Strange Beast

Adin woke up and quickly looked at his watch, he froze. He had been passed out for 24 HOURS!, 'SHIT SHIT SHIT!' He looked at his watch and he almost fell over. He had 30 mins to kill a beast and gain its beast soul, then he had to make it to a shelter before the timer ran out. He sat down in a meditative state and used his ki search. People had different auras and so did the beast.

It only took him a few seconds before he found a small group of beasts, he dashed towards them. It was a small group of mushrooms dancing around a fire but Adin did not have the time to be fascinated. He summoned his sword and killed them all, lucky he received a beast soul. A pillar of light shone and then a small mushroom hat fell from the sky, it was a nervous scene but Adin did not care as it was probbally a F-D class beast soul.

After Acquiring his beast soul he used his Ki to dash towards a shelter, 'I HAVE TO MAKE IT ON TIME!!'

~ Earlier with Vincent ~

After the short rest Vincent woke up from the rest and stretched his body, he looked at his system hoping with rest his body might have healed but he was sorely wrong. It still showed the same % as last time, He sighed and looked at his watch '2 hour and 30 minutes left' He wanted to try and kill the Sea crab but he knew that he did not have the time or strength for that.

So he began to explore the Cave. The cave was dark and every few seconds Vincnet could hear the sounds of water dripping from the ceiling. He heard some beast growls and sneers and he could have sworn he saw 2 green big eyes watching him. He kept his hand near the wall to feel for any opening or secret entrances.

A bit of searching went until he found a secret entrance, when he pushed it open he was surprised to see how human-like the trap door was. He was even more surprised when he walked inside. Inside he saw a stone holding an encased book. The book was green and blue and had the same design as his necklace. "This is strange…." When he tried to reach the book a screech rang and out of nowhere a beast jumped out.

It was a monkey with 4 arms, each arm carrying a ring. His eyes were green and he looked crazed like he wished to die, He screeched viciously towards Vincent as if warning him not to take another step forward. [ New Quest unlocked ]

'Cursed? I've never heard of a cursed beast before!' The excitement made Vincent's blood boil, he ran towards the shadow performing the Undead Fist, The monkey growled and with its 4 arms it created a ring of shadow. Seeing this Vincent slowed down and canceled the Undead Fist. He and the monkey stood still, the shadow ring still hurling around in the air. Vincent frowned and picked up a nearby rock, he then hurled it towards the ring.

The rock went through the ring but it began to slow down the more it went forward. It was not long before the rock stood still in front of the monkey who mockingly laughed. To bad for Vincent he was not going to give up that easily, 'Even if its a beast there is a limit of time they can active there A-Cells' He gathered bits of rock and got ready, "HOW DO YOU LIKE THIS"

A variety of rocks were being thrown everywhere and the Monkey began to look tired, one by one they would all slow down but after the 64th rock the shadow disappeared and the monkey fell to its knees. Vincent walked in front of it and performed the Undead Fist crushing the skull of the Monkey and killing it. A shadow pillar appeared and at the same time a notification appeared.

He was not focused on that as he looked at the shadow piller, An Armor chest piece flew into his head. 'MY FIRST BEAST SOUL' He tried to remember how to summon his beast soul from his school teachings. 'When you kill a beast, a pillar of the element the beast wielded would appear, the chances of getting a beast soul from a beast was 70% for all ranks. Once a beast soul is inquired it will fly into the users head and the user will only have to think of summoning it to use it'

Vincent took a deep breath and thought of summoning the armor, suddenly shadows appeared around his body and an armor piece appeared. The Armor chest piece was purple and had the print of 4 arms surrounding a green eye. As soon as the Armor was put on Vincent it felt like he had always been able to use a skill called Shadow Ring. He raised up his palm and just like he would with his system thought of creating a rinn of shadows.

And just like the monkey a ring of shadow flew from his palm and floated in front of him, Vincent went over and picked up a rock and hurled it inside, and just like before it began to slow down. But after that 1 rock flew in, Vincent felt very tired, like he had run 2 miles. He took a few deep breaths before heading over to the flying book. As soon as he touched the glass he got an immediate system notification. [ Replaying Memory ]

That was the last thing he saw before he passed out…
