94 Naive

The vast, dark depths of the underground space brightened as Maya was pulled along to an open area.

The expansive underground cave finally revealed itself. To call the cave huge would have been an understatement.

When Maya looked around, she realised that it covered hundreds of meters in diameter with a high ceiling propped up by many giant stone pillars that appeared sturdy.

The demon was pulling her towards the centre of the cavernous space from which light was emanating.

Maya was soon dragged to the centre of the cave. The light around them intensified and illuminated everything nearby clearly.

The pure white light was unlike anything she had seen before. However, her head was tightly clamped by the hand of the demon, so she couldn't directly look at the origin of the light.

"You are here?" A young man's said.

Obviously, the young man was not asking her. He was asking the demon that had taken her hostage.

"Yes."
