Biting down on a burger as I grab something that I have missed for a long time
A rather special soft drink, that I just couldn't recreate the taste of
Coke
Sipping the beverage down my throat in rather large gulps
"Wow, how can you eat so much?" Asks Ritsuka taking a bite out of his own food
A salad
Which is pretty much what is left of their own food
My supplies are still being unpacked and examined for anything detrimental
"I like food," I answer him as I turn to Mash who squeaks out loud and looks away from
"So, servants are a type of familiar?" I ask her trying to break the tension in the air
"Yes, in the simplest answer yes," She answers looking nervously at me
I chuckle a bit
"I am not going to bite you, I already said that I will help you deal with this mess," I try to reassure her
"Although, the servant thing is rather interesting," I note as I go over them
"But, why would anyone try to summon them in the first place?" I ask as summoning someone from the death or whatever, to fight seems like a rather stupid reason
"For the Holy Grail War," Answers Mash
"Holy Grail, you mean the cup that was said to be used during the last supper?" I ask curiously and rather hesitance
Connor warned me not to mess with stuff from that age, much less time travel there
From his observations at least on DC, on any Earth the events that happened during that time are impossible to alter, and he hasn't found any possible way to change any events
I am not messing around in that time
"No, its name was used to mock the church," Says Olga entering the cafeteria looking exhausted
"Really?" I ask as I go over my memories of how the church was said to treat people with magic
Drownings, death by fire, crushed by stones, decapitated
Yeah, I can see how people that use magic are not exactly friendly with the church
"So, what does the Grail do?" I ask while looking at Olga
"It grants wishes," She answers and I blink at that
"Wishes, actual wishes?" I ask rather skeptical about it
Aside from the Dragon Balls, any other wishing artifact, that I know off has at least some form of monkey's paw
Also, it was made by humans so they probably fucked it up or something while attempting to use it
"Yes, it does so by storing magical energy to actualize those wishes," She answers as I stare at her as I process that and resist the urge to facepalm
"That sounds...dangerous," I say as I go over my not-so-insignificant knowledge of magic
To turn pure magical energy into something capable of granting wishes...the sheer amount of magic gathered has to be enormous
I have gone over a bit of Wishcraft as I wanted to see if I could make my own version of the Dragon Balls, with little to no success
Then again, I am not sure if our forms of Wishcraft are similar, but the Dragon Ball version of it is dangerous
One of the reasons that I stopped practicing and instead chose to just learn about it
Is everything that could go wrong when attempting to learn how to use it
There are 2 things that I had to consider if I wanted to actually learn how to use it
First off, Monkey's Paw is a very real thing
If I were to wish for all of the people on Earth to always reach their minimum nutrition intake a day, it could cause them to become cannibals as people begin eating each other
Second, Intent does not play a factor for my version of Wishcraft
This is why, I instead wanted the Dragon Balls to grant my wishes, instead of just simply using Wishcraft to grant myself wishes
I do not have the capabilities to be able to grant wishes to myself in a safe manner
The Eternal Dragons are different
They have the conceptual ability to be able to use Wishcraft to the extent that they do
Sure, I could probably wish to be able to know how to make my own Dragon Balls from the Super Dragon Balls, if I were to find them
But, honestly, I have no idea what to wish for anything that would help me out in the long run that I cannot accomplish or obtain by myself
For God Ki, I just need to 'cultivate' it, for me to become a god, and become stronger than ever before
Grand Magic, I need to read more, and practice magic, until I eventually get it naturally
The only thing I could probably wish for, is that I am brought to my physical 'mortal' limit, but I can do that myself
"The process of it is far more complicated but no less impressive," I acknowledge the genius behind it, even though, I have a feeling those Grails are bad news
Especially taking into consideration that the creature has 2 Evil Dragon Balls with him
"Indeed," Says Olga as a I want to leave to my room that I was given to process everything
"So, what is the deal with these Grails?" I ask Olga to which she sighs
"According to Romani, it is highly probable if not an outright certainty that the Holy Grails are involved as he has pinpointed the location of several singularities. Which are essentially anomalies within the timeline, the exact number of them at the moment is 7," She says to which I turn to her confused
Spreading out my senses as far as I could reach, I could still feel the one where the burning town was
However, it feels weird than it did before
Well, weirder
I am not quite sure, what is going on here, but I am certain that if these are actual moments in time, I would not be able to detect them so easily if anything these seem similar to the pocket dimensions I have been experimenting with recently
"What about outside of Chaldea?" I ask only for everyone at the table to turn at me confused
"There is nothing outside of Chaldea, we are essentially floating..."
"What the fuck are you all on, I can sense billions of humans walking around," I interrupt Olga,
"What are you talking about, humanity has been incinerated," She says and I raise an eyebrow at her audacity
I let out a breath as I remember that she can't sense the lifeforce of others(Ki)
"I am not talking about the souls that were floating in the sky while we were at the burning town, but outside of Chaldea, I can feel humans moving around the planet," I elaborate much to their disbelief
I open my mouth again as I get the feeling of being watched and I turn to the side and see a blue mist with 2 glowing red eyes
Glancing at the others, I see that they have been frozen in time
Looking back to the blue mist, I get the feeling as if I am staring at an army marching, and bringing progress everywhere they go and I realize what it is trying to do immediately
I respond using one of the abilities of my Ki's Will, I confront it, and I merely raise an eyebrow as I feel like billions of different people trying to confront me
Humans
Increasing the intensity of my power a bit more, the blue mist disperses in a hurry, but I note that time was reversed up to a certain point, as Olga begins again saying...
"There is nothing outside of Chaldea, we are essentially floating on nothing..." She goes on to explain what happened outside Chaldea
Hmm
Whatever that blue mist was, it is trying to keep the fact that the world still exists outside of Chaldea
For some reason
