the news were concerning at the time, so it was understandable. I asked why we didn't loot the houses instead of the store, as it would be a lot safer, they told me it takes a lot of time to break into houses, you can make a lot of noises, and if you find a zombie might jump you at any moments if there are any. And since they still had the convenience stores, where all the resources were gathered, there was no need to loot the houses just yet.

Glenn and Theodore used Dayle's tools to break the two locks blocking entry. We were lucky the front door wasn't locked; the owner probably thought the metal curtain was enough, lived nearby, or just didn't give a shit at the time. We're not complaining, it works in our favor. We didn't bring back down the metal curtain even though it would've been safer that way, the power was down, so we didn't have any light except for our flashlights, and we'd rather not use those.

The store was pretty big, though I doubt it would last us long. Not everything here was very useful to us. We weren't gonna get full on ships and sweets and that took a lot of space in the store. We checked it for walkers, and when we didn't find any, everybody got to work. We packed everything we might need, the older ones pointing us to what's most useful in our case. Bread, canned food, pasta…
